The WhistlerThe postman made me uneasy, though I could never put my finger on why. I wasn't afraid of him but there was just something about his presence that set my back teeth on edge. He kept to himself; was always whistling, early or late and it always seemed to be the same repetitive, mysterious tune. I'd had always envied others their ability to whistle. The best I could produce was a discordant half-blast that was more spittle than sound. I didn't envy him though. For I knew, as did all the little kids in the village, that it was bad luck to whistle at night. The Whistler5 years ago in Horror More Like This
I lived in a shanty-like neighbourhood that was called The Alley. This alleyway was really just a dirt track that connected several tiny houses, crowded together in a small space. Everyone knew their neighbour and their neighbours' business, which was avidly discussed on many an idle evening, across back fences and front stoops.

With my elbows propped up atop the windowsill, my hands cup my face as I stare out into the world that is slowly being devoured. Light fading, the sky stained with dark blue ink, colour dissolving into darkness. Only the playful melody of the blackbird resounds across the night, giving us feeble and desperate humans hope that spring would soon arrive once more. Even in the time it takes for the smile to pull my lips at the sound of the hidden bird, I feel the world become darker and darker, the bird's calls becoming less and less frequent, until the world now lies silent. The warm glow from the lamp in the corner begins to shine bright in its reflection on the glass in front of me, making the fading universe outside even less visible. It is nice to feel the silence, that emptiness that feels so whole, that fullness that makes me feel so empty.
It’s odd being in the house alone at night. During the day, there is always some sort of amusing kerfuff

It was now near dinner time, and I sat myself down, with a cup of tea, next to Hanji who was still as energetic as before.
She turned her head towards me and smiled, laying an elbow down on the table followed by leaning the side of her cheek in the palm of her hands.
"What?" I mumbled under my breath annoyed at her actions, I noticed her smile wasn't one of happiness or joy, but of mischeviouse and trouble and I cocked an eye brow, waiting for her answer.
"Oh nothing...just been hearing rumors...that's all..." The women sang in a truanting voice.
My head perked up just a little bit but I rolled my eyes somewhat before reaching down at the cup in front of me and bringing it up to my lips.
"You know I could give a rats ass about rumors...." I huffed out before taking a sip of the warm tea.
"Oh, but it's not just any rumor~ it's about you and (y/n)" she retorted while a small gleam appeared in her eyes.

For eighteen years later,
we still close our eyes;
whispering words of yearning at a golden object,
demolishing a crimson flame,
and emitting white specks into the lucent air
But maybe we shouldn't
For these wishes we make for countless years
Serve as reminders:
That no one in life has everything,
But at least we have something
Even if it's just an intangible sentence

You are currently sitting on the couch, flipping through channels. Nothing good is ever on at around 3:00pm. Once in a great while maybe, but today is a big NOPE. Your boyfriend Antonio is working in the tomato fields right now, he should be coming in soon to take a small nap. If you didn’t have your dang period you would be out there helping him, but no you have to be in pain bleeding through an awkward place. You hated this time of month with a passion, you counted the days until it was over.
“Ahh, Hola (f/n)!” Antonio said as he walked in the door. “I missed you helping me.” You smile at him then go on Netflix. “Are you okay chika? You seem out of it.” He says as he sits next to you on the couch.
“I’m just fine.” You reply while looking for a new anime to watch.
“Hmm? No, I think not, but I know a way to make you feel better.”
“Antoni-” He starts to rub your inner thigh very slowly, making you blush.

She had noticed it since this morning. When she served him breakfast, he didnt smile but thanked her and remained silent while they ate. Later, as he got ready to go to the meeting, he had an odd air about him. She watched him as he had slipped his jacket on and you could see a look in his icy, cerulean eyes. The blue seemed a deeper shade and the ice in them was more than just frosty or cold. Even when she kissed him good bye and wished him luck as he left, she didnt see the look disappear. When she thought about it, he seemed a lot like this yesterday too.

