Interview with an ArtistResponding to questions that I mentioned in this journal - http://fav.me/d6vor3v (These are, obviously, all of the questions that were asked; but if enough questions are still asked after this batch, I may do this again with the new ones)
1. Why does your left eye bleed in every drawing?
- Because it is a mask.
2. How were you introduced to devianart? And how do you feel about your growing popularity?
- Hmm, can't quite remember. It was a long time ago, well, it feels like a long time because I stopped using my account for like 1-2 years and then came back. And for the popularity, I usually just sit down like 'why do people like me I don't get it' ehehehehehe damn you low self esteem
3. How do you deal with hate on the internet? Do you have any sassy comebacks? -flees-
- Depends on the hate. If it's obvious griefing that's empty, then I just ignore it. If it's idiotic rabid fangirl brats saying retarded things like OMG JEFF IS IMMORTAL BECAUSE HE IS SO

After his encounter with the demon in town, Ethan decided to return to the forest. However, he had realized again his hunger, and decided that he had no other choice but to do something about it. He had managed to steal some food from a stand to feed himself. He didn’t like stealing, but he didn’t really have any other options.
Only after satisfying his hunger did Ethan make his way back to the forest. He looked around constantly for any signs of the demon he had encountered before, but didn’t manage to detect any trace of him.
Ethan didn’t really know if he wanted to see that demon again. He was glad that the demon hadn’t killed him, but he didn’t seem all too friendly with him either. The next time Ethan encountered him, maybe the demon would be bored and then decide to fight him. Ethan cringed slightly, remembering the demon’s menacing claws sheathing and unsheathing so easily.
He sighed and decided that, whether he’d m

Ethan blinked his eyes open, and then looked up. The dark sky was getting brighter, he looked around; confused. He didn’t realize how long he had been lying there.
After running from his parents, he had passed out due to fatigue and pain from his foot. Ethan had lied there unconscious throughout the night, now as he was awaking, it was near dawn.
He placed his deformed hand on the ground and pushed himself upwards to sit up. He looked around again, the scene from just a few hours before played in his mind. He whimpered, lifting his mask with one hand and wiping away a few remnants of tears and blood from his face.
Ethan was about to stand up when something caught his eye, he looked forward curiously. Something was lying in the grass in front of him; he reached forward and gently took ahold of it with his long claws.
He grew even more curious and intrigued when he saw that it was a feather; a large, ragged, black feather. He recognized it, as it seemed to be si

“Ugh, so fucking bored.”
In the city, a lone man walked. He wore a black trench coat, along with a black hat, dark gray shirt underneath, black pants, and a silver tie blowing in the wind. He was unusually tall, and his stride was brisk and quick. Perhaps the most unsettling thing about him, besides his inhuman height, was the painted bandana on his face, which bared a frightening, sharp-toothed grin with piercing yellow eyes. Poking out from underneath the bandana was a lit cigarette, holding up the fabric enough to see a little bit of black blood and sharp red teeth.
This man was known to humans, by urban legend, as ‘The Pretenderman’. Most of the population didn’t believe he existed; that didn’t bother him. Although ‘The Pretenderman’ was more of a formal title, he was known by others like him as Zehnder.
It was getting late, and the sky above the city was streaked with red, yello
After - Part 1I open my eyes. All I can see is darkness, though. No, wait, my eyes are adjusting, I can see some objects now; am I on the floor? I turn my head slowly to the side, and wince in pain a little. My body feels sore all over, why do I feel this way? I . . . I can’t remember . . .After - Part 11 year ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
I see there’s someone lying next to me, on the floor as well. My eyes try to adjust to the dark light to see who it is. This guy, he looks kind of familiar . . . but I can’t quite put my finger on who he is and . . . dear god, is that blood!?
Ignoring the soreness of my muscles I quickly scoot away from him, and he doesn’t move. I’m afraid he’s dead. There’s blood all over him, looks like there’s stab wounds in his chest. No, not just stab wounds, there’s a hole in his torso. A big, wide, gaping, hole. I can see some of his organs, oh lord it’s awful! I want to look away, but somehow the gruesome scene keeps my eyes locked onto it.
Then I notice there

So basically, I am feeling better now :3 Big thanks to my friends on skype, you guys cheer me up a lot ;A; And of course to my fans on DA. I love you all so much :'3 makes me so happy knowing you all. Even if I can't exactly always remember who is who or who said what (gimmie a break there's over 4000 of you XD I can hardly remember phone numbers) just know that I love and appreciate all of you :3
Yes, they are both off of DA now, we are safe HERE. But, my art, and others, are still on the other site (of what I know of) and I will not stand for that.
And I 'm sorry, didn't have enough time to reply to many of the comments on the last journal trying to cheer me up, but to all of you who commented, thanks :3
Aaaaaaaaand I should probably explain a little bit about me. You see, I'm the type of person who's happy nearly all of the time. But, I also believe that EVERYONE has high and down times, a dark side, a soft side (yes, including you, Zehnder),

