I'm letting go of the sights
Of a future with you
With your Marlboro Lights
And your bottles of booze

Because death and desire
Seem to go hand in hand
And while we burn like a fire
We still fall with the sand

You were curing my lonely
I was making you worse
And I could pray to the holy
That you could live through the hurt
But I was making you bitter
I was making you drown
Between white lines of glitter
My love was holding you down

Once the future was bright
When I missed all the signs
Of your Marlboro Lights
And your tabletop lines

But you tore me apart
And we brought out the worst
From inside our own hearts
Nothing cuts like the first

You were curing my lonely
In the dead of the night
And I could pray to the holy
That you could live through the fight
But I was making you colder
I was killing you slow
Between a rock and a boulder
My love had to let go

Once we dreamed of a future
And we wanted it all
Thought with stitches and sutures
We might survive the fall

Now the bruises and breaks
Have gotten too bad to bear
No matter what you might take
You smell the death in the air

So I'll give you the freedom
As we're losing the fight
And I'll watch you leaving
With your Marlboro Lights

Drawings on paper constructed of hope and stardust
Gathering memories long ago lost and forgotten in the void of night
Line up the pieces

Gathering pictures of friendship and journeys far away
Put the pieces together forever knowing that they will be entwined
Linking the memories

Caged is the bird with the pen and the paper of your heart
Casting shadows of memories of another time and another place
Onto the pages
Most of this belongs to a beautiful singer named Lizz! I own nothing.
This is from Namine's Theme, it's fan-made lyrics!

Implode was created with a vintage watch face that has been cut into a unique broken looking cross section, antique brass gears, and other parts. All parts are recycled from old and unloved watches, cleaned, and soldered into place using lead-free silver bearing solder, rather than glues or resins found in many craft items. Each piece at A Mechanical Mind is hand designed and assembled by an artist, and each piece is one of a kind, and never to be reproduced exactly.

Implode is 24mm wide by 28mm tall and comes on an 18" antiqued silver cable chain with links measuring 1.7mm. A lobster clasp secures the necklace.

Assemble is an organic metal sculpture created with many different parts taken from old and disused watches. Her parts include brass watch train gears, balance wheels, cogs, and other recycled watch parts. Her outer structure is not premade by an outside company, but assembled from scratch out of watch winding gears and balance wheels. Glue is never, ever used--these pieces are soldered with lead free silver bearing solder for maximum quality and lifespan. Assembly is one of a kind, and will never, ever be reproduced exactly.

Find out more about the hard work that goes into these hearts here: [link]

Assemble is 21mm wide by 23mm tall and comes on a premium 18" sterling silver round cable chain with links measuring 1.5mm and connected with a ring clasp.

Horizon is made from the parts of very old watches (some from 19th century pocket watches) that have been disused and given or thrown away. His parts include many different brass gear train gears, a face wheel, and an antique european balance wheel. Rather than just being glued onto a chain, his parts have been stripped from watch movements, cleaned, and hand arranged into a new lifeform. All of his pieces are soldered on (never glued and resin-ed) using a silver bearing lead free solder which will last indefinitely. He is not a mass produced watch movement, but a new and completely unique in the world piece of unique art, hand designed and assembled by a human being.

Horizon is 19mm wide by 19mm high and comes on an 18" antiqued silver plated cable chain with links measuring 1.8mm and connected with a ring clasp.
