I yawned, uncurling myself from my bed as I stretched myself out, letting out a low purr of satisfaction. Sniffing the air, I could catch the smell of bacon cooking, to which I skittered downstairs in excitement of a potential meaty treat.
“Morning mom,” I said, poking my head into the kitchen, “Is tha
Diamond City, part 1It had been a quiet night in Goldenrod City. This was something that Pandora knew well, as she had sat through all of it. Perched atop a rooftop air conditioner unit, the sableye stared across the street at the famous Goldenrod Radio Tower, which she had hoped would be the scene of her latest heist.Diamond City, part 11 year ago in General Fiction More Like This
According to her contact, a local sableye named Cyber, one of the radio stations that broadcast from the tower had teamed up with a local, high-end jewelry store called Diamond City to give away a very valuable prize to a one of their listeners. It was a necklace that had no less than ten sapphires, each surrounded by four diamonds, on a platinum band. Since her trainer would be in the area—visiting a friend in the Johto region—while this took place, her aid was requested in securing it, in exchange for half of the loot. While the gems would most likely be small, Pandora figured the sheer quantity would more than make up for their size, and so she gladly accepted.
But looking up
Fiery HeartThe cold wave hit without a warning. It was supposed to be early Fall, snow shouldn't even fall until a few months later. As Axel made his way through the road he couldn't help but notice how ill-prepared the local forest fauna had been: nests scattered around, unable to resist the harsh invernal winds; burrows' entrances half-buried in the snow; even a few trees had been unable to stand the drastic change in temperature.Fiery Heart1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This
As he saw his breath freeze even underneath his thick scarf his mind wandered back to his own Pokemon, wondering how did they use to stand a weather like this for months. Humans had this tendency to stockpile food and keep a secure shelter all year long, something domestic Pokemon we probably thankful for, but in the wild things had surely been a lot harder for them.
"Hurry up Lin! You're falling too far behind!" he hollered over to his Linoone, who was getting lost into the distance.
"Lin..." the Linoone responded bitterly.

The scene opens with the familiar animated star field. A familiar ship comes into view flying on a tilt. It passes the viewer at high speed. The saucer bares the familiar name and designation of USS Enterprise NCC-1701 but it looks like someone spray painted Sarges ship over Enterprise in red. The view pans over the top of the saucer of the Enterprise to focus on the bridge. Inside are four Spartan soldiers attending various stations. They are the red team from red army, Sarge in the captains chair, Donut at the Helm, Simmons at sensors, doubling for communications, and Griff at the second station next to Donut.
Sarge: Sarges log today. Whatever today is
Simmons: Its a stardate, Sarge. Technically today would be stardate 13-88.5.
Sarge: Shut up, Simmons. Let me do the log.
Simmons: Can do, Sarge.
Griff: Why dont we just go by the normal time stamp? You know, Month, day and then year.

The College Drag, Part 33I slept for about an hour till my stomach woke me up. It was half past two o'clock and I hadn't eaten lunch and was unconscious for breakfast. I shambled my way to the kitchen upstairs and began to root around for anything to eat. I was so hungry that I would just find something to eat and then just eat it then and there. Leftovers from Mom's meatloaf a few days ago, devoured. A microwave bowl full of macaroni casserole, emptied. A foil full of frozen hamburger patties, ripped open, flash fried with dragon fire and chomped. Once I have meat in my belly, I felt better but I was still hungry. I stiffed the air to find another food source and my snout picked up something. I just sniffed my way closer and closer to whatever it was, walking out the door and towards the barn. I was in a half daze and still a little light headed from being sleepy. When I walked in the livestock pens I found Buddy, Buster and Reggie just resting in their pen. I just sniffed around to find where the food was, bThe College Drag, Part 336 years ago in Fantasy More Like This