A day passed, Ethan didn’t see or hear from Ryan or the other demon. He had wanted to speak more with Ryan, possibly convince him to help him in his situation. Ryan still intimidated him, but at least he wasn’t hostile.
After using the medical kit Ryan had given him to properly bandage his injured foot, Ethan started to regain hope for himself. He had made his way back to town and lingered for a bit, staying hidden in the shadows.
This, however, caused him to be worried again. His story was big news, everywhere he went he heard people talking about a boy who was killed by a demon; or even warped stories such as that a demon had killed and eaten a boy and then killed the entire household.
What scared Ethan the most was that while the majority of the people were scared, many others were angry. Fearing for their own lives, several people had put out a reward of cash for anyone who could bring in the demon, de

Analysis - Creepypastas and CharactersI actually attempted this thought a little while back; but my wording failed miserably and everyone thought I meant something else. So I shall try it again.Analysis - Creepypastas and Characters2 years ago in Profiles More Like This
When it comes to creepypastas, or any horror character really who has fans but not too much of a defined canon personality; they have two types of personalities. There's their Creepypasta personality, the one which they are given in their original story/point of origin; and their character personality, the one give and molded to them by fans.
The Creepypasta personality is often less interesting and more two dimensional and uninteresting. Jeff, for example, is like this in his origin story. He's a normal kid, goes crazy, and then is, well, insane. By this time he is a maniac who murders people; that's pretty much it. He isn't afraid of fangirls, he isn't a deep and sensitive person; he's a crazy killer who would stab you in the neck because why the hell not. He'll probably end up dead quickly, either by the obvious reason of you ca

“You still going on about that old book?” Luke questioned Ethan as they were walking to school. “It’s probably just some old history book or something that belonged to some foreign guy you know.”
“No, I think it’s more than that. I can feel it.” Ethan replied confidently, thinking about the old and mysterious tome.
“Well . . . Can I see it?” Luke eyed Ethan’s backpack, looking to see if there were any shapes that suggested a large book was in there.
“I left it at home, don’t want anything bad to happen to it.” Ethan informed him, to his disappointment.
“Well it’s been what, a week since you found it? I’m free today; can I come over and see it?” Luke asked hopefully, intrigued by it.
“Not today, sorry; I have some chores.” Ethan thought back to the situation at home, “Something

I can hear him again, my father. He’s yelling. He beats us; my two brothers and I. Ever since mother left the beatings have gotten worse. I still don’t know the exact reason why she left, probably just couldn’t take him anymore.
I’m sitting on the floor of my room. Well, actually I should say our room: I share it with my brothers. I’m staring out the window, trying to ignore it. But it’s hard to. I can’t hear what he’s saying, but he’s angry again; it’s probably over something small.
I guess we’re lucky that we’re demons and not humans; demons have better endurance and can heal faster after all. But it still hurts. I shouldn’t worry too much, it’ll be over soon and my brother should be alright; we always are. Or at least we don’t end up in critical condition.
No, this time something seems different. He seems more angry, probably drunk or something, but it’s worse. I hear something shatter, p

I was your first character.
I remember when you first submitted a picture of me onto the internet. You were so happy when you got a compliment on me. Granted, there weren’t many. You weren’t a popular artist. But that was alright, because even one or two positive comments motivated you to draw more.
I remember when you made a second character. His design wasn’t exactly the most original, like, I’ll admit it, my own design. But you were happy with his design. And seeing you happy made me happy as well.
After some more positive feedback, you made another character. She was a little stereotypical, a bit of a “Mary-Sue” if you will, but no one seemed to mind. Because you weren’t bothering anyone, and you were happy.
I’ll admit it. I got a little jealous when you paid attention to the other two characters, rather than I. But I got over it

Ethan continued through the forest. It was at least midday now, though he couldn’t tell how long he had been walking for. His foot hurt very badly, but he didn’t know where he could go for help, or who to ask for help.
He stopped and looked down at his injured foot. Dark blood had dried and caked on his toes around where they were bent upwards. Ethan grimaced and looked away, hoping it wouldn’t get infected.
Ethan limped over to a tree and leaned against it, trying to think of where to go next. He didn’t want to go back to the house where he had heard the two people talking in a different language, as he was afraid they were going to be hostile. He couldn’t go back home; his parents didn’t believe him. He couldn’t go into town, either, because the townsfolk would probably shoot him on sight.
Then he gained a shred of hope when he remembered his friends. Surely Penny and Luke would believe

The hoot of an owl sounded, and managed to wake Ethan up. He opened his eyes slowly, and for his right eye, difficultly. Something seemed to be caked around his right eye, but he managed to look up.
He was lying on his back on the ground, in the middle of the forest; looking up into the sky. It was dark now, the sun had set and the numerous stars shined like gems in the sky. Ethan groaned, his entire body felt sore. Not quite remembering what had taken place, he tried to pick himself off of the ground, failed, and fell. He tried once more, and managed to sit up. He noticed a very strong scent in the air as well.
Something was off, his vision felt odd. The night seemed clearer to him, it was easier to point out different objects. His hand felt as if there was something on it. Ethan raised his right hand to look at it. Once his eyes made out the hand in the darkness, he gasped in horror at the sight of it.
Ethan’s right hand w
