He was VERY close to you, his face a couple inches from yours, and his lean muscled frame was next to yours without touching. He was so close, you could feel the body heat radiating from him.
You shuddered, and the police consultant noticed the little movement, smiling brightly.
"Do I intimidate you?" he purred, and you flushed. "As much as I like this subject, we do need to figure out some arrangements."
You leaned back, against the closed door, as far from Sherlock as you could get without being obvious about it. He had you cornered between the counter of your kitchenette and the door, though it seemed he was too lost in thought to notice if you shoved past him.
"What arrangements?" you asked, tilting your head skywards and closing your eyes.
"Like where I should sleep," he said.
You turned to look at him, trying to ignore the mischievous gleam in his gray eyes. It made you nervous.
"I've noticed that you have
BlackJack: Chapter two: The ArmyThere’s a part of Burgess Forest where no one ventures. Animals are even wary of the place. Only a few brave souls have come close enough to get a glimpse of a clearing constantly shrouded in darkness.BlackJack: Chapter two: The Army2 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
There actually isn’t anything out of the ordinary about the clearing… well if you ignore the fact that there’s a seemingly bottomless pit right smack damn in the middle. But other than that it’s absolutely, completely and utterly ordinary.
As long as you don’t explore the bottomless pit you’ll be fine, because if you do, you’re going to have a very, very long fall ahead of you.
Hundreds of meters below the forest lounges a giant cavern, large gothic cages hang from its stalactite covered ceiling. Some of the cages had fallen from their chains and where lying bent and broken on the rocky ground and remnants of a globe where scattered across the cavern’s floor.
A figure paced back and forth throughout the cavern, darkness following his

The moon-rock door swung open as the five Guardians came closer to it.
A giant aquamarine glowworm with a kind face greeted them, standing just beyond the doorway and inside the lunar house. He ushered them inside, welcoming each of them individually with a deep and gentle voice, calling them by their full names and their Guardian titles.
The door was smaller than your average door, forcing the five to enter one at a time. North barely managed to squeeze his large figure inside. Both he and Bunny had to practically fold themselves over in half to avoid hitting their heads, too.
“And lastly, but most definitely not leastly, welcome, Jack Frost, Guardian of Fun,” the glowworm said when it was the winter spirit’s turn. Jack ducked his head to avoid the low clearing (though not nearly as much as the long-eared rabbit and massive man had had to) and went through the doorway.
Is every animal larger on the moon? Jack wondered to himself as he walked past the glowworm,

The last thing Jack remembered was The Doctor screaming out his name.
He blinked several times, squinting as his eyes adjusted to the dim lighting. There was a painfully tight knot in his chest. His head felt numb and yet throbbed all the same. His entire body felt as if someone had taken each individual muscle, pulled it past its maximum capacity and let it snap carelessly back into place. Did he even have the ability to move anymore?
Only one way to find out.
He willed himself to roll onto his side, slinging his left hand over to his right side to help prop himself up. His arms were lead, his torso an immoveable block of concrete. His legs were completely limp.
His vision blurred and wavered.
Even so, slowly but surely, the tightness left him, feeling returning to his nerves as his hands pushed against the cold steel floor. He sat up successfully, his sight gifted back to him.
Where was he?
He rubbed his temple.
A distant memory played back in his head. O
1 - Female Gollum Tries To Eat My FaceThis is how a perfectly normal day turns upside down: all you need is to be attacked by a psycho Gollum version of a goddess who wants to eat your face for lunch, then having her wacked in the head by a goat-man god with an obsession with frying pans, then him driving you all the way to long island sound where you’re supposed to accept the freaking fact that Greek gods are real and have temporarily rented the top of the Empire State Building and control civilization… Piece of cake!1 - Female Gollum Tries To Eat My Face2 years ago in Drama More Like This
Okay, you’re clearly confused, how about we start it all from scratch?
My name is Robin Ashton; I’m 14 and a half years old and as much as I remember I’ve always had problems with people, I got easily angry, was over competitive or just simply annoyed them.
Okay, getting back to the point, how about I start from where odd things (Well, odd in my life) happened that day:
I blankly stare out the window of the subway train I’m in while going through what happened that day.

"[f/n]" Darcy replied "This is tidy"
You stacked a few magazines into a neat pile on the coffee table and picked up a dirty mug.
"It's messy to me. Make yourselves at home!" you shouted from the kitchen.
You heard the sound of someone flopping onto your sofa, presumably Loki, as Darcy followed you into the kitchen.
"You'd really hate my house. If this is mess... well, bombsite doesn't sum up the clutter"
She looked around her as you washed the mug under the tap and asked "Got anything to eat?"
"Not really. There's some bread in the freezer if you want sandwiches or toast"
Darcy spun round and opened the freezer
"It's in the top drawer" you directed before she could ask
She helped herself to two slices of bread as you drew up a mental list of what you'd have to buy at the shops tomorrow.
"Where's the toaster?" Darcy asked
You turned off the tap and put the mug upside-down on the draining board.
"Don't have one"
Darcy stared at you ope

Moonlight glinted through thin clouds that where plastered over the inky sky. Small flakes of snow fell gracefully, the light breeze buffeting them through the air. The moon’s sliver rays caught on the snowflakes’ icy fingers, decorating the space with cold flakes of glitter.
Below, a small town was strewn across an illuminated white blanket that had fallen the night before. Streetlights and Christmas lights glinted like fireflies throughout the sleeping buildings. Cars with frosted windows lay dormant on the streets and ice had curled its way onto the roads making them treacherous and slippery. Many small shops lined the road, their colorful canopies had been folded in for the night and their bellies were dark. ‘Sorry, we’re closed’ signs where hanging off almost every shops’ door. A low-lying park was positioned in the center of the town. Gnarled and naked trees sprouted from the hard soil, their wooden hands coiling into the sk
