Spoke to us.
We didn’t know what to do, so we took the largest of us by the arm and dragged him to it.
It was big... hard skinned... shiny... and it breathed black clouds where the burning lights crackled...
“Hello.” It said.
“Heh... Loh...” We replied.
“ This is James Bertam LIVE at the scene of Grace Hospital where the little boy known as Graham went missing.”
“Burr... Tam... Gray... Ham...”
That is when our growls and clicking of jaws became... “words.”...
“Keep going, Gammy!” the little green sanghuli chirped, her purple eyes wide with wonder, “I love this story! Please, don’t stop!”
The old, greyed sanghuli chuckled a deep chuckle. “Sulu, you’ve heard the story thousands of times!”
“But I love it!” the youngling known as Sulu chirped, “I especially love the part about the “hoomens”.”

With what knowledge we possessed, we healed the satellites wounds and made sure that it was comfortable... we wanted it to never leave us.
We provided it with flowers and soft leaves (but we stopped providing it with food, for it didn’t seem to want to eat).
Voyager continued to talk to us, the voice of the hoomans speaking through it. But never at all did voyager hold a proper conversation... It was almost as if we were too inferior to it...
“Voyager, what’s our purpose?... Why’re we here?...” Sulu asked
“The glassing of Reach has left many people homeless, dead, and hopeless...” Voyager would respond, “The aliens known as “The Covenant” are ruthless. Why are they doing this? What has humanity ever done to them?

The sun beat down on the hilly side of the Ilah Province, baking the earth with a soft warmth and scenting the air with a subtle aroma. The workers were busy at their tasks in the fields, but paused now and then to take in their surroundings and pass around a cool drink of water. Many of them worked at a leisurely pace, knowing that the greater work for the day had not yet started.
They were, for the most part, merely keeping busy while they waited for the master of the house.
A warm wind raced up the hill upon which the humble estate rested, flying through the quaking leaves of the surrounding treetops as it passed and mingling with the sharp rustle of the lush, golden grass as it swayed. Two figures were making their way down a path that parted the grass along the hill; one a tall Sangheili male with a distinguished lope, and the other a child whose head and shoulders were just barely visible as she bobbed energetically along in the grass.

"Spyro, you know I can tell when your lying. Now tell me what's the matter."
"It's nothing, really."
"OK OK. You know how I never knew my parents."
"Well I had a dream about them. They came to see me in it. But however they seemed sad. I was overjoyed to see them. But they never said a word. They just walked away and looked back once. They had sad expressions. They faced back to where they were walking and disappeared into a mist."
"You miss them don't you?"
"Yea I miss them alot. I never got to know them."
"Well, Spyro I miss mine alot too and I feel really guilty... because I could be the one who could have killed them. But sometimes we just have to move on with our lives and forget the past.

The following day, and the effects of Cynder being how she is are really beginning to get Spyro down...
Spyro loved Cynder. There was no doubt about that; but... It was hard to love a dragoness who had the mind of a toddler.
At first, the purple dragon could cope; hell, sometimes it was even fun! But she didn't understand. Deep down, she still loved Spyro, but she didn't understand her feelings.
"Spyrooo!" She would coo to him. "Come on Spyroo, lets play a game!" She would always elongate the 'row' bit of his name (so it sounded like 'whhooooooo'. He wasn't too sure if that was her mistake because of her situation, or if she was deliberately doing it to tease him).
"Cynder, I told you. It's 'Spy ROW' not 'Spy whhooooo'!" He snorted.
"Sorry Spy Row." She giggled. "You're a spy! You're a spy!" She tauntd, poking him with her claw.
"Yeah, funny. REAL funny..." He frowned.
"You like me really." She giggled. "I know you do..."

The grassy fields were replaced with the buildings and streets of Polaris. The city streets were filled with cars and had a lack of activity. What the three dragons saw in front of them was none other than their worst fear. An army of around a hundred earth dragons filled the fields below with no signs of any apes with them. Even with the small number of dragons that were there they all knew this was the biggest army of dragons to ever attack Warfang.
Flame turned to his personal guard, Aden, and ordered "get the rest of the soldiers here! We are going to need everyone we can get for this battle!"
"Yes sir!" Aden replied before flying back into the city.
While scanning the army in front of them Gravel spotted a familiar dragon at the front. It was none other than his father, Boulder. He hadn't seen him in years, but he knew all too well that it was him. The one time he saw him his face was burned into his mind. Every fiber of his body wanted to fly down there and fight him for all of the pain and suffering he caused on Warfang, but doing so would be foolish with all of the earth dragons that would swarm h

It was Memorial Day, a day when all living creatures should pay their respect to their dead love ones. Normally, Spyro and Cynder don't celebrate it, because at first, they didn't had a purpose for it. This year though, they do; Ignitus. As Spyro and Cynder prepared to go to the burnt grounds, Spyro's head was full of memories of Ignitus; it was full of memories of good times, and bad, even his death. It was the same for Cynder, who once in a while still blames herself for the past few years, when the dark master was still alive.
"I-I can't believe it. It's already been a year since his death, and yet it feels like it happened just yesterday," said Spyro as tears started to form.
"I know, Spyro," Cynder said as she wiped away his tears. A few moments later, they headed off for the death place of Ignitus. As they arrived, things were just the same. Thankfu