Chapter 1: Twin Memories
Why do I feel strange...?
This breeze... it's something I haven't felt for a long time...
Why is that so?
How long has it been?'
The girl slowly opened her blood-red eyes as it glistened under the light of the bright moon up the starry sky. 'Ugh... What's...?' She shielded her eyes from the light with her hand, closing them and slowly breathed in the cool air. It was a peaceful night. Insects were chirping, while the wind blew softly as it whispered to her ears and touched her pale, white skin. It was quite cold, and yet, she felt a strange warmth within her. She attempted to utter a sound, but a strange bitterness lingered inside her mouth as if she hadn't opened it for years. It was a strange sensation... Her senses were quite dull, and ye
A Boy, A Tragedy, A New Mother Chapter 2 It was Early in the Morning around 5:32 in Selinas Cave High in the Mountains. The Dragon and the Human Child Bryan who was still in Selinas claw and covered with her wing to keep him warm layed in their Nest Sleeping Calmly. Bryan Started to wake up from his sleep , His eyes were a bit drowsy from what seemed a good night sleep even though having lost everything he cared about the night before but gaining a new Mother of a whole different species he could've never had thought or imagined existed. He Slowly started to wiggle out of the loose grasp of the dragons claw and crawled out from under her wing then stretched out to loosen his muscles and bones. He moved to the edge of the nest then climbed over it making the branches crack this making noise that wasn't very loud but loud enough for the sleeping dragon to wake from her sleep. She quickly realized that her human was not in her claw, she looked around and saw Bryan just gA Boy, A Tragedy, A New Mother Chapter 23 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

Oh man, I hate when I roll in my sleep. I groaned.
Sometimes I roll over and then roll over again in the same direction. This continues till the sheets squeeze around me and I guess I get comfortable. Its just that in the morning Im packed so tight that unrolling myself is a little tricky. I normally type writer it. Wiggle my way to one side of the bed, roll over, wiggle back and repeat till Im out. It doesnt take long, but Im half asleep when I do it so its not a quick process.
Almost there. I said as I rolled across the bed, feeling the sheets loosen up, AHHH!
I misjudged the amount of bed I had left and fell out onto the floor.
Oh, this day is going to be fun. I grumbled from the floor, I can just tell.

The College Drag, Part 13I woke up Monday morning at 6:00 AM to the sounds of two dragons snoring and one that talks in his sleep. I opened my bedroom door to find myself looking at sleeping dragons all over the place, right where they had passed out the night before. It was a sea of pillows, blankets and scales. Wyraach was quite the snorer. His beaked muzzle was wide open and he sounded like a sawmill. Ian wasnt much better. Even with the computer room door shut, I could clearly hear him. Jake was talking about lasers for some reason; I guess he was working out a problem because it sounded like he was in the middle if a rewire. The College Drag, Part 136 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
The output is too low, he mumbled, Maybe if I recalibrate the lenses.
I just shook my head and tried to make it out the door and up the stairs without waking them up. A loud rustling noise can from the living room floor. It was Scales kicking under his covers. I dont know what was going on in his head, but he was certainly giving it all he had. I sl

"But that's just immoral!" Denying all professionalism, Garrick harshly snapped at the supreme god, Keiran, who calmly sat in his cozy, luxurious office seat. "I can't believe you want me to carry out a mission like that!"
With the mildest of expressions, Keiran merely blinked up at the enraged one and countered, unexpectedly cold, "Since when do morals matter here? At this place where we observe and judge humanity? We focus on facts, not feelings. You know that." He added, patronizing.
"Tch, I don't need you reminding me. And I know what I need to do, but there's no way I'm-" Garrick welcomed the coming verbal battle; thus, when his superior rose from his seat, he could feel his own temper rising as well.
Keiran then approached him face-to-face, smirking all the while he spoke. "Look, I love the way you think " A graceful hand took to Garrick's pounding neck, reached to his face, where it departed with a tender caress. "But talking back to your superior isn't a good idea when the

