Carefully thought out, a delicious nothing; an endless journey,
It's paradise set upon a world in motion; it's paradise swimming through a cobalt ocean.
Complete comprehension will rise within time, during this effect of natural animation,
It's paradise under the black sun; it's paradise on the brown grass.
The clouds are larger than life--the whole world is in a fog,
Although it's tempting to remain asleep under these comforting sheets of constraint.
I breathe it all into my body until I become the vapor that I was,
Countless visions will mend during a rare, yet familiar realization..
Black sand below me and above me; all I can do is swallow it whole,
Confused thoughts will soon clear, then choose to randomly assemble here.
As I eat every grain until I am a part of the earth from which I came,
Where the sun sets in my trail, never failing to rise up again and guide.
Wonderfully unexpected, a delicious mystery; an emotional feast,
It's paradise in a major movement; it's paradi

Life is an endless battle. The more eager and sophisticated you struggle, the more you will prevail. But if you stop fighting, life will overwhelm you and push you down! It's hard to get up again, when you're lying on the ground, held down and discouraged by accumulating problems. So never stop fighting and instantly annihilate every problem that you encounter, one after the other! The further you get, fighting through that ocean of problems, the higher you score and the better your reward.

Why Cant You See Me by DaniWhy Cant You See Me by Dani4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Look at me in her damn reflection.
Take a picture of me
and what do you see? Her.
Why cant I have my own body?
Why cant you see me for who I am?
For what I am? Im not her.
Dont you get it? Cant you see me?
Just because Im in her body
doesnt mean I dont exist as me.
If you saw me as I am
would you like me more?
Would you look at me differently?
Im petite with long brown hair that reaches my low back.
I love cute clothes, dancing, partying, stuff like that.
Im not her but you look at me like I am. Why cant you see?
I am not her and she is not me..
all that we have in common is this damn body.
For some reason Im stuck here. Im sorry.
Look at me in her damn reflection.
Take a picture of me
and what do you see? Her.
Im nothing like her.
Shes nothing like me.
Why..why cant you see me?

I was freezing, but then again I was always freezing, cold, and shivering.
I haven't had a warm meal from as long as I can remember. I was a little hungry so I bit a chunk of an icicle. It wasn't very hard to chew, I kind of got use to it after a series of trying it out.
I left my frozen burrow, noticing small icicles hanging around my entrance. I hated it when icicles blocked my entrance.
I had to break all of the icicles which was pretty much a workout. When I got out I noticed that it was more freezing than usual I started stumbling around until I found a
huge block of ice. When I got closer I found it getting colder and colder.
My instincts told me to stay back, but its presence near me dragged me closer and closer. I thought I could hear a tiny voice, but then I thought it was my imagination. I hesitated, but it was clear in my head saying "come closer closer " then there was a strange devious laug

I met a man today...
his eyes were tired,
and he seemed lost.
How I wanted to help him,
How his eyes stared off into space,
How his affliction shouted to me...
He spoke out, and the words tore at me,
and as he spoke, so we began,
repeating his words, of the why & how.
Our eyes met, and silence became us.
my heart pounded, as he breathed heavily,
tears fell...out of anger...out of fear...
I met a man today,
his voice was low and solemn...
this man in the mirror.

Love is what you hoard.
In a box is where it's kept,
Under the bed where you have slept.
Your smile is of greed,
Many will bleed.
You cling to a jar,
So many there are.
Inside are the hearts from your past,
Loves that had never last.
One more you add,
She cries half mad half sad.
] Knowing what she can't have is her pain,
Strength is what she gains.
Now she finds peace in solitude,
Her heart is glued.
The pieces once again all back,
Thieves come to take it but they are smacked.
None shall touch,
Her past is her crutch.
She shall not forget,
Because she wants them to regret.

