Sadist - Chapter 8Sadist - Chapter 82 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
It was a normal night. Zehnder was walking around, Esther was following. So far nothing too exciting had happened. They were walking in silence, and there weren’t many people out either; it was only about eight o’clock.
They were passing by the park, and Zehnder stopped. He motioned for her to stay quiet, and then entered the park. Staying out of the light, Zehnder looked around. Esther followed, trying to not make any noises; such as stepping on a dead leaf.
Zehnder looked over towards a park bench; someone was over there. He pointed at the young woman sitting on the bench, signaling that she was his next target. Esther expected him to simply go up behind her and smash her head in, but instead he walked away. Esther followed, confused, but interested.
Zehnder walked a little ways into the woods; far enough that a scream would be hard to hear, but still close enough to the park that it was easy to get to.
“I’ve seen that girl at the park before with her boyfrien

It’s late, and dark. There are hardly any people around, but still Zehnder walked around like he normally does. Esther is following him, joyful that she can finally be with him. Zehnder walked silently, and when he passes by anyone he only turns his head slightly to look at them; they never notice. He seemed to be looking for a worthy candidate.
After walking around for about an hour and a half, Zehnder finally sees someone that he feels like killing. The person seems to be young, maybe still or just out of college. They were walking a large dog, a German Shepard.
Zehnder muttered under his breath “What the hell kind of idiot walks a dog at this hour?” He began to walk across the street; they were still a little ways away from the dog walker. Esther began to follow him, but he turned around “No; you wait here.” Esther stopped obediently and waited.
Zehnder reached the other side of the street and began to approach the man with the dog. The man didn’t

The tall man stood there, the yellow glaring eyes on his bandanna staring at her. He didn’t say anything, just looked. Esther saw him turn his head slightly, looking at the dead body of Ron, and then back to her. Finally her took the cigarette out of his mouth and flicked it to the ground.
“H-how long have you been standing there?” Esther asked. The tall man stared at her; she was beginning to have a small doubt that he even could talk at all. But then he uttered a short laugh and responded.
“About the time you started shattering the bones in his left hand.” He laughed again, and then was silent. He stared at her, as if waiting for something.
“Well?” He said impatiently.
“Huh?” Esther looked up at the tall, intimidating man.
“You got my attention. What do you want? One does not simply follow around a sadistic being without wanting something.” The amusement had gone out of his voice.
“Well, do you remember me?

Kage watched from the shadows as Scollex snuck up on, and then killed a few more people. It was interesting to watch, even though Kage felt he wanted to do some of the killing as well. He didn’t interfere, because he didn’t want to make Scollex angry or irritated.
Scollex began to move on, and Kage followed.

The human screamed as wings emerged from Scollex’s back and into the air. Before they had a chance to run, Scollex’s arm morphed into a claw and he grabbed them. Morphing his other hand into a claw as well, he slashed the human across the face and neck and dropped them to the ground.
Scollex’s wings folded, and his claws changed back into hands as he watched the human bleed out and die on the ground. This was the fourth kill of the evening, and he was contemplating whether or not to go out and find another unsuspecting human to stalk and kill.
Kage was perched on top of the streetlamp, watching the bloody scene. After the human was dead, and he n

There had been many strange deaths recently, and there were only a few survivors who were willing to talk about it. Most of them spoke of an odd demon who wanted to play ‘games’ with them. Others could only remember a large monster, but the fear from the situation had caused them to block out the memory of what it looked like. The police were determined to catch these dangerous killers, but so far they only had one lead to their whereabouts. Someone had called in to tell them that a creature with an odd mask had been spotted going into a building. The person did not say who they were, but simply told them this fact and hung up.
This building mentioned was under construction, but was nearly finished so it looked like a normal building. A team of four cops had been sent to investigate, as there was no real evidence that the person seen entering the building was the killer.
It was late, and only a few cops had stayed behind at the station. There were three of them. Tom Anderso

In the darkness of the early day, Esther walked quickly. It was almost twilight, the sun seemed like it would emerge from the horizon in a little bit. She sped up, that memory playing in her mind. That regained memory, and the memory of Zehnder the last time she saw him.
Esther looked around; but found no one. No cars, no people, not even a stray cat.
She looked around for anything; any clue or sign at all. Still, nothing. But then, finally, she found something. She saw a small spatter of blood, and then another, and another. She followed this trail of blood to a small parking lot next to a convenience store, only to be greeted by a gruesome mess.
Blood was all over the place. Esther couldn’t even tell how many people there were, they were all broken up. Blood, flesh, and gore covered the ground, in many places you couldn’t even see the asphalt underneath. Faces had been smashed against the wall, arms had been torn off and tossed away, and bones had been crushed and crushed