The world meeting was, as always, incredibly loud and somewhat annoying. Germany had given up hope in getting some sense to the people. Your (e/c) eyes wandered around the room and you couldn't help but feel slightly amused.
In what other meeting would there be a man making pasta, one is sleeping, two are fighting for God-knows-what reasons and everyone else were shouting to get their voice heard.
Though soon you noticed that you weren't the only one amused by this comical scene. Russia, also known as Ivan Braginski, had a small child-like smile on his face. He was completely relaxed, leaning back in his chair, watching as the chaos before him continued to expand.
He must have felt you eyes on him because soon he locked his gaze to you. His small smile widened to something quite creepy looking and you nervously smi

All I see is a girl, pale as the moonlight,
The ghost of a heart once pure white.
But when I lift my hand, she lifts hers too.
Who is this girl? She's blurred into ash hues.
There's something, though, that screams out loud:
A sparkle in her eye proclaims, "I AM PROUD."
A twitch at her lips, a fourth of a smile
Surfaces from a decade's exile.
A burst of a rainbow, a ray of sunshine,
'I'M GOING TO LIVE," is today's headline.
So now, I finally see me.

By the time highschool ended I had already become some sort of urban legend. There were rumors of many incidents that involved me, directly or indirectly, that made people believe there was some kind of curse around me. The truth is I never did half the things they swore they had seen me do, and the other half was altered and exagerated. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the status and the power that came with it: some feared me, some worshipped me, many hated me, but all of them respected me.
Now, all legends have some truth to them, and my case wasn't at all the exception. I was always seen as the beautifulest encarnation of corruption, some kind of sick fallen angel. I posessed a number of intrisic qualities that awarded me with that mysterious and unholy condition. My mouth was lust and hatred at the same time, my eyes were just like dead sweetness, my voice was so harsh and apathetic that every word sounded like the beautifulest song. Both men and women wanted me, but not many were screwed

It's raining today.
I can hear the slosh of water on car wheels outside my window; see the racing droplets on the glass that shields me from the cold outside.
Although it's Autumn it feels more like Winter, but I suppose that's just because it's typical British weather.
Not that I mind too much.
I shift my weight to make sure my legs don't die beneath me; I'm sitting on my bed, gazing out at the wet street. Someone walks by with a rather dull umbrella and I wish I owned an umbrella painted like a rainbow.
Another car drives by and disturbs the puddles in the road, the reflections now distorted until the water settles once more.
I always find it odd how when it rains, the sky is a pure white tinted with light grey where the clouds have created a blanket in the sky. It makes me wonder if I reached out and parted some of the clouds, if I would see the blue sky still, or if more white would appear.
I guess I'll never know.
My thumb is rubbing the smooth curve of my mug that rests between m

I will have to look under and see
If I'm going to get him to stop messing with me
In the back of my mind I start to wonder
Just how he actually got under
How he really came to be
Why of all people he chose me
Despite myself I'm feeling flattered
It's the first time I've ever mattered
No one stays around for a long enough while
To actually see me laugh and smile
He has been here since I was five
Maybe he actually cares that I'm alive
I must know what he looks like
Even if I'm terrified
With as much courage as I can muster
I lean over, my thoughts a frenzied cluster
I reach down slowly, my shaking hand
To move the blankets, I look and-

Become not beast.

She chokes on nothing
"Oh, how I've waited, my sweet," He whispers, "For the day we would finally meet.
I'll protect you. They can no longer hurt you with their cruelty and deceit."

She falls into the black

And in the end
He lived for you

And the damage they do

I already know of my untimely death
I will be young when I take my last breath
I'm not scared, it doesn't make me cry
It just makes me try harder to touch the sky
It's hard to explain, kind of like a dream
Those visions of the future that I so often see
I don't know how long it will take, if I'll make it to college
I don't know if I'll finally learn all of the wanted knowledge
I do think I'll be married, I can just picture my home
A library with cozy chairs and a map that shows where I'll go
It's not gonna stop me, I'm going to see the world
I don't care if I die a little girl
There's too much to see, too much to do
To worry about little things like what I'll go through
It's sad in a way, but happy just the same
I'm glad they don't listen to the words I say
I feel bad for not warning them, not telling of the grief
But then again, who will really miss me?
I won't be sad, sitting on my cloud
Jumping and singing my songs, finally clear and loud
I won't have child

Why to everything, everyone
Why even question it?
Why aren't we done yet
And why are we here?
Why to be happy
And why to have fear.
Guess that's the one thing
To stop me from leaving here
But why go
If there aren't any tears?
And, looking up to the sky
I wonder why I'm not a cloud
Or blue ink spilled very high
That never really came
And maybe nothing is real
But the one word plaguing my mind
From my head to my hands to my heels
There's only one word to find.
Why look, why run
Why open up your eyes
When there's no sun
When someday you're gonna die?
Why live if everyone already knows
Are only growing up to die?
