There is a sacred rhythm
The rhythm of the earth
To which she sings a sacred song
Of death and of rebirth
It is the rhythm in the breath
Of all the living things
And to this rhythm still today
The Wheel of the Year spins
There is a time of looking back
When nature goes to rest
When through the mists you might just see
The future and the past
A time of promises and hope
When in the longest night
We see the darkness, feel the cold
But look towards the light
There is a time of new ideas
New flowers carefully grow
We too awaken from our sleep
To watch the melting snow
A time of creativity
Of newborn life and growing
We'll see the world through other eyes
And wonder where it's going
There is a time of passion
When love is strong as fire
We feel the earth's fertile soil
And bring her our desire
A time of everlasting days
Under the mighty sun
We dance and think about the cold
The dark that's yet to come
There is a time of harvest
When nature grants us food
We thank for her abundan
HatterXReader(SyFy Alice):Part 1It was late, just a few hours before midnight. You were curled up on a comfy beige sofa in a blanket while mindlessly watching tv. You were currently staying with your friend Alice at her large apartment in the city for a couple weeks. You had met the beautiful British girl a few months ago and the two of you had become friends almost instantly. She was quirky, highly imaginative, and always had a way of going with the flow no matter what kind of crazy situations you both got into. You felt comfortable around Alice because you could tell her all your ridiculous fantasies and daydreams and she would never judge you for them. In fact she seemed rather to encourage the impossible. Some days you would both just make up silly scenarios and stories and get caught up pretending they were real. Being around Alice was as natural and comfortable as breathing. You never felt the need to hide who you really were or watch what you said in her presence. She truly had accepted you just the way you arHatterXReader(SyFy Alice):Part 12 years ago in Romance More Like This

Cheshire chuckled at her, "Care for some tea, love?"
"After that encounter? I'd rather eat paste."
He strode over to her, butting his head into her shoulder, indicating she could lean on him.
He walked her over to a slight ledge, helping her sit. Alice flinched as she moved, one of the eyepots having struck her quite viciously across her back when she was turning to attack her other foes.
"Alice, what's wrong?"
She clenched her teeth as the fabric of her dress brushed across the fresh wound.
He moved around to stand behind her, and paused for a moment, concentrating hard, feeling a rush of energy course through his veins, letting it drift through his every cell, pulling him, changing him. Cheshire shuddered, disliking the adjustment of limbs. He knelt next to Alice,
As The World Falls Down--1It was mid-afternoon in Salazen Grum; and both the sun and the Red Queen had reached their peak and were now beginning to descend. The sun was traveling west; the Queen was allowing herself to sink into a state of nervousness. As The World Falls Down--15 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
She was testy and irritable, as she usually was, but today's events seemed to goad within her a certain anxiousness to accompany her bad temper.
Stayne, standing dutifully next to her, watched her fingers clench and unclench on the arms of the throne. She bit her lip and made a visible attempt to relax, leaning back into the large throne as far as her massive head would allow, only to lean forward again, picking up her small scepter to flick some imaginary dust off of it.
The Knave's brows creased, not so much out of concern than for curiosity. Normally when the Red Queen had something on her mind, some trifle or another, she wasted no time in whining to him about how it wasn't fair or that it was giving her a headache.
Change - A Hans/Elsa Story - Chapter 1It was November, and it was going to snow. I would be the first of the year (if you don't count the fiasco that occurred that summer) and though no one but Elsa was aware of it, she was certain, today was the day.Change - A Hans/Elsa Story - Chapter 11 year ago in Romance More Like This
She always knew when it was going to snow. Ever since she was a child she would wake up and feel it. A heaviness, in her bones and skin, and she would stand outside on one of the palace balconies and wait for the cloud to release their burden. It would be a long process, sometimes she would wait all day, but the moment that first flake fell it made the whole thing worthwhile. She would feel the weight lift from her and be replaced by a light, airy bliss. She would spend the rest of the day with her head in the clouds. Anna would recall that if she did she her sister on these days she seemed so happy, but she never quite knew why.
Though things had changed since she had become Queen, Elsa still awoke before the sun. the same heavy feeling on her skin. She dressed quickly, almo

Jack landed softly on the snow-covered ground. He had been flying around exploring the world when he had spotted something in the mountains.
A girl was walking lonely in the darkness with a red cape dragging behind her. Jack felt like something was pulling him toward her. He knew she could not see so he decided to follow her for a bit. She was walking slowly with the wind against her slowly climbing up the mountain.
There was something about her; it looked like she was broken as if she had lost everything.
Suddenly she started to sing, her clear voice filled the cold empty air.
Jack felt like someone just had hit him in the stomach. The song was full with sadness, he wanted to put his arms around her hold her and comfort her.
But just as it sounded like the girl was going to break down she raised her voice and the song got a different tone.
She threw up her glove and ice sparkle from her hands. Jack took a deep breath; she had the same power as him. He wa

