One of my favorite photos of all with this costume!! The place was awesome, very beautiful and quiet. The water was very clean and clear, transparent! ♥ It is one of the most beautiful places I have visited to take pictures. I am very proud and happy with the result, especially thanks to Ruben who did a good job! *___* I hope you like it!
/me as Aerith Gainsborough. From Final Fantasy VII.

*Picture taken by: (my Zack ♥) <- Thank you *3*
Really I love this picture Was taken in París (when the Japan Expo). In a hotel (our hotel xD) that was very similar to the Nibelheim Inn!! Outside the hotel, in the morning there was a market. We were so into the skin of our characters that we was decided to call it "The Slum Market" ("Mercado Muro" in spanish) hahaha!! I have great memories of those days ♥
One of the first costumes I made ♥ This photo was taken early this month, on a really windy day. I was always freaking out because of the bangs but I guess the wind actually gave a nice effect to the wig here^^
Costume: Aerith Gainsborough - Final Fantasy VII 100% Handmade
This all started when suggested I do Aerith to her Tifa. So lo and behold come ACen I had her up and running. I decided to go with the Original version of Aerith instead of Advent Children just because the game meant a lot more to me. And plus it's way more festive.
I made everything: the dress (which has sleeve and placket facing) and jacket (which is top-stitched to make it look like denim) were drafted from pattern blocks, the silver and gold bands were made out of craft foam and painted. Her necklace was simply a ribbon, and her hair bow was made with fusible interfacing so it would stay stiff and give it shape. Her hair was tough, but it turns out if you use enough hairspray to choke yourself with, it will stay put. XD The bangs are my hair, and since my hair isn't quite long enough (although it is quite getting there) I had to buy a drawstring hair extension. And you can't see my shoes, but those were bought at Salvation Army with no alterations.
I really do love Aerith, and I was so happy to do this costume.
Here with an other Vincent upload, will try to upload more frequently but currently in the middle of a double house jump and sewing like crazy for a rapidly approaching deadline! D: ;; Wish me luck, I will most definitely need it haha!
The Cerberus was a super last minute ghetto job, many thanks to for coming over and knocking this one out, didn't spend one cent on this prop, just made from an dumbly huge list of scrap materials I found around my house and floor so was pretty pleased when people complimented it, since I thought it was pretty err laughable 8D 8D Had a really fun time and laugh making it though! Was pretty ridiculous our ideas as the reserve of good resources ran out quickly! Though despite a rather rushed finished I was pretty pleased at the accuracy we achieved with the crap we had!
Thank you to for last minute ghetto rush jobs in the hotel, finished this costume moment before migrating hotels zzz, Darcy you should know better than to cut it that close again D: ;; Thank you to for arranging the wig for me/styling and to dearest for all your support when I filled up your inbox with 3am spam, for being my manager and helping me the next day and for maintaining my wig over that night <3 <3
