This was a concept sketch where I was focusing on perspective, composition and values. I really liked how this turned out. Id love to hear what you guys think and if there is anything I can improve on.

Hi everyone!,
so my new artwork is finally done!
I call it...

"Jungle Beat"

The idea behind this creature was it, to bring two completely different anatomies into one. This beast is powerfull as an Gorilla and shielded like a big giant crab. ( He eats meat )

- Crab and Gorilla

Sculpted  in Zbrush 4 R6
Maps in Zbrush
Textured in Zbrush and Photoshop
UV's in Headus UV Layout
Rendered in Keyshot
Photoshop for comp. work

In the end, i want to thank Kurt Papstein and Dominic Qwek! These artists inpspire me everyday with their amazing work and nice Videos/Streams.

Hope you like it all.

Cheers Leif

This is a detail of a large 3D environment. It is one of many test renders done to evaluate the progress.

Some day this will actually be finished :D

This is the environment without any of the props and other items - it is just the basic structure.