in this house of smashed windows,
she lies on the old, pine floor
and half-listens to the lullaby
weaved by the endless sorrow.
All her tears are hanging in the air,
just like pearls
and the silence wraps her tightly
like a veil.
painted in the blue and gold
of the late autumn afternoon.
There, she stays,
trapped in the glitter
of the spider webs and mist,
shined by the ailing sun.
but does she lives or has she ever lived,
no one knows.
Crucified by dreams,
this cracked china doll is waiting
for the tenebrous night to fall.

when the dark tides will rise
and the waves will carry me
far, far away...
on the tar painted waves,
with crimson crests,
under the pale shine
of cold skull moon...
In boat of bones,
I’ll travel alone
and hear no call
or cry from back home
on the alabaster bed
with black silk softly
covering my head…
On the silent sea,
in silent night,
following the path
of extinguished lights,
over the water,
to lands unknown
I’ll travel in dark,
to some distant shores…

where time stood still
along with my heart
stood my soul and my will
Thought I was right
misdirected once twice
stopped playing pretending
stopped being so nice
Went back and looked
over life I had spent
in the blink of an eye
to see where it went
Mirrored the image
in my transparent mind
took a wormhole of hope
through the vortex of time
Landed in a garden
of spontaneous light
crossed over the bridge
of dreams in the night
Drove straight to your arms
soon regret filled with fear
I forgot for a moment
we hadn't met in that year
Four years to early
what harm could there be
I'll enjoy stolen moments
take in all I see
As my watch stood still
and I saw it all again
signs missed in the beginning
now shown in the end
I saw the deviantion
the moment you turned
from a loving young man
to a bridge that had burned
I tryed to show love to you
to look the other way
to close my eyes and believe
all the things that you'd say
I'd seen the end of it all
and knew it was true

it just slipped through my fingers
spilling from the broken container
like the blood from a broken heart
and it took a piece of who I am with it...
Down, down to hell went that part,
Clear, it dripped on the floor
and was soaked up by the boards,
together with the echoes
of my cries...
Frustration and anger and despair
mixing with the tears running down,
wrapping as one into these liquid pearls
soon following the path and disappearing,
but burning, scorching the flesh
scarring the marks on my skin, on my face,
wherever they traced,
turning it into a map of pain...
We should not suffer for what we can't regain
but tell it to the broken soul?
Tell it, while it shudders between its weak walls,
knowing it could have been different,
it should have been different,
but will never be different, anymore...

The Disaster That Shook The World The Disaster That Shook The WorldThe Disaster That Shook The World1 year ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
That was what the headings on the newspapers had said. Oh, how we didn't imagine the pain and suffering that disaster would cause. In one slip of luck, in one simple miscommunication, the world was plummeted into WWV. We had four previous World Wars before this one, but it wasn't as big. Wasn't as destructive. Everyone wanted the money, the greed in which it sparked inside the politicians and every day persons was growing, and soon, the whole world would be left to be nothing but a wasting mass, causing humans and non humans alike to struggle for survival, but of course, two years after the WWV started, eight military leaders came to power.
They believed in the long forgotten ways of Elemental Magick. Incorporating the eight elements of the olden days they created powerful weapons and divided what was left of Earth into eight quarters. Some say that they overcame a long journey to realize that they were the chosen leaders. Each Leader
The Woman, Flame, and Lovers The room was lighted with nothing but a single candle. The flame flickered as the breath of a young woman met with its hot chemistry. It was as if the flame and the exhale danced before parting ways. Obviously the two had an attraction, but it had to come to an end else the flame would wither away. The flame stood mostly still when the breath said its last goodbye. Was it lonely and had no energy without it's love's embrace? One could only imagine so if the little love story between the two was real. The Woman, Flame, and Lovers5 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Noticing the flicker, the woman moved her head so the flame wouldn't have to fight the temptation of love once more. She could sympathize with the small fire that melted a never ending stream of wax. She could understand the pain of having to part with her love for the good of each other. The flame and she had lost part of their spirits from this pain, which is to be expe
