Everyone has secrets. Sometimes they have secrets they don't even know about. They are the things we force ourselves to forget. I only wish I could forget them now that the voices have become quiet.
Everyone always seems to think that I'm just a normal person. I swear to you that I can be. It's hard sometimes though when they start talking again. You don't know what it's like to always have them watching you.
Sometimes I see them in mirrors. All of our pale white faces make it hard to know which one is which. And sometimes I can't tell the difference between their voices and mine. Do you want to know what they're like? There can be so many of them that I will only tell you about the main ones.
I call this one Mad. Why? Because he does things that don't make sense to me sometimes. He's wild and angry. He usually only talks to me when things have fallen apart. He tells me things. Tells me to hurt people. He tells me the truth about others, you know. He makes

It was a difficult day today. It had been normal until Virus woke up. He usually sleeps a lot so I was a little more than just surprised.
I had been playing a game with a friend, Pewds to be exact. The day itself had been pretty quiet until we started a co-op game. I can't even remember what game it was but it was a scary one.
It happens sometimes that Virus likes to show when I'm really scared. I guess it's because he likes fear. Or at least that's what he always says. He once said to me that there was no emotion more delicious than fear. I still am not sure what the hell he was talking about.
Anyway, I was playing when we both got a good jump scare. It wasn't that big a deal but I guess it was enough to make Virus visit. Next thing I knew he was sitting next to me.
"H-h-h-how long ha-have you been pla-pl-playing?" He draped himself around me shoulders. I hate the way he sounds when he talks. His voice is just like mine but I always know i

I'm scared. The only reason I'm sharing this with you is because I'm scared. I don't know if it's really a good idea to share it honestly. Something may happen to me if I do. Or worse something may happen to you.
I invited Cry over today for some gaming since he's visiting up this way right now. I...I still feel uneasy just thinking about it. I've been seeing more of them than ever before. I see that damned pale white face in the trees more and more. I don't know what to do anymore. I think somehow he got into the house today. I don't know how but I swear he did.
I had been sitting at my computer with my back to the room. I don't remember exactly what I was looking at but most of the screen was black. I had my headphones on so I couldn't really hear anything either. Well I was fine until something moved out of the corner of my eye. It was a reflection on the screen. I wish I hadn't noticed it. I'm so afraid they will figure out that I know they are there.
Horror: NoisesSometimes the things that scare us most aren't works of fiction. More often than you would think they are the things that we have lived through. I'll share with you, whether you choose to believe me or not, one of those tales.Horror: Noises1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This
It was summer the first time it had happened. I was home alone that night. I was watching a favored show when the noise started. It was so soft and subtle at first that I hadn't really noticed it. It wasn't until the commercial break that I heard that soft tapping more fully.
Tap. Tap. Tap.
I still remember the way it sounded. It seemed to echo off the walls in that dark room before finding me again. I naturally thought I had just scared myself into hearing it. After all it was a scary program I had been watching. I still felt terribly uneasy but I shoved the feeling aside when the show had started again.
I didn't notice the noise again for the rest of the airing. By the end of the program I was content again and comfortable. I could feel sleep starting to seep i

It's just a game. I know that but I'm not so sure it makes as much sense as it used to. I wish I could pretend that simple phrase still brought me so much comfort.
I started playing these damned horror games a long time ago. I will admit that I'm pretty easily scared but it looked like fun. I was wrong in so many ways. I understand that now.
I know you won't listen to me. Not many people take me very seriously anyway. I am being serious here though.
Don't play those horror games too much. When I started playing them it was no big deal. I would get a little scared but at the end of the day I could just turn off the monitor. In that simple movement all of my fears would go away. It was that easy.
I didn't start to notice a difference in things until recently. I would sit down and start to record but something was just...different. I have even caught noises that I can't explain on t

The name’s Cry and well… Things… have happened in the past few months.
None of them I can explain clearly.
But all you need to know is I’m not living alone anymore.
There are five others here with me.
Let’s start from the top shall we?
To start, We have me - Cry. Just a regular guy who plays video games and streams late nights with his friends. Everything was normal for a long time until a few more people saw my videos and the subs grew. I love the people that watch but… they’re the ones who…
Next… There was Mad. He was the first to arrive if my memory serves me right. Or maybe it was Fem… Either way, he was one of the first of us. He’s unpredictable and well… mad. He yells a lot and gets violent. We have to keep everything sharp under lock and key. I’m the only one with a key because I’m the only one h

