Flu Shots (Spain x Reader)
Oh God. Oh God. Oh God.
The mantra you had began a while ago repeated in your mind while you opened the heavy door of the brick building in front of you.
Flu shots this year were being administered in an elementary school gym that was quite a ways a way from your house, but nonetheless, you had decided to get one when you had heard from multiple news stations that the season would be a particularly bad one.
And so, you followed the directions papered onto the walls to the gymnasium, finding its open doors quickly, after you had smelled the sterility from the hallway over.
You took a deep breath in, before walking into the large, brightly lit room. It wasn't that you were deathly afraid of needles, no, but no one was totally complacent to the idea of a nurse jabbing a syringe into their arm. And what if you got a tough nurse?
Shivering at the thought and pushing it out of your mind, you walked over to the fold out table in front of the many stations, each of them paired wi

Morning light slid into the room through the window, bathing everything in a warm yellow glow. “Hey there,” you greeted.
“Buenas dias, mi tomate.” His voice had that morning rasp you loved so much. He brought his hand up, his thumb grazing softly over your cheek. He leaned in and touched his lips to yours, letting his hand trail back down to your waist and then over to the small of your back. You smiled as he pulled away as little as he could and rested his forehead on yours. “What would you like to do today?” he asked.
You made a face as you thought about it. “This.

Boom. Left foot back.
Boom. Rock on the right.
Boom. Left foot again.
The beat of the salsa began to continue, zooming away faster than you could practice to, and you couldn’t rock on your left heel fast enough, as you held out your hands and danced with an imaginary partner that you pictured looked a lot like your Antonio, who was out getting groceries.
You tightened the ponytail you had tied your hair back in and tsked to yourself, walking over to the stereo-radio player you had received as a gift from your mother ages ago and never, ever gotten rid of. It was the Holy Grail in this house, Antonio used it to play the Spanish radio and listen to the soccer games, Romano and Feliciano used it to play their soft pop songs whenever they came over, Francis for his romance songs, Gilbert for his punk and metal, and you?
You used it for dancing practice, whenever nobody was around.

Pushing a curtain out of the way, you looked out of one of the windows in the front of your house, sighing as you saw nothing but white. It had snowed last night, and guessing from the glare on the sidewalk, no one in the neighbourhood apart from yourself had decided to put salt out in front of their homes.
Usually this wouldn't have bothered you, on days like these you could stay in and relax with a cup of something hot, but you had already made plans to go see your friend Matthias today, at his house. And that meant you had to go outside.
Glancing at the clock, you realized that it was 11:45 already, and you had promised to be at the home that Matthias and his four best friends, all from different Nordic European countries, shared by noon.
Lucky for you, they didn't live too far of a walk from your home.
You scampered over to your front closet, grabbing the biggest pair of winter boots that you owned, and lacing them onto your feet. You zipped up your thick (f/c) snow jacket,

Muskets whistled past your ear, just inches from hitting your head. A explosion rocked the ground and you fell to the ground. The howls of hit soldiers ringed in your ear but your eyes continued to search for a certain someone, General Carriedo. After the first wave of soldiers had fallen, you had lost sight of your general and the two other men besides him, General Beilschmidt commander of the Prussian troops and General Bonnefoy, a Frenchman.
"[y/n]!" A voice called through the haze of the battle and you moved towards it but a shot took you down.
You screamed and clutched your leg but managed to return fire. An intense pain seared through your leg and you fell to the ground, trying to stop the flow of blood. Strong hands lifted you up and you looked up to see the familiar tanned face of General Carriedo, His green eyes, usually filled with carelessness and a childish joy was now covered with a film of worry.

Gilbert was volunteering at the local retirement home for the night with his brother, Ludwig, who went around and visited the residents at least once a week. They had been there for at least 3 hours already, talking to different seniors. At the moment he was sat on a chair, listening to a 90-year-old man, Russell, ramble on about his time in the air force. He persisted to drawl on even though he was half-asleep. Glancing at the fellow speaking and his brother who seemed oddly interested in what he said, Gilbert excused himself to "get a drink of vhater".
Walking down the extremely sterile corridor, he heard an odd noise coming from down the hall.
Chh-Chh, Chh-Chh, Chh-Chh
Gilbert furrowed his brows, following the whir before it suddenly stopped.

He walked closer to the doorway, where he finally peered in.

"Where did you even learn to do this, Lovi?" You asked Lovino, who sat behind you, hands holding your hair.
"Bella taught me, I guess. When I lived with Antonio. She wanted me to do hers." His reply came out muffled, due to the hair tie he held between his teeth. "And don't call me that!"
You chuckled, leaning your head closer to your boyfriend.
When you had invited him over earlier, you definitely hadn't expected this to happen. The two of you had been sitting comfortably on your couch, when you had complained about how your hair kept getting in your face. Lovino, being one of the most irritable people you knew, quickly got annoyed with your grumbling and offered to braid it for you.
You now sat with your back to him on the sofa, with his nimble fingers twisting your (h/c) hair into a smooth plait. You smiled at the slight tugs you felt on the sections that the Italian was weaving together, relishing in the feel of his gentleness.

Yeah it was normal for everyone to have scars, from points in their life, but the scars you had? They were more than just scars, they were parts of your life you got the most grief out of, or the parts in your life you hated.
Of course not all your scars people could see. You had scars on the inside too. Every time someone would tease you, even if it was a friend a scar would tear your heart apart even more.
Over time, this had caused you enough grief, that you had slowly began to get sick, and the doctor’s didn’t know how to cure this sickness.
This sickness was called depression, and even though there was a cure for depression the doctors, or anyone really couldn’t bring back that smile, they had said you were too far gone, that the depression had taken over your life for good.
But Antonio was, and is an exception, to that theory. Antonio was one of your best friends in the whole wide world, and every time he was with you, your hea

It was a well-known fact that you loved Emil Steillson very much. His quietness, his hot-temper yet cool personality, and his vulgar pet puffin were all things that you readily accepted, but there was one thing about him that really bothered you- his love of black liquorice.
His affinity for the gross, in your opinion, dark treats was endless, he almost always had a packet in his pockets or bag to eat at some point during the day.
Many times he had attempted to give you a few bites of the piece he was chewing, but alas, it was to no avail. The salty, almost tongue-numbing Nordic "candy" that he usually ate definitely needed an acquired taste for enjoyment; Emil had grown up eating the stuff while you had turned your nose when and if it was ever presented to you.
Even the less salty allsorts and wheels that he rarely consumed in a venture to make you try some sort of the stuff didn't suit your fancy, to his misfortune. It wasn't that he needed you to enjoy it, he loved you regard

All that mattered was the feel of his mouth on yours; the tension that he was roughly releasing onto your lips.
