Now we are onto part 2.
This episode starts with Duncan complaining about being put on shunting trucks and coaches. Freddie, Mr Roberts, Mr Hoskins, Scootaloo and Featherweight see this and try to get Duncan to see sense. Duncan, still complaining and blaming William, heads back to work. We cut to Peter Sam, Sir Handel, Pipsqueak, Sweetie Belle, Miss Ravens and Mr Hawkins, and the 2 engines are... Not complaining, but saying that they are really tired. Also, in this series, Sir Handel actually doesn't mind extra work, and has learned from mistakes in previous stories. And this is why I like this characterisation of Sir Handel better, then EnterprisingEngines93's version of Sir Handel. I'll probably get to that in a later review. Anyway, Rachel and William are talking in the workshops, and William explains to Rachel that it had been partly his fault of the accident. Hey, nice little twist on what normally happens in kids shows.

Narrator: 6 mounts had passed since Sir Tophem Hatt and his family had come to see Toby and Flora. Some days, neither of the trams were needed because their was no work for them to do. Flora had to take Henrietta and Valentine, while Toby had to take what was left of the trucks. One day, the manager of the railway came to see Toby, Flora and their drivers.
Manager: The workload is barely enough for 2 engines to take care of.
Jeff: We are well aware of that, sir.
Rachel: We sure are.
Toby: We know this.
Flora: (Quietly to Toby) Oh. What's going to happen?
Toby: (Quietly) I don't know sis. But whatever it is, I hope we are going to be Ok.
Manager: But we still need one of the trams here. It's important that we get whatever little work done that we've got to get done.
Flora: What's going to happen to the other one of us?
Manager: The other engine will be sold to another railway that we can trust can take good care of steam engines.
Rachel: Oh goo

Narrator: The next day, Peter Sam and Sir Handel had come to the sheds. Sir Handel helped Rheanes onto his truck, and he was taken to the works. Skarloey also made quick friends with him and Peter Sam. The younger engines felt excited as it was their 1st full day on their new railway, but also felt pains of anguish too as they had to leave their friend behind yesterday. Though they felt a bit worried, they managed to stay cheerful.
Skarloey: How are you feeling about being here youngsters?
Peter Sam: I'm ok. How about you Sir Handel?
Sir Handel: A little jumpy, if you get my meaning.
Apple Bloom: No sweat Sir Handel. You and Peter Sam will be just fine.
Babs Seed: My cousin's right. No worries.
Scootaloo: Yeah. You 2 will settle in well.
Sweetie Belle: Sure will. And here comes the owner and controller now.
Narrator: Sweetie Belle was right. The owner and controller came around the corner.
Owner: Hello. You 2 must be the new engines. We were never act
William Takes Flight reviewHey guys, TAMF here. Early in January, my friend :iconatsf: released a big crossover, and I helped him out with small details. And I think that it's worth a review because he has worked so hard on it. I'm going to split each part of the crossover into separate stories to make it easier to comprehend, and the maximum points that each part can have is 10. Part 1: William Takes Flight.
The story starts in 1969 where all the engines are working off their wheels and the 6 foals are working off their hooves. Bare in mind that this was before Duke was found and during that period of time, and when Rachel and William had numbers 8 and 9 respectively. And a quick note, Mr Holden (:iconatsf and Miss Ravens (Myself) had these 2 engines named after them. Mr Roberts, Mr Hawkins, Mr Hoskins and Mr Thomson are :iconSodorMatchMaker: (James), :iconThomasandMichael: (Mike), :iconSkullzproductions2: (Dustin) and :iconTTL1990: (Mitch) respectively. Later, Skarloey, Apple Bloom and Mr. T

Part 3 now. Here we go!
This episode starts with Peter Sam feeling depressed about Rachel's and William's departure. He, Sweetie Belle and Mr Hawkins talk to Henry and Applejack, but singing to the coaches, clearly isn't what's on Peter Sam's mind. However...
"(Sad sigh) Ah well still I shouldn’t complain. My Rache would never approve of it. And Neither would Granpuff."
Hey, that shows a lot of maturity, that's pretty good.
Later, Sir Handel is showing depression as well, as he and Pipsqueak talk to Gordon and Rainbow Dash about missing Rachel and William. And again, Sir Handel shows some maturity too. Rainbow Dash admitted that she lost some friends even as a filly, and that already made Sir Handel feel a little better. My goodness, if the main characters were the ponies, I think :iconatsf: would make a really good Rainbow Dash episode.
We cut to a few days later, Duke is found, and Sir Handel and Peter Sam forget they are upset becaus

Narrator: A few years passed since Skarloey left for the works. Since then, Sir Handel and Peter Sam had been given buffers, and 2 new, friendly diesels came to the railway. One was actually a new member for the railway, the other, a member of the Blue Mountain Quarry Company Railway. The new number 5, was painted black. The visiting engine, numbered 10, was painted green.
Engine 1: Hello there. Name's Rusty.
Engine 2: And my name is Rachel. What are your names?
Sir Handel: I'm Sir Handel.
Peter Sam: And I'm Peter Sam. Welcome. It's nice to meet you Rusty and Rachel.
Apple Bloom: Hi Rusty, Rachel. Ma name's Apple Bloom.
Scootaloo: I'm Scootaloo.
Sweetie Belle: My name is Sweetie Belle.
Babs Seed: And I'm Babs Seed, Apple Bloom's cousin. Together, me and the other fillies make...
All 4 fillies: The cutie mark crusaders! Yay!
Rusty: The what?
Apple Bloom: The cutie mark crusaders. We are on a quest to find our special talents.