"So then the princess and the hunter lived happily ever after in a meat paradise. The end," Sokka said triumphantly as he crossed his arms in front of his chest, face gleaming with pride.
The rest of the gaang sat silently around the bonfire, trading shifty-eyed glances and not quite sure what to make of the end of Sokka's story.
"Well?" he asked expectantly. "Wasn't that the best ending you've ever heard?"
Suki gave an embarrassed smiled and patted her husband's leg, "It was very . . . uh interesting, Sokka, but I really think you should stick to being the future Southern Water Tribe chief."
"I'll admit," Toph drawled from across the campfire, "the ending was definitely my favorite part."
"Thanks, T-. Hey!" Sokka exclaimed, scowling at her though he knew she couldn't see it and wouldn't care if she could.
They all laughed together as they once had as teenagers so long ago. They were all older now and maybe a little wiser. Seven years since the war had

That silly little butterfly pin.
I never thought it would ever mean anything to me back then, not ever. Being back in Wonderland for the second time after the fire had proved me wrong.
When I fell, they would catch me and bring me back where I began. When I fought, they would guide me from any danger that would dare hurt me. When I died, they brought me back to life as if the fight I fought had not occurred.
Nearing the end of my journey, I had finally realized what these butterflies symbolized. My family. They had protected me and guided me to find out what had truly happened that fateful night and to find that dastardly arson. They still had faith in me after death.
My eyes opened as I heard a soft purr close to my neck. "Did you ever think they doubted you, my dear?"
I gazed upon the now clear blue sky above me. "I used to

Katara burst into the room without knocking, walked briskly to the large bed with an expressionless face, and threw herself face first down on the mattress.
"I hate the Fire Nation."
Zuko looked up from his desk on the other side of the room, smirking playfully.
"That's not very comforting coming from the future Fire Lady," he said.
The water bender sighed angrily and lifted her head to rest on her chin. Her eyes were narrowed, which did little to change Zuko's easy expression as he stared back at his fiancée.
"I'm sorry," she said. "It's just I can't take one more second of these etiquette lessons. If I'm not memorizing a bunch of dining rules that frankly make NO sense, I'm getting scolded for having one foot half an inch higher than the other while at the dinner table. And don't get me started on the dance lessons."
Zuko clicked his tongue, knowing he should probably be informing Katara that as his

From Katara's POV
I watch from my balcony as my daughter Kiza sneaks out her window and drops to the ground outside the palace. It is nearly midnight, and I know that I should be angry that Kiza is leaving at this hour, but I can only think about where she is going. Because I know.
She is going to see him. Norro. The boy from the Southern Water Tribe whom she met when we visited her Uncle Sokka, the Chief of the Tribe, and his family two years ago. Norro came to the Fire Nation not three months later, and Kiza has been seeing him ever since.
They have a surprisingly strong bond, considering they come from completely different worlds. He a poor waterbender from the South Pole; she a firebender and daughter of the Fire Lord. But then again, it is not that surprising.

Everything was black, and then white. Clouded by a sense of panic were endless thoughts of desperation racing through my head as I squinted at the two silhouetted figures looming above me, a bright glint of saw-toothed metal in each hand. Denial, frustration and sheer terror drove me to try to escape but all was futile; the slick steel examination table refused to let me go. No, I begged in my head. This was absolutely not happening not again.
"Mom, Dad, no!"

It was a cold January evening. Elsa, only age six, sat beside her younger sister on a snow covered log. The two had spent the chilly snow day together, building silly snowmen and brushing the powdered pearls off their shoulders. The birds of Arendelle began to grow silent as the sun slowly set.
"Girls!" Elsa's mother called. "It's time to come in now. I've made some hot cocoa for you."
Anna giddily rose from the log and tottered towards their mother. Elsa also rose, but slowly and sadly. She felt safe in the snow. She wasn't ready to feel the harsh warmth of the castle. "Mommy, do I have to?"
"Yes, Elsa. You've been out here all day and I don't want you to catch a cold. Hurry along now." Her mother placed her hand on her shoulder and shuffled her into the castle.
Anna happily climbed the stairs with her mother by her side. Elsa dawdled behind, gazing at the snowflakes out the window. "I wish it could be winter forever."
"I don't," their mother chuckled. She scooted Elsa along and escor

A sly smile tugged insistently at the corners of my lips as I made my way to the helmet of junk and goodies. This game sounded interesting from the beginning, especially if I manage to get the item of a certain fun-loving male elf. I briefly glanced up at said elf only to see his molten amber eyes focused in on me. My smile grew slightly bigger, though not enough for people to notice, happy that I had his undivided attention. I closed my eyes and felt around in the helmet, excited to see whose item I would pull out. When Elsa woke up, Jack was still sleeping. She figured she would prepare him breakfast so he could regain some strength. She remembered she had some food to prepare in an ice box in her kitchen in case Anna was ever to visit. As far as she remembered, there was fruit and a few foods that could spoil like eggs, milk, and cheese. She didn't eat as much as her warm sibling did, but she did eat occasionally for nourishment.
She slowly opened the ice box and removed a jar of yogurt. She scooped the yogurt into a freezing bowl. After that she cut some fruit and placed it in the yogurt. To top off the breakfast, she poured a glass of milk into a frozen mug. She smiled to herself in success; she wasn't the best host, but she felt as if she succeeded.
She heard the sleepy boy stir down the stairs. He lazily slumped into a dining room chair, not noticing Elsa peak from the kitchen. "Good morning," she said suddenly.
Jack flinched. "Oh! I didn't see you. Good morning."
"I hope you like yogurt. T