As he closed the door behind him, Zehnder looked around the main room of the large abode. Looking off to the right, he saw some movement. Poking his head slightly into the large main room was a dog.
The dog was a moderately-sized German Shepherd. The tags on his red collar jingled slightly when he turned his head towards Zehnder. One gold tag was engraved with his name: ‘Maximus’; though he goes by Max for short. His fluffy tail was down, almost between his legs, and his large brown eyes seemed to be filled with worry. Although Max had been around Zehnder for a while, he was still anxious and scared of him.
Zehnder looked around the room again, and, seeing that Max was the only other one there, began walking towards him. Max whimpered, his ears going down slightly. He turned and trotted away quickly, down the hall and out of sight.
Letting out a barely audible growl, Zehnder followed. Max soon turned around and walked

Author’s note: If you have not yet read Sadist and do not want spoilers, then I’d recommend reading it first. This contains direct spoilers for Chapter 9 and Chapter 11, and would take out some of the fun from reading the other chapters as well. If you haven’t read Sadist, then there’s a link to it in the description.
This first person view of Zehnder is not from the whole of Chapter 9, it starts at the point where he is in the middle of killing the people at the gazebo, but ends where the chapter ends. This is also a practice of the present tense for me, so don’t expect that to be great.
Grinning, I glare at the last person free of my tendrils or death. She seemed to be in a trance of fear, but hell, that happens a lot when I stare at people.
She starts to move again, coming out of her trance like state. I watch as she fumbles to get something out of her purse; maybe I’ll give her a chance, at least she hasn’t run away like that last pa

It was such a magnificent day. I lay slumped against a old cherry tree that was in full blossom. The fair petals danced around me as I relaxed on the soft, shimmering grass. It was early morning. The sun was warming the land. The fawns and their mothers were still frolicking at the base of the hill that I was sat on. My view was so amazing. I could see the glistening of the lake where the fawns played, the trees were sleek with fresh morning dew, the smell of pine coated the area. The breeze was gentle like a mother's kiss, it felt so sublime when it splashed against my skin. In the distance I could very visibly see the mountains that loomed over the land. The bugs hummed around me, not trying to be annoying but to simply get around. The sky was still adjusting to the new light emanating the world. The sky was a light orange with a splash of violet at the hem of the Earth. Everything was

The sun was in the sky, now fully out. Esther and Zehnder had been standing there, watching it rise. It was nice to not have that hatred and those lies between them anymore.
“I guess I should be going now, work and stuff.” She started into the woods.
Zehnder turned to look at her.
“See you again, then; after work, as usual?”
Esther smiled at him.
“After work, as usual.”

Max whimpered. He was lying on the bed, same as when Esther left. Even though he had been alone on the streets, he didn’t like being alone now. He cocked his head to one side, and then the other; his slightly large ears flopping to the side as he did. He stared at the door in anticipation, worried.
Max kept having the awful feeling that she would never return again. He didn’t like being alone, and didn’t want to be. He rolled over on his back and stared at the door; trying to make it open through pure will.

In the deep color of the night sky, the bright moon shined down; surrounded by hundreds upon thousands of stars. The luminous moon’s light glistened off of the surface of the lake, causing it to shine like precious crystals. This lake was on the outskirts of a city, surrounded by a large park.
In the city near the park, a figure moved swiftly along the rooftops. The method he was using was parkour, and he was quite skilled at it. His large, cat-like claws indicated that he was not a human, but a demon. Clad in black pants and hoodie, along with white gloves, a black and white scarf, and a black and white mask; the demon made his way out of the city and into the park.
The demon slowed slightly when he entered, but still made his way through the tree branches using diligent parkour. He finally reached the edge of the sparse forest, if one could even call it that, and was now looking at the large body of water before him.
Perched on a tree bough, his breath caught slightly as he gaz

It was once again night. It seemed like another beautiful night, the stars were numerous and the moon was bright; occasionally hiding behind clouds only to reveal its stunning beauty once more.
Someone sat atop a building near the edge of the city, looking out towards the large lake. They were surrounded by bloody towels and used bandages. It was Kagekao, he had managed to make it to the city and find medical supplies in time to dress his own wounds.
It had been around a week since they were attacked by the shinigami. He could remember each scene as if it had only happened moments ago. He could remember holding Sadie in his arms, and then watching as she drifted away from him forever.
Kage was alone now, completely alone.
“It’s such a beautiful night, Kage. So beautiful . . . I wish I could go on more walks with you on nights like this but . . .”

I guess to tell you what happened I’ll have to start from the beginning. It’s not like I’m going anywhere, even if I wanted to.
I was shopping with my girlfriend, Sandra. She enjoyed fashion and clothing more than I did, to be honest I didn’t care much for fashion choices at all, but I loved her so I went shopping with her at clothes stores.
We entered this particular store, it was rather large. Popular music played all around, and as expected there were clothes everywhere. There were also plastic mannequins, three kinds. There were the mannequins with no heads, mannequins with faces painted on them, and a single mannequin without a face.
I personally find the ones with faces painted o

“Ugh, so fucking bored.”
In the city, a lone man walked. He wore a black trench coat, along with a black hat, dark gray shirt underneath, black pants, and a silver tie blowing in the wind. He was unusually tall, and his stride was brisk and quick. Perhaps the most unsettling thing about him, besides his inhuman height, was the painted bandana on his face, which bared a frightening, sharp-toothed grin with piercing yellow eyes. Poking out from underneath the bandana was a lit cigarette, holding up the fabric enough to see a little bit of black blood and sharp red teeth.
This man was known to humans, by urban legend, as ‘The Pretenderman’. Most of the population didn’t believe he existed; that didn’t bother him. Although ‘The Pretenderman’ was more of a formal title, he was known by others like him as Zehnder.
It was getting late, and the sky above the city was streaked with red, yello

Nat shifted in the sand and Rolf slowly got to his feet, mumbling something to Nat as Ed raced passed them towards the water. Eddy’s eyes burned into mine and I couldn’t help myself from glaring back at him. I didn’t like him; he was annoying and loud and ignorant. It was hard to believe someone as smart as Double D would hang out with someone like him. Why? Why had he spent so much of his time with them since he moved to the cul de sac? Why wasn’t it me who he had spent time with? Sure we had done some things together but not enough to make a lot of memories with. So badly I wanted to change that fact. I wanted to have memories with Double D, without anyone else getting in the way of that. I had failed once already with Justin, I wasn’t in the mood to lose to Eddy, too.
“I know that,” Eddy snarled, his hands clenching into fists at his sides.
My mouth dropped slightly and I briefly heard Double D question him about it. He knew? How

Dib sighed sadly as he looked at a picture of Zim, standing as proud as he could despite his short stature, hands on his hips and grinning, obviously pleased that his picture was being taken. He was in disguise; the obviously fake black wig and purple contacts normally would have made the teen laugh, but he couldn't now. Not when he hasn't seen the irken for nearly two years...
He closed his eyes as he remembered the last time he had seen him.
It was ninth grade, about halfway through the school year. In an attempt to make school more fun and perhaps revive some crushed spirits, a school dance was held. It was nothing formal, and you could come in whatever you wanted as long as it adhered to the dress code, that is. But no one paid attention to that stupid thing anyway.
Zim seemed somewhat interested in going, most likely because he wanted to learn more about Earth culture or maybe play a few pranks on some unsuspecting humans.
Dib wasn't sure, but he did know he wasn't going to

Near nightfall, two people were driving home. They were both men of around twenty years of age, and were roommates in an apartment. Discussing random thoughts that came to their minds, they were both content.
“Anyway, I think I’ll go check it out tomorrow.” One of them said, he seemed a bit younger than the other. He had a normal body type and was a little on the short side, his hair was dark brown; same as his eyes. His name was Jonathan.
“I haven’t decided what to do tomorrow, well, besides work of course.” The other responded. He had blue eyes along with dirty blond hair, and was a bit more fit than Jonathan.
“Well maybe you could . . . hmm, let me think” Jonathan began to ponder what his friend could do, something besides sitting in front of the television or computer all day.

You slowly opened your eyes, you were in your bedroom, when did you get in there? You sat up and looked at yourself, you were in your dress shirt, how did you change? You then blush, did....did Claude change you? You got off your bed and saw something on your desk. You walked over to it, there was a small box with a note on it. You picked up the note and read it.
Dear Lady _____,
I am out doing errands, I will be back within a hour. Open the box, I found something that I thought suited you.
You smiled, Claude got you something. You opened the small box, and gasped. It was a necklace, it was a (f/g) necklace on a golden and silver string, it was beautiful. You picked up the necklace like it was made of glass. You heard the main door open, and just a few seconds later, a knock came on your door, Claude used his speed again.

My cry echoes from the deep,
How will this be the way?
When all I see is an endless abyss?
I call out and cry your name,
But all I feel is fear and regret,
I should have held your hand,
But all you did was turn me in.
I cry out as I watch the flame,
Rising higher and higher,
Closer to my end.
I whisper now to a god I knew,
Praying for salvation,
But all I know is that you left me,
Dangling me by a thread of love,
That was barely there in your heart.
The fires burn as they touch my feet,
All I can do is cry,
As the fires of the abyss consume me