What the heck? I asked myself as I stood up.
Thats when I noticed my hands; they were my old human hands. I felt my face, no scaled muzzle, just flesh. My wings and tail were gone too. I was a human again, but I still had my black jeans, black shirt, red coat and red, wide brimmed hat. They were reformed to fit me.
Okay, this is weird. I said.
I looked around to see I was in a pasture, but not just any pasture. I was back at the camp site for Storming the Farm. All the tents and stuff was around, but nobody was there. I turned around to see Pat and Sam lying on the couches they feel asleep on, but those couches were now in the camp site.
Hey guys, you might what to get up. I said as I kept looking around the area.
Some people are trying to sleep. said Pat.
Stop bothering us you big lizard.
The College Drag, Part 12The next game was on Frontier and I was determined to make this one a good one. Since the teams looked about even, we just kept them. We started at the Chapel. It was a vampire game and it was going to be a memorable one. When I saw him go down from my position in an adjacent building, I returned fire and Pat ducked into better cover. With Storming the Farm over and two weeks before I had to go back to work at the library and back to class, I had a lot of time on my claws. So I did what any guy my age would do, anything that popped into my head. I dont think I made a lot of bad choices, I just may have rushed into a few things. Well enough of that, time to tell you what happened next.
My head felt like crap, a dull ache pounding in my skull. I didnt want to open my eyes. My muscles screamed at me not to move them and my joints popped every time I did move. There was a mild burn in my veins from the adrenaline that was long since gone. Ah, Sams apply named airsoft hangover. Any airsofter get these, the after effects of playing the game. Its even worse after Ops.
Here's My Two Weeks: Part 2 The morning went like normal, with addition of trying to wake up Pat early enough for the trip to the zoo. He didnt wake up till 9:30 and that was because I had to roar into the game room. It was pretty funny, Pat didnt think so.Here's My Two Weeks: Part 26 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
Come on, it was only a little one. I said.
It was loud enough to give me a heart attack. said Pat as he grabbed his chest.
Oh, youre fine. Come on, its quite a drive to St. Louis and we have to get going early.
Okay, but no more roaring.
It was tricky to figure out a way to fit four humans and an 8 dragon into one car. I wished we still had the Oldsmobile, that thing was huge. All we had was my truck, Dads GMC Sierra and a Kia Sophia. We decided that the only way this could work is if I took my truck and Pat, while everyone else rode in the GMC. It was fun to squish back into my truck, its not that bad. I like driving, so ge

The College Drag, Part 30A crack of thunder woke me up. My eyes shot open just as a bolt of lightning struck somewhere about a mile or two away and another round of thunder rolled over the house. Well I dont need my alarm anymore. I grumbled as I got out of bed and preemptively shut it off.
I crawled back under the covers and tried to get a little bit more sleep, but a deafening bang and the power being knocked out made me bolt straight up.
Oh great, a lightning bolt knocked the power out. I said because I saw that my alarm clocks digital display went dark and I could no longer hear the constant drone of the freezer in the downstairs kitchen or the refrigerator upstairs.
As I walked around the basement using my draconic eyesight to see clearly in the low light, I realized how quiet the house was. Outside the pitter patter of the rain on the roof and the rumble of thunder every so often, it was so quiet. No buzzin

Im also going to put this leather bit in your mouth for you to bite down on. For the safety of us, please let me do this.
He held a nylon strap and the bit in his hands as he started to come towards me. I didnt want to have my mouth strapped closed with a bit in it, it just felt like I was being treated like an animal, but I could see their concern. I opened my jaws and let him place the bit in it. Then I closed it as he strapped my muzzle shut.

The College Drag, Part 23As we went to the rings, we passed the jousting area. I heard a large cheer from inside so we made a pit stop in investigate. Well, my summer vacation went pretty well. I mostly played video games, went to movies and played as much airsoft as I could. I really improved my game over the summer and my M16, the Buzzsaw, got even better parts. I love reading human literature and I would love to one day venture into the towns and cities and see what other literature I could find from the remains of the humans that used to live here.
My name is Ash, I'm a sixteen year old bipedal dragon. I'm about six foot tall, my scales are sky blue as are my wings. I also look like every other dragon, with me having two white horns protruding from the back of my head.

A hoarse voice whispered, "Just listen, listen to the larger gears growl as they grind their teeth over their counterpart brothers. forever, just to sway their own shared heart, the pendulum."
"It's beautiful." Said a bi-pedal dragoness, the black-slits in her crimson eyes swam as they scanned an enormous mahogany clock. It's chestnut framework with gold-trimming intertwined the clock's wooden borders to overprotective copper-walls. The clock and walls towered over the dragoness' aquamarine-scaled physique, and over a much larger, opaque dragon silhouette that loomed beside her. It's body textureless, appearing to be the very dragoness' own shadow as their tails swayed sluggishly in unison with the grand pendulum behind frosted-glass.
"The gears, they remind me of us." Said the black dragon.
The dragoness reclined on the black figures shoulder with crossed arms, she vaguely turned her head, but didn't remove her gaze off o
