Planet Orion, second planet from the main sun in the Pi3 Orionis solarsystem...
He sat patiently and waited in the shadows outside the children school building. It was a pyramid shaped complex, in the middle of the Boeotian jungle. Tall trees shadowed most of the buildings, but further away towers of shell white concrete and glass reached above the roof top of the dense forest. He envisioned the inside of the building in his old mind. It was difficult to hold the thoughts, they floated away and got dimmed. So old. So far from home. He knew that she was in there.
White ceramic-surfaced tables stood in neat rows in the bright, sunlit classroom. There was silence and anticipation in the air. A little girl was standing in front of the class. On the ceramic screen behind her was a drawing of a triangle-shaped object with blue flames shooting out of its back, next to a colourful sketch of a planet with only one m

"Mom, get down!" Adrenaline had greeted Lauren once again with a kick in her gut, and an explosion of butterflies in her stomach-the bad kind. Lauren vaulted forward, and when her shoes came up, they impacted Wood's jaw, "What the heck are you tryin' to pull here, Woods?!" There was hate in her eyes, she was starting to hate him... never had she met such a... jackhole. He was like a little human Megatron! Woods had popped back up, and responded with strong fist to her right cheek, which in turn sent her spinning, and to the ground. Lauren spit out the blood, chaos was ensuing, and she had lost sight of Optimus. In her mind Lauren had seen the Prime in a fight with Megatron, he skillfully spun backward, then from a distance, he gained momentum in another blow to Megatron's gut. Megatron recovered quickly, and swung his right leg out. Optimus ducked, under, and with a jumping-round-house kick, he had knocked Megatron down again.
"Lauren!" Melissa called.
Lauren then realized it was Woods

"Fang? Are you here?" She watched as a stone and scraps of metal flew off the bridge into the peaceful blue sea before her. Lightning looked up to the broken bridge and found Fang standing by its edge. She knew she wouldn't jump in. but she needed to make sure she still wouldn't do anything reckless.
When lightning made her way to the top and caught up with fang. Fang was sitting down. Her legs over the edge. Gazing into the sky. Her eyes never closed her face never changed. fang was in her own little world.
"Fang? You alright?" Fang smiled from the sound of her partners voice. "Yeah. I'm fine sunshine. No need to worry about me."
"But you've been acting so distant since we arrived here. You aren't Ok. Are you really?" Fang sighed, dropping her head down. Light place one a

She shifted in her seat a little as she props her feet on the table, staring at the television screen that sat a ways away in the living room area of the hotel room. She managed to wash the ash off her face, but soot was still embedded into her black leather jacket, and the soles of her boots. Ignoring the ash scuffs in her preferred blue jeans, and the burned gash on her right thigh, she felt better. It wasn't good, no, but she felt better then she did this morning.
News of the explosion was all over Raptor News Network. First they showed a recording of the building burning, then a few snap shots of the survivors. Images of people she knew. Snow comforting a crying Serah in the back of an ambulance. The eyes of Hope not looking so hopeful into the flames of the crumbling building. Sazh holding little Dajh close as their eyes linger on the fire. Then the camera comes back to a blonde woman standing in front of the left over ash covered rubble

They were walking down the street. The moon was shining and her eyes were sparkling of excitement.
"Today is a holiday! And we want Chappy candies!"
"We? I certainly do not want some stupid Chappy candies!"
"But they're free! And I like to wear costumes! It's part of the tradition, isn't it?"
"Not in this country!"
"So? It's still a human one. And it's fun."
"I. Am. Not. STUPID! You idiot!"
Ichigo easily shove off her punches. She's crazy.
"Anyway, you're not even disguised, I don't understand why you're still whining."
"I'm not whining! And I don't do dress up. It's girlish."
"Not at all!"
"It is! Just look at you."
"What's with me now?"
"You're wearing a Chappy suit! It's absolutely ridiculous! The whole point of Halloween is to frighten people. Not to make them laugh!"
"Are you saying I look ridiculous?"
That sounded bad.
Uh oh. Troubles ahead.
"Fine! I don't need you to accompany me everywhere.
FF-13 FLIGHT part sixThe sun soon rose over the ridge of the mountains and into the small dank cave, beams of sunlight hit Fang's eyes forcing her to wake. She frowned and buried her face closer to something soft and warm, still more then half asleep she had forgotten the she was in a cave. An hour pasted by and the cave soon filled with soft morning light, along with a soft warm water breeze. Fang yawned softly and finally opened her eyes, she was firmly curled up close to Lightning and being held in return. This brought a smile to her face and a gentle blush to her cheeks. Lightning must have fallen asleep at some point in the night while trying to keep the two women safe, more than forgivable, for even the strong solider was still human. Fang sat up a little, her body healing over a good night of rest and comfort in Lightning's arms. She wrapped Lightning up with the blanket and made her way to the cave opening, it was still early enoughFF-13 FLIGHT part six3 years ago in Drama More Like This
Swallowed Pride - 02The female soldier couldn't tell anymore how much time had passed yet, but one thing was sure: On Grand Pulse, periods moved at a different pace. The sky remained in blazing colors for a felt eternity, illuminating the canyon and water with a golden ray. The high weeds gleamed mysteriously and Lightning felt the everlasting warming beams of sunlight on her skin. It made her think of Cocoon and the amazing sundown she could watch from the window of her house in Bodhum every evening; it never stayed on for long and once the flaring disc disappeared behind the horizon, she looked forwards to the next dusk. The colors the mood, everything about that daily event had something that comforted the soldier, a feeling when the actual sunlight hours came to an end the dark blanket of night sky would embrace her and put her to sleep. The pink-haired woman looked up, arched her neck and wondered about how many hours they had travelled until they finally arrived at the discussed safetySwallowed Pride - 023 years ago in Romance More Like This
Cocoon Meets Pulse Chapter 5Another week went by which, for Lightning, was the same as the week before. She was once again buried under tons of work. The only difference was that Fang was constantly disturbing her thoughts, making it hard for her to concentrate on her job. She was reluctant to admit it, but she had enjoyed having breakfast with the Pulsian woman. From what she had seen so far, Fang was her complete opposite. She was extroverted, quick tempered and full of herself, had a wicked sense of humour and wore her emotions on her sleeves most of the time. I don't really know if this letter reached you or not. You know because you practically live in the middle of a dessert in Nevada. Anyway, mom and I are doing great here in California. She still won't tell me why we had to move away from you. But I have a theory on why. With some research I have come to the conclusion that you maybe part of a secret government organization that may put your family in danger, hence you relocated us to California for protection. I completely understand and forgive you for the many days you have been absent from my life.
Still, I would like you to visit. You could disguise yourself as a hobo and we'll meet at a Starbucks. It's only a state away. I don't even know what you look like. All I have is a Halloween picture of you and mom. You're wearing a funny grim reaper costume and mom is ordinarily dressed. I guess she was handing out candy that holiday.
Anyway, I guess you would like to hear about us. I just turned 11 a week ago and I got the yo yo

Those are the only words that are being processed into my mind right now as everything around me was a giant canvas of swirling and blurred colors that would've been a beautiful painting, if it wasn't for the fact /why/ it was like that. My shaking, (s/c) hands were outstretched before me in an attempt to slap away all of the branches and foliage that managed to get in my path as I ran. My legs felt as if they were on fire with all of the adrenaline and blood that was pumping through them, but none of that mattered to me anymore. The intense heat and pain from my legs only encouraged me to move even faster than I was moments ago.
Encouraged me to escape death itself.
A loud crackling noise was heard not to far behind me and a blinding, blue light struck the tree only a few feet away from my head. The blast made me recoil instinctively and it felt as if a root came out of the ground and grabbed my ankle, pulling me down. My mouth opened to scream but no noise

A high pitched ringing blares Lightning deaf as her eyes make an attempt to come back into focus. The ground cold against her cheek as time seems to slow. She shifts lifting her head, the echo of the surrounding chaos almost mute against her blared senses. She pulls herself up to her knees, shakes her head. Looks at her hand when she feels the warmth of blood, returns it to her left temple then looks at it again.
Then shoots her gaze up as her deafness zeroes out to screaming. Time resuming its chaos as people shove past her, both away and toward the flames of the stadium that was now filled with countless corpses or those who were not yet a corpse.
Lightning stands, her eyes lingering on the very scene that laid out before her. Struck with horror as men, woman, and children alike burst out of the remnants covered in flames. The heat burning their flesh like a torch on meat as others rush to them and try to kill the flames. Some collapse before

They'd come far and wide just to see him perform,
for him to be careful just wasn't the norm.
He'd flip and he'd flop and then roll on the ground,
he'd do crazy stunts when the crowd was around.
The smile on his face, it was painted for them,
he loved to get laughs, all the eyes were on him.
But when he was done at the end of the night,
He'd go home to his room and turn on the light.
For at night there were ghosts and shadows to haunt,
he'd hear voices call out, it's him they would taunt!
If only they knew what his life really was;
a tormented clown - wouldn't that give them pause?
