“10! 35! 27!”
“Do you even know how to play football?” Arthur let up on his crouch a bit, questioning Vivi’s knowledge of the sport. She held the ball in front of Lewis, who was waiting for Vivi to snap it to him.
Across the two were Arthur, Del and Jett, who formed the other team. While Jett seemed pretty pumped to play this game, Del barely squatted, her dull yet distrusting eyes falling on Lewis. Mystery had his paws spread out, ready to sprint next to Vivi.
Having to return to work the next day, the group decided to regroup on this Friday night with a light game of football to kick-start the weekend. So they all drove down to the park, finding a big enough field to play their game.
Vivi shrugged, lightly shaking the ball. “Hey, who is the quarterback here? I get to make up the numbers!”
“Alright alright.” Arthur rolled his eyes, lightly shaking his head. “Pretty sure that’s not quarterback.

That it's the new 'in thing'
You talk about how nice I'd look
If only I weren't thin
But will you come to realise
That it really isn't right
To say that we're not big enough
And take our name in spite?
You may have gotten insults
From some idiotic men
But when you call us skin and bones
You're just as bad as them
To say that big is beautiful
Is fine and true to say
To say that big is better
Is to think a hateful way
Nothing's better, nothing's 'right'
We're built to look unique
To say we're pretty, big and skinny
That's the peace I seek
It's easier to get along
When we're not starting fights
To see the wars of big vs skinny
Aren't such pretty sights
So lets find a happy medium
To stop this pointless hate
Let's have respect for everyone
No matter what their weight
And when we all abide by this
We'll see what happens then
A world full of less hate and fear
And more friendship again

I'd like to tell a story
About someone I used to know.
Just a little something
That happened long ago.
It's not something of legend
Or of greek mythology
But just a sad little tale
Kept in my memory.
The first thing I remember
Are her brilliant green eyes
And the way they used to shine
Even on the dullest of nights.
Then there's her firey hair
That cascaded into curls.
And her snowy face and freckled cheeks...
She was a very pretty girl.
But sadly she didn't think so
Due to the words which others said.
The evil comments and snide remarks
Soon polluted the poor girl's head.
Days went by and it grew worse
I'd find bruises on her skin.
She'd cry when I'd confront her
And she'd say it was nothing.
Her chair at school stayed empty
For days and weeks on end
She'd stay at home, all alone
And pray her heart would mend.
Then one day I got a phonecall
It was her mother on the line.
"I've got something to tell you..."
And then she began to cry.
You see pe

A Boy and his Dragon (DenmarkxDragon!Reader) 0The sweet scent of the early spring danced across your face, awaking you from the deep slumber you have been in for the coldest winter months. Slowly, you peeled back your eyelids to gaze about your cave, the gentle rays of sunlight stinging your lovely (e/c) orbs with their gentle glow. After blinking a few times, your eyes adjusted to the sudden brightness that you hadn’t seen in a few months. Your large jaws parted and a deep, needing yawn escaped them, a bit of smoke also mixing in with the air. Unfortunately, since you had been in deep slumber for awhile, it would take some time before your body would be capable of breathing fire again.A Boy and his Dragon (DenmarkxDragon!Reader) 03 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Yes, you could breathe fire. This was because of one reason and one reason only; you were a Dragon. Now, just because you were a dragon didn’t mean you were huge, oh no. You were actually rather small for your kind since you were only three decades old, still a baby to most of your kind. In fact, you were probably the size of a cow stil

But I don't know what to say.
You're lying there all dressed in white.
In a hospital this can't be right.
I told myself a week ago, "She's only 22".
But after being told at lunch,
"Her hours left... just a few."
It should be me lying there.
Completely dressed in white.
With the flowers sitting by my side.
And cards addressed "with hope".
The doctors told us you can't wake.
More just like you won't.
You were always stubborn even before.
I should have driven there myself,
But told you to go instead.
You argued and when I was about to go,
Left for me instead.
Perhaps if I'd just got up and gone,
You'd be here for me,
Gazing over with salty tears
With me lying in that bed.
He wasn't drunk, or on drugs,
He walked out "ok".
I want to find the man
And see if he would beg.
Beg for time to turn on back.
Beg that he had looked
Beg for me to kill him now.
And swap his life for yours instead.
But nothing can bring you back home.
Or free you from this pain.

