The reason I wanted to tell you is in case anyone had any other ideas that might be well suited for it, or if you had questions that might give me an idea of more things to include. Some of it will be obvious to some of you, but I've realized over time that things that I assume everyone knows end up being largely unknown by a lot of people.
Currently, here is a portion of what I have:
Lock Transparent Pixels
Alt Color Picking
Multiple Windows for Same Doc
Brush Resizing Shortcuts

Changing the world through musicSomeone recently brought up an interesting point as they left a comment on one of my YouTube videos. They argued that my talent wasn't very rare, and that everything I've done has already sorta been done before--that I'm not really pushing any boundaries or doing anything new. Tone is often lost or misconstrued over the internet, but it seemed to me that the person leaving the comment was insinuating that I was somehow "less" of an artist, or not quite deserving of praise, simply because I wasn't pushing some sort of boundary with the music I made.Changing the world through music3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I have a pretty thick skin, but I'll admit that negative comments bother me. They bother every artist. We do what we do to make others happy, and if we fail in that endeavor, it makes us feel bad. Any artist who denies that is either lying, or not in it for the right reasons (in my opinion). That being said, the guy's comment on my YouTube video... kinda bothered me.
Concerns about PETAClive here. I just want everybody to know that the whole PETA issue is extremely troubling to me and there is no question of me rubber-stamping the issue without me talking to people on every side of the argument and then making up my own mind.I became involved with this project out of my love for animals.I will not put funds into the hands of those who are not the life-loving souls they claim to be.Until I am certain that I am dealing with those on the side of the angels, I am walking with a cautious stride, and ready to take on anyone who hurts the innocent,as I'm sure would all of you.Thank you for your concern for those who suffer simply because they were born into a careless world.Concerns about PETA2 years ago in Personal More Like This

deviantART v999We're working on deviantART v999. So far, it's a lot of prototypes, concepts and color explorations that are waiting for clarity on some technologies coming out of R&D.deviantART v9992 years ago in DeviantArt Announcements More Like This
A lot of you probably wonder where the hell our mobile apps are. I do. Quick answer: They're trapped under a bigger project. It's worth the wait, but we're far overdue on release. The biggest problem has been the Message Center, whose architecture, look and feel, etc. simply doesn't port over to Mobile & Tablets. For these, we need to streamline the incredibly powerful experience of deviantART's message center, so that it can be consumed on smaller screens without having to click lots of buttons.
Activity Feeds are supposed to be the obvious solution. But at deviantART, people love their Message Centers specifically because they aren't feeds. Each item from your +watch list, or Feedback area comes in as an item. Each item must be removed from the Message Center by you. This is great because it allows us to

As mentioned recently, we’re making a bunch of changes to the new Stash...
If you're new to Stash, find out more about it here: http://devbug.deviantart.com/journal/Stash-215498179
The latest changes: Sta.sh is now a separate section of the deviantART Network - with its own header, and its own look.
Here's a sneak peek!
"Stash" no longer exists on your Submit menu, but instead can be gotten to one of two ways:
You can pick "Sta.sh" from your main profile menu.. next to Logout and Settings
Or, you can type http://sta.sh into your address bar
Note: to switch back to deviantART, pick the "deviantART" item from the Sta.sh main menu.

Other than that, the Stash functionality remains much the same - Drag and drop your
GODZILLA (2014) review - The Showa Must Go OnGODZILLA (2014) has hit theaters, and for months (years for most Godzilla fans), potential audiences have been anticipating a return to form for the Lizard King - a film that will revisit the themes of the 1954 original and deliver a brooding, apocalyptic story of destruction and doom.GODZILLA (2014) review - The Showa Must Go On8 months ago in Personal More Like This
Instead, what we got could best be described as a sequel to THE TERROR OF MECHAGODZILLA (1975).
Trust me, I wouldn't begin a review with a hyperbolic, attention-grabbing statement like that without explaining it. For the moment, let us turn back the clock and toss out a quick recap of the film's plot. Obviously, this review will contain a metric crapload of SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS, but you'll complain anyway, so let's get on with this.
After a mysterious event in 1954 regarding the Castle Bravo nuclear test and an unknown giant organism, the story jumps to 1999, where two scientists, Dr. Serizawa (Ken Watanabe) and Dr. Graham (Sally Hawkins) are investigating a massive underground tomb in the

I had been thinking about doing something like this for a while. Outlining why I enjoy certain characters and who better to start out with than my favorite superheroine, Supergirl.
I feel slightly bad that I can't recall when I first learned of Supergirl's existence. After much thinking (and head pounding) my best guess is it was with the Superman: The Animated Series episode Little Girl Lost. Now before I was a Supergirl fan I was (still am but as I say, Kara is easier on the eyes lol) a Superman fan. I know people call him boring, a boy scout, but Superman is the archetype superhero. Personally, I like the idea of an absolute good guy hero so Supes always will be one of my favorite heroes. So as a much younger Mad Man (minus my pen though) I watched STAS and fed my growing love of the DCAU. Then we get to Little Girl Lost and I meet Supergirl.