Buttercup: So, I don’t exactly remember what happened, and I don’t know what happened to my parents.
Lighting Dash: Well young Buttercup, you can stay with us.
Scooteroll: Indeed. It will be fun having another daughter around. And I’m sure Scootaloo won’t mind having another sister.
Scootaloo: I’d love having another sister! (To Buttercup) Say, me and the crusaders are going on a camping trip with Applejack, Rarity and Rainbow Dash this afternoon to Winsome Falls. Do you want to come?
Buttercup: Oh yeah! I’m one for camping trips Scootaloo.
Scootaloo: Awesome! Let’s go to the clubhouse and find out if Bubbles and Blossom can come.
(They get off their chairs)
Lighting Dash: Right after both you brush your teeth.
Scootaloo: (Sighs) Yes mum. Come on Buttercup.
The Nightmares Begin reviewPart 5 in 3, 2, 1, go!The Nightmares Begin review2 months ago in General Fiction More Like This
This episode starts with the engines working without Duke with them. Fred is complaining that there is more work, while Sir Handel is happy that he doesn't have to deal with him. I would deduct a point under normal conditions, but given what happened in the last 2 parts, I can give this a pass. Peter Sam is grateful that Sir Handel actually stood up for him, but he, Miss Ravens and Sweetie Belle try to remind him that Duke is still their Granpuff. And I have got to give props to :iconatsf: here. Peter Sam and Sir Handel are acting just like how real siblings would act in this kind of situation.
Sir Handel still is cross, and after a quick reminder of what happened when he went to help his 'unmentor', the little engine replies that he was just thinking of the passengers. Then Sir Handel leaves.
Peter Sam: Oh dear, this is getting out of buffers.
Sweetie Belle: And hooves too.
Miss Ravens: And hands as well.
Despite this being a sad part of the story,

Part 8. This is where things get really dark. Ready? Go!
This episode starts with everyone at Mr Holden's house in Farquar getting ready for their long mission ahead of them. However, some of the ponies and humans want out of the battle, and then Fluttershy steps in and says that this mission is to rescue William and Rachel. I'm giving a point for Fluttershy's bravery. And this is her getting angry done correctly, not insulting her friends reasons for living! Yes, I'm looking at you, "Putting Your Hoof Down".
Everyone quickly agrees to go forward with the mission, but Fluttershy's throat is a little sore from shouting as she isn't very used to that. After saying she is ok, the group goes to bed. Meanwhile, Duke is attempting a dream in which he actually intends for Luna to visit him. If this actually becomes canon in MLP, I would be very happy. Giving a point for that.
Luna does appear, and is surprised because this was the 1st time that

Part 4, let's jump to it!
This episode starts with the foals, Mr Holden, Miss Ravens, Mr. Roberts and Mr Hawkins all talking about how depressing it is to see the MSR family falling apart, and even mention that Sir Handel terrorised the coaches into behaving. Goodness gracious, I swear I did not see that coming. Next day, we are introduced to the diesel from earlier, and the diesel is Fred. Nearly everyone greets him warmly, but Peter Sam has mixed feelings about meeting the newcomer. He briefly explained what happened in the last 2 parts, and Fred actually feels sorry for Peter Sam. Whoa, hang on, Peter Sam mentions that this has been going on for years. Well, I guess that works. Someone I know got into a fraud with someone else I know, and they still haven't forgiven each other after 4 years. Fred kindly offers to help Peter Sam with his work, and Peter Sam agrees to it. Glad to see that even Fred has a heart and puts aside his laziness when someone is in

This episode starts with Edward, Fluttershy and Mr Hoskins down at the harbour, and then 3 friends of the driver and pony come off the boat. They are Haddock, Tintin, and their little puppy dog Snowy. After the most adorable moment ever where Snowy jumps into the cab to get a pat on the belly from Fluttershy, BTW, giving a point for that because it is just that cute!
Mr Hoskins and Fluttershy introduce Edward to their friends. TinTin reveals that he, Haddock and Snowy want to visit the Skarloey Railway engines, possibly to see how Duke is going too, considering they did help to find him in their last appearance. After the gentlemen got into the cab with them, Fluttershy and Mr Hoskins explain the problems down there with Duke and Sir Handel, and about the loss of Rachel and William. TinTin and Haddock feel sorry for their friends, but then they get told about the document from part 2. They start to think carefully about it that there could be mo

Ok. Part 6, here we go!
This episode starts with Peter Sam still in a depressed state over his family breaking apart. He desperately wants to apologise to Duke and he wants both Duke and Sir Handel to forget that the whole fraud even happened. Sweetie Belle and Miss Ravens comfort the little engine, and then Peter Sam brings up that Mr Holden "seems a bit out of character" when working with Sir Handel and Rheanes. Heh, it's not often that the show actually breaks the 4th wall like that. BTW Sammy, that's Pinkie Pie's job. But I did chuckle a little, so I'll give that a point.
Miss Ravens brings up the nightmare from part 5, and Peter Sam and Sweetie Belle get worried.
Meanwhile, at a "factory plantion railway on an island 20 miles away", Mr Cooper from part 2 is yelling at Rachel, William and another diesel for being a tiny bit late. And he hits them with a sledge hammer, causing the 3 engines to cry in agony. The torcher goes on every day, William getti