"Yes sir. And I even told her about those two." Emma said as she refers to Gilbert and Francis.
"We're so sorry about this mess. I hope you're not still thinking about that you're damsel in distress; for a princess..." Antonio said under his breath.

"What the…what are you two kids doing in here?" a male voice spoke, much to the relief of Raivis it didn't match the voice of Ivan, but instead the school's janitor.
Once your eyes adjusted to the light, you spoke up trying to give some logical explanation to why you both were in the closet "Well you see, um" you couldn't think of anything and began to get embarrassed
"I hope you two weren't up to anything…" the janitor narrowed his eyes suspiciously
You blushed heavily at the allegations, you looked at Raivis who seemed clueless; you grabbed hold of his hand and exited the closet "We're sorry" you mumbled to the janitor and then proceeded to drag the Latvian along with you down the hallway and then finally out of the building.
"I'm really sorry _____" Raivis said
"You do realize how much trouble we could have got into, right, Raivis?" you sighed,
"I k-know! And I'm really sorry…I shouldn't have pulled you in there with me…but it was j-just instinct…"

The next morning you woke up to discover that the school was closed after all. You had breakfast with Raivis and then told him you thought you better make your way home.
"B-but, will you be okay?" Raivis asked cautiously
"Yes I'll be fine. Most of the roads have cleared a bit now because of cars attempting to pass. Also I live quite close to here" you smiled
"Y-you are sure?"
"Yes Raivis!" you wanted to get home, since you really needed to freshen up and it was pretty embarrassing being in front of Raivis like this.
After you thanked Raivis' mother you put your coat on and wrapped your scarf around your neck tightly, Raivis watched your every move, part of him really didn't want you to leave and it wasn't just because of the weather, but he didn't have the guts to stop you.
You surprised Raivis by giving him a hug before you left, his cheeks blushed and after a few moments he returned the hug timidly, he tried to think if anyone had even embraced him like that before, except for his pa

Raivis couldn't deny the fact that he was feeling nervous about you coming over to his home, this would be the first time he had a girl come around to his house, and you weren't just any girl, you were pretty and caring. He didn't want to make a fool of himself again. He felt sort of doomed when he remembered that his room was a mess, but then thought there wasn't much point in worrying about it because he couldn't do anything about that now.
When you arrived at Raivis' house you felt curious, he told you to remove your shoes before entering because his parents would be mad if their carpet got dirty, you complied and then proceeded to remove your coat and scarf, Raivis did the same, he took your coat and scarf and hung them up.
"Um, so would you like something to eat or drink ______?" Raivis asked politely, you shook your head
"No but maybe you should eatů" you remembered how his stomach was making sounds during class, Raivis nodded.
He went to the kitchen and you followed him, he took

Shortly before the dinner was served Raivis' father had returned home, you noticed how big and tall the man was…you were convinced that one day Raivis would probably be the same, if only he had a little patience and didn't feel so insecure about his height right now, you thought. After you finished eating and spoke a little with Raivis' family you went back upstairs to collect your books.
"I better be going now, Raivis…I'll see you tomorrow!" you smiled. Little did you know that you wouldn't be going anywhere. As you made your way downstairs Raivis' mother was looking out of the window with an expression of concern on her face.
"________ the weather is really bad outside, it has been snowing on and off for hours and now there is a blizzard. It's not safe for you to leave. I think you should stay here tonight"
You were surprised because it was only snowing a little when you left school. You took a look out of the window and noticed that it did look horrible out there. You

The violin was lovely, soothing, and nostalgic to me. I slowly pulled the Ocarina away from my mouth, stepping close to the figured woman. I had the faintest idea of who this person was to me, only to have it confirmed by that gorgeous long hair, bellowing in the soft wind in the fields. Her _____ colored hair shone even in the dim cloud light, and a smile tugged at my lips. She looked majestic in her performing stance. Arms straight and bent at the pristine correct angles, Eyes shut and a soft smile on her face getting lost in her own melody. I spoke her name softly.
