Day at the museum II
The involuntary mimic between woman and statue makes for a brilliant humorous image.
Half and Half
Clever image, both the background and the man seem to be disassembled and halved.

One day's waltzI recently visited an exhibition by Franco Carlisi, a selection of photos from his 'Il valzer di un giorno' (One day's waltz). One day's waltz1 year ago in Art Features More Like This
They were images from sicilian weddings, marginal notes to the celebrations, voice-overs, stolen instants, sometimes full of poetry, sometimes ironic, emotional surprises all of them. I think it was the first time I was not bored to death looking at wedding photographs
Here are some of the images. Today I celebrate my 13th wedding anniversary so the day seemed a good one to share this selection

Not everyone's Teiko uniforms are ready just yet, but we wanted to get a feel of things for the proper shoot so we did this for practice. It gave us a chance to try out our wigs and makeup and junk to see what we need to improve on for our actual cosplays.
The following portraits are the full-sized versions of what was squeezed into the above banner thing

PE: Watercolour and saltWatercolour and saltPE: Watercolour and salt1 year ago in Art Features More Like This
Watercolour painting provides us with fantastic possibilities to create various textures. They can be achieved in many different ways with use of many different side components and equipment - in this article, I'll focus on salt textures. It usually takes time to get a handle of it - like everything else - but the outcome is definitely worth it.
Water and pigment
The three factors that determine the effects are the amount of water, amount of pigment and amount of salt, with the two first being the harder part. The more water you use, the more time it takes for the paint to dry and the more time the salt has to work - therefore the pigment will be pushed further away and you'll get bigger, paler spots between darker pigment borders. Less water will get you smaller, star-like
WCS Cosplay Preview - SetsunaHello, and sorry that it took so long. I had so much to do for my university... the heck, I didnt even notice that I got a Daily Deviation!!! Thanks so much for everybody who wrote me a comment or gave me a fav, I will try to response as soon as possible <33333 All of you are sooo greatWCS Cosplay Preview - Setsuna3 years ago in Personal More Like This
So, besides that, lets go straight to presenting the cosplay:
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
We decided to make this version of Setsuna cause uniforms really suit me ;D and we made lots of them in the past, so it was a good basis to start. Although the uniform may seem quite simple it was really hard work, especially getting all the metal pieces clean handled.

Rinoa Heartilly WIP One month later... Hi again! Thank you all for your support here and on my cospage ♥Rinoa Heartilly WIP1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Today I’m bringing some WIP details about my Rinoa Heartilly cosplay^^ She is my second fav female character from the Final Fantasy series (along side with Garnet), so I’m happy that I finally decided to cosplay her. I was really insecure about it since I think Rinoa is so expressive and has very specific facial traits... But last year I casually found a good piece of fabric for the duster and arm warmers on sale and I was like 'okay, maybe I should really consider about doing this once for all'.
Here’s a close-up of the fabric
I made the duster and arm warmers back then in February because I had some free time and planned to do the rest of the costume slowly during the year, since I would only be able to use it on Spring time. Next convention was on April and I was planning to cosplay Aika with her winter uniform (that I did last year but never g

Final Fantasy X-3?Japanese Trailer to Final Fantasy XFinal Fantasy X-3?1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster has just recently released in Japan, but the latest buzz about Spira doesn’t have to do with remastered visuals or soundtracks — but a third game potentially in the works. In a recent interview, scenario writer for Final Fantasy X Kazushige Nojima commented about his enthusiasm about working on a possible “Final Fantasy X-3″.
While this may have been a one-off comment about desire to work on a game that continued the saga of Tidus and Yuna, fans who have purchased the side novella “Final Fantasy X-2.5″ that takes place after Final Fantasy X-2‘s conclusion have discovered new story details that supposedly set up a new game. What we’ve heard so far is that Tidus and Yuna’s relationship comes to an end, with the heroine vowing to fight a newly-awoken Sin.
New illustrations of Tidus and Yuna by Tetsuya Nomura have also appeared
First Portuguese WCS preliminaries - WE WON!HI GUYS!! QUICK UPDATE AND HAPPY NEWS!!!First Portuguese WCS preliminaries - WE WON!2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Me and Manon-Blutsanguen are the first Portuguese representatives for WCS 2014!!! I´m SO SO SO HAPPY, its like a dream come true!
This happened on 12 of October at Iberanime OPO (Porto) in the north of Portugal!
So, we started to work on our cosplay like one month before, we had almost all the materials and the sewing part was mostly quick to do, so i didnt stressed much, and because the rules just went online like 2months before...we had to delay the beginning.
I had the Costumes and the Skit planned for about 2years, so i invited Manon-Blutsanguen, explain my idea and she agreed to do this with me!

What do you think your favorite city will look like in one hundred years?
Architect Rem Koolhaas has completed a “vertical city” complex in Rotterdam, bringing a new style of multi–purpose skyscrapers to the city skyline. Bennett Stein wrote about the new buildings for KCRW’s Design & Architecture blog, calling the creator “the Godzilla of architecture.”
Here’s an excerpt from Stein’s essay:
