A Shadowed Heart - Chapter 1Darkness. A void so absolute it was alive, its tortured heartbeat measured by the slow erratic splash of water echoing in the distance. Somewhere lost within its bowels a hand reached out in question, but finding only rough, damp stone, it jerked quickly away before tentatively reaching out again. Cautiously a woman slowly pulled herself up but the darkness was so all-encompassing that for a moment there was a feeling of vertigo as her senses struggled to find a reference point.A Shadowed Heart - Chapter 12 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
She didn't know where she was or why she was there. But even as the questions formed, thought gave way to instinct and survival demanded she move. With one hand on the wall she inched her way toward the echoing water, her bare feet feeling out each hesitant step. In places the passage was so narrow the stones tore at her threadbare shift, but she pushed her way through and pressed on.
Thoughts, disorganized and scattered, swirled through her mind until one rose up to tear a scream from her throat. A name. What
Frankie - Chapter 1An erratic breeze blew the leather duster away from his legs before snapping it back again as Garon stood surveying the ally below from his vantage point at the roof's edge. Demons. A Wyvern leading six Brutes, huge manlike creatures capable of throwing a car as easily as most men threw a baseball. Apparently his sister was trying to send a message.Frankie - Chapter 13 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Most of them carried blades, but he knew their boar-like tusks were every bit as deadly as their daggers and in a fight they preferred to gore or crush their opponents rather than stab them. Standing among them, the Wyvern with his slight, sinewy frame looked almost childlike, his blue-black hair falling straight and long to his ankles where a sudden light gust caused it to undulate around his legs in an eerie pantomime of Garon's duster.
He toyed with the idea of fighting them with fangs and claws. The battle would be viscerally satisfying but impractical considering how many there were. He had to concede that this time it would be better

Rosario + Vampire "A Confession and a Vampire: Reboot"
Chapter 1: 'A Confession and a Vampire: Moka's side'
Author's Notes: Please read:
This is a complete 'reboot' of my ever-popular, original fan-fiction story 'A Confession and a Vampire' except it will be somewhat different. This will follow the events of the most recent manga chapters and contains major spoilers from season 2, chapter 65 and onward.
It also combines elements from my one-shot 'Moka's Strangest Day Ever' (co-written with my very good friend and beta reader, Shadowwolf08, from here on fan-fic) minus the part with Outer Moka, who is no longer around in the manga series; so it will definitely be different. Some events will be the same; otherwise it is a completely different story...kind of, LOL. ^_^
My other story is on hiatus right now as I have no idea what to write or how to wrap it up, so this story will have to hold you over, for the time being anyway. Sorry!
Don't worry – I will not abandon it. I still ha

"Greetings and Bienvenue! I am your gracious host, V.V. Argost!", he presents himself.
"Are you sitting comfortably in your seats my dear Weird World watchers?"
Moving back gradually lies Zak Saturday within the soft confines of the living room sofa.
"Good. And are you loyal to senseless violence and gore?", Argost asks.
Zak watches V.V. Argost's Weird World on the big screen, as he enjoys the soft beverage in his hand.
"Even better", Argost smirks. "For tonight..."

The young Saturday and Gorilla-Cat follow Doc all the way through the hallway of the south-west wing of Saturday HQ and into the elevator. With the press of a button, the elevator starts taking the three Saturdays down to the hanger deck where Drew Saturday is waiting for them. Through one of the windows, Fiskerton catches a glimpse of the open ocean over the cliffs reflecting the moon's descending lights just before the elevator had taken the Saturdays below ground.
"Don't even try to argue out of this one Zak", the eldest Saturday challenges.
"For once, your mother and I want to have an anniversary where we don't have to worry about what will happen to the place while we're gone."
"But why a babysitter???", Zak continues.
"Think about it, it actually has the word baby in it!"
"Do you remember what happened the last time we left the two of you alone?"

I drew a picture.
Mostly of scribles and blobs of color, but I wanted to give it to the Lord.
I was told you do nice things to people you love.
Drawing picture was one of the ways my five year old mind could think of.
Once I was done I had a problem,
how do I get the drawing to heaven?
Couple of crazy ideas came to mind,
Mailing it to his house,
But the mail truck can't fly.
Getting on an airplane and throw it out the window by heaven,
gravity would pull it down to the ground and then he couldn't read it.
Tie a balloon to it and send it up,
what if the balloon missed.
When I got old my ghost would grab it and give it to him,
Ghosts can't grab paper.
I finally got on my knees and prayed,
"I drew you a picture, I hope you can see it."

For in the darkness
your smile was
My star whose light

And as my tears
I will brave
my greatest fear.
That before the strike

I will not lose my star
to my fear of loving her.
I will confess my feelings.
No matter what happens.
No matter what it takes.
I am in love with you.
And I know
I always will be.

in one night
it drives me insane!
To open and greet
these ugly little faces
each, requesting the same.
A ghost, a goblin,
a fairy, a ghoul
a devil, with horns and a fork;
a little guy in baggy clothes
his face, half covered with cork...
Bag upon bag
loaded with goodies
they rush, from door to door.
the October of the night
to be replaced by more...
vampires, skeletons, trolls...
Noise and more noise
they take their claims
bearing us, their devilish souls...
But looking into
their sweet little faces
do we not really enjoy it?
My fellow adults
as much as we think
by the name of all madness
we'd like to destroy it?
For Halloween comes
but once a year.
And were we not young once, too?
We went through it all
the whole spooky bit,
when jacko-lanterns eyes
seemed to move...
Behind the flicker of a flame
that was touched, by the night
which secretly, left us 'all' in doubt...
No! Not a night that we dread

Trust is weak
It takes time to gain, and must be handled with care
The smallest mistake can beget a break
Some can ignore the fracture or try to repair,
Others cannot see past it
If the breach is ignored, but the trust still tacit,
The fissures can be multiplied
More cracks can form, and before it is ratified,
It is impossible to see past the ruptures
It only takes one more gash, and then it rends
The trust is broken into pieces, too many to number
Too unobtainable to mend
The reflections of what once was remain
But nothing can be done to make it the same

We live in a world, where most of us are busy pleasing one another, while displeasing Allah. Have you ever wonder, if we chose only and only to fill our hearts with Allah’s divine love how often would any of us get sad, depressed, or end up self-harming ourselves. Well let me break it down to what exactly I mean above. You see, most us are surrounded by people, good or bad, always. And none of us the same and we can never be the same. We often get stuck in situation where we try our level best to ‘fit in’. Let it be school, collage, university, work place or anywhere for that matter. As I girl, a teenager, I always had issues with not being able to keep people longer in my life for some odd reason. They always left, and I would never get along with many. You must be wondering why?
Well, that’s because most of the time I was put up in a situation where I had to change my self completely to fit in. And I wasn’t ready to d

And that highlighter? You never even got it back until the last day of school, just hours before the unthinkable happened and he asked you out.

The cold files up the stairwell in clean-cut lines.
Chaperone of sadness.
And It shines in my reflective eyes.
I hear clocks.
They count down until the end.
Each click scraping gray paint away from me.
Under the surface there's a soft fleshy interior.
I cradle it. I cry to it,
I bring it back to life.
And with cold metal I scrape that away, too.
And I bleed out the aching pain.
I bleed out the hopes,
I bleed out my happiness.
I bleed it all.
Everything I know.
I do this for an end.
I do this so it won't be taken away again.
I do this for something more,
For anything more than this aching hole.
This space inside me that should hold something precious.
I have nothing inside.
The empty flesh rots away.
I can feel the end.
I hear the thudding in my eardrums.
And I just smile.