The word made Cry cringe, made him shake his head at the ridiculous things people came up with; sometimes it even made him feel downright disgusted. He sat heavily in his computer chair, ignoring Skype for the time being and going to his Youtube channel.
So many comments. Ones about him being oh so perfect; but he cringed as usual, he wasn't perfect.
It was a frequent thought in his head. It made his stomach churn and made bile rise in his throat. People were God damn naive.
Didn't they know any better? That no man, woman, or child could be perfect?
He smiled bitterly and adjusted the white poker-faced mask hiding a majority of his features from view. So many people went on, and on, and on, about how much they loved his voice, his personality, everything abou

I...can I tell you something? I figure we are at least friends enough for me to tell you something right? I just can't keep this to myself. I can't tell Marzia either. I...it just doesn't feel right to tell her. I don't want her to think I'm.... Never mind that. I just need to tell someone.
I woke up late last night to knocking at my door. It was strange. I didn't know who would be coming so late at night. I was glad that Marzia had gone to visit a friend because it would have definitely woke her up. She can be a pretty light sleeper. It took me a moment but I finally got out of bed and headed for the door.
I had honestly thought about staying in bed. It was late and our place was colder than I would have liked. I needed to at least check to see who it was though. I wouldn't be able to sleep easy if I just stayed in bed knowing someone had been knocking. Before I got to the door though something struck me.

Let's play a game. I want you to make sure your door is closed and the lights are off. It should be as dark as possible. If you really feel bold then answer my questions every time I ask you something. It helps get into the right frame of mind. I'll wait a moment for you.
Are you ready?
I imagine since you are here you have always wondered what it would be like to see a real ghost. I don't mean the crap you get in the movies. None of that fake blood or cheesy makeup.
I mean a real ghost. I bet you thought it would be pretty cool right. I mean how many people really get that chance right. But have you ever really thought about it?
Well this game will give you the chance to see something real if you want to try it out. I've done it many times myself and had pretty good results.
Most people think of ghosts in terms of small balls of light or white wispy smoke. I'll tell you first hand though it's nothing like that. It's a hell of a lot worse.

“Hey, What’s this?” Trapland asked, holding up a box. He shook it, hearing things rattle inside as he held it out to Cry. The man took it and smiled fondly.
“It’s a game called ‘Monopoly’” Cry replied casually, mind adrift and not thinking of his responses. Trapland nodded and scurried away into the bedroom, leaving Cry alone to read his book.
“Wait...” Cry muttered a few moments later. “Monopoly?” The word dropped from his lips and the book tumbled from his hands as he leapt, running into the bedroom and opening the door. To say the inside of the room was in chaos was a understatement. Fem was digging her hands into the banker till, stealing as much monopoly money as she could. The big thug pulled me up by my sweatshirt. He grinned and suddenly slammed me against the roof of a dumpster. His pace increased once more, beginning a fast jog as the sing song voice trailed him.

The jog transformed into a run as he turned down the alleys and streets, voice calling to him in a sickly sweet tone, asking things like ‘Where are you going?’ and ‘Why not take a rest?’

The words were muffled, unexisting but they rang clear in his mind. It was his name. His real name. He screeched to a halt, looking around frantically for the source of the voice when a door opened a few metres away.

An explosion roared as debris rained from the heavens and onto the desolate streets; a dust cloud billowed and marred the sky, marking the location of where it took place. A figure leaped on top of a car, denting the roof as he looked impassively toward a destroyed storefront. He ignored the crumbling buildings of the ruined section of the city, he didn't care about the people that raced away, screaming in terror. The figure kept his focus on the storefront, waiting for a sign, a movement.
A second figure stumbled out, coughing; his green hoodie ragged, torn and dirty, same with his jeans and shoes. He coughed again, sending the first a sharp glare through the eye-holes of his slightly cracked poker faced mask as he readjusted it correctly on his face. Wind rushed through and blew the dust away, ruffling the second figure's brown hair as blue electricity crackled around his forearms. The first figure's lips

It was a beautiful porcelain doll. You know, the way that most porcelain doll looks like. I was just like that. Wavy, long blonde curls. Black eyes.