That's why I uploaded this tutorial today: How to make gems.
How to work step by step:
What materials do you need:

Complaint Challenge Contest!Complaint Challenge Contest!2 years ago in Deviant Events More Like This
We got our complaints out in December 2012. Now, 2013 is about doing something productive with them. I am not going to sit and grumble about my pet peeves. Neither should you!
Anyone who knows me should have been suspicious from the start of Phase 1 because complaining is one of my own complaints. (And you saw this trick last year!) That's right. I complain about people complaining. Silly, yes? Well I decided to do something about it with this challenge.
I hope everyone enjoyed sharing their gripes in Phase 1 because it is time for Phase 2! And Phase 2 is open to everyone, even if you didn't participate in Phase 1, or decided to change what complaint you'd like to address!
Complaint Challenge – Phase 2
The challenge in a nutshell: Pick one of your dA complaints and do something proactive about it. Work toward a solution or improvement in a positive way.

Yay for American Independence. No, really! An odd statement for a quasi-neo-imperialist to say, I know, but if the Colonials hadn't (justifiably) got shirty over lack of representation in Parliament, the British Empire would never have become the behemoth that it did.Yay for American Independence. No, really!2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Thanks to the rebellion/revolution, the British Government changed the way it conducted itself so as to ensure such an incident would never happen again.
Had they not, a revolution similar to that seen in France, 1789, would have very likely occurred on home turf.
The French leadership maintained their "all powerful" façade, and in assisting the American colonies, spent a fortune. This further angered their already irate people, who, in seeing that it could be done, decided to have a little revolution of their own.
So, with the economy booming thanks to renewed transatlantic trade between Fair Blighty and the newly formed United States and with Britain's arch enemy France focused on tearing itself apart, there was nothing to stop the Empire's expansion.

Samhain: Inferno - Intro and RulesDisclaimerSamhain: Inferno - Intro and Rules2 years ago in Deviant Events More Like This
We disavow any insinuation that magic(k), Samhain, and witches/witchcraft are connected to Hell in any way, shape, or form. We are taking significant artistic liberties with Dante's Inferno and with witchcraft in an attempt to create a world that we hope will be interesting and engaging. We are fully aware that Samhain is not the same as Halloween, that being pagan does not make one a Witch, and that being a Witch and being Wiccan are not synonymous. We encourage beginners and curious outsiders to learn more about these religions and traditions and to keep in mind that this game is just that: a game.
Welcome, lonely Pilgrim. You are very far from home.
Tonight is Samhain, the night in which the veil between the world of the living and the spirit world is at its thinnest. It is the perfect time to embark upon a Divine journey to meet and learn from the souls of the Damned. You will need your wisdom and ins

The Seasoned Anime Artist Booth: these artists almost always have 11ft diplsays, usually constructed from collapsible shelves or plastic piping. The artist themselves can sometimes be glimpsed through a tiny gap in their wall of artwork, usually drawing away, only emerging to conclude a transaction, and then quickly receding back to the safety of the artsy fortification.
The Shy Kickstarter Booth
These are the Artists trying to push their very first comic series, book etc. These artists are new, frightened of loud noises, and unsure of their surroundings. They can mostly be seen at sparsely filled tables. hiding in a sketchbook, awaiting to be discovered.

Bruce trained for 7 years (Alfred mentions his absence in Batman Begins) and he sulked for 8 years between Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises. Between that, and including the short time in Dark Knight Rises in which he wore the cowl, Nolanverse Bruce was only Batman for about a year, tops (Joker's line "Let's rewind a year" tells us this).
One. F**king. Year.
"Caped Crusader" the Nolanverse Batman is not.
He is "Bat Temp".

But secretly, we would like a crossover with our other TV Shows we watch. Because next to Supernatural, we all have our other series we watch and love. And have we not thought about what it would be like if Daryl Dixon met Dean Winchester? Well, here is your chance to mix Supernatural with any other TV Show you would like! Any TV Show goes, any situation is possible, any place, any time and any character.
