Had a wonderful trip up to Cameron highlands with Jing, Jas and Fritz~ Went to strawberry farms, cactus farms, stuffed our faces with hotpot and did shoots. Happy to have a good location to shoot this since I think it'll be my last Myobi ever, getting way too old to cosplay as her now No more loli left in me *sighs*.
Bullied my poor colleague and his sister and friend to shoot this for me on an early saturday morning~ AND THEN THE HEAVENS POURED OPEN AND RAINED ON US. All those beautiful colours and lighting you see in that shot, LIES. ALL OF THEM. LIES.....<3 it was a gray cloudy sky and everything was sad and dull...fell horrendously sick after the shoot Q.Q but I think the photos made it worth it. Please pop by my photog's DA page (once I figure out what his username is and link it) and support him too
Costume is up for sale now if anyone is interested~ AUD 35 for everything minus wig and white skirt~ Please note me if you're interested <3
Finally got a reshoot for this dress, it's been rotting in my wardrobe for so long Thank you Shiro, Kosmo and Hoshiki for allowing yourselves to be dragged out to Sentosa for the photos Was hoping for a sunset shoot, but unfortunately every time I try to get a shoot done for this outfit, something will go wrong OTL Had gray clouds and overcast skies but somehow the amazing Shiro managed to produce awesome photos. On the bright side, at least it didn't rain on us.
Costume is for sale now, PM me if you're interested
Wanna write a little about the dress construction :3 I'm a bigger Cagalli than Lacus fangirl, but I really loved this outfit from Lacus~ I've had quite a few friends make this dress, and I looked around to see how other people did it online. I ended up sewing wire into the entire hem of the skirt to allow it to stand by itself and so I could have the folds hold because of the strange way this outfit just seems to support itself. Super painful project, that and the arm sash is entirely wired to make it stand, with bits of boning in between to keep it up~ Had an army of people help me with cutting glitter fabric and sticking it to form the patterns on the edge of the gown, and stuck about 100+ pieces of plastic jewels all over the costume for the added bling. All in all I think it took about.....40+ hrs of construction but it's one of the costumes I've made that I feel super good about
