Rise of the TranshumansThe last battle for equal rights won't be for racial equality;Rise of the Transhumans3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
It won't be for gender equality;
Not for sexual or gender orientation;
It will be a battle between two species:
Humans and Transhumans.
Unlike the other battles for equality, this one will be more than figurative;
It will take a great expense of blood
And in all likelihood result in the eventual extinction of the human race.
That's how dominant species function,
As one rises the other must logically fall
Transhumans will be smarter, stronger, and more capable than humans
Humans will eventually stop being the masters of their own planet
Transhumans will take the jobs of the elites, and outperform their human counterparts
Humans will respond, violently as usual
But they will loose.
What may start as a quest for equality for by both
Will end with the extinction of one.
One Human, One Spark 40“Wheeljack. Topspin. Miko.”One Human, One Spark 402 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
All three looked up guiltily. Wheeljack covered it with a look of nonchalance. Topspin covered it with a nervous grin. Miko just plain looked guilty.
It was enough for the Prime to know, YES, he was on the right trail.
The Prime blinked down at them. “Where is Twin Twist?”
The brief flicker of a smirk across Wheeljack’s lips was all he needed. Topspin gave a nervous laugh, and Miko looked up at the two Wreckers, not understanding.
Ratchet, across the room, sees all this and had to come over, wondering what had got his leader’s hackles up. “Optimus?”
“I’ll handle this,” Optimus stressed, narrowing his optics. “Wheeljack?”
It took him a moment to school his grin. “Sir?”
“Where is Twin Twist.”
“You mean you don’t know?”
He seemed surprised. Optimus’s gaze flattened even more. “No, I do not. And he has not been seen all day.”

Stuff like this breaks, you never get it back together. There'll always be cracks. Large ones, at that. I mean, you can try. You can search and scramble, but I tell you: all those small pieces will be forever left missing. And you know how the saying goes: It's the small things in life.
Yeah. It kinda broke. It will never be the same. I know that. You know that. Sounds to me like we're in agreement. So why do you keep screaming at me, for God's sake? Can't we just skip to the make-up sex?
What do you want me to say, then? Tell me. You say it, I'll repeat it. It's simple. You tell me what you need to hear from me so you'll feel better, and I'll tell you. Come on. We haven't got all day.
Apologize? You gotta be kiddi--
I am so truly and utterly sorry, my dear lovely darling. I really, really feal sorry from the bottom of my heart.
Of course it's not an honest apology! Why would I apologize? There's nothing to apologize for. You're not making a mountain out of a dust

So if you start

Its not a sign

I see you running through my dreams again

It just strikes a nerve, the thought of you out with another man
Holding his hand
And you may ask me what I smile for
Maybe you think I'm happier
With you gone.
I'm not smiling 'cause I'm happy, no
I'm smiling 'cause I'm tired of being sad.
The moment you left my arms
Was the moment I couldn't take
I felt every single part
of my heart start to break
No one else could make me whole
But you're a thousand miles away
And though i feel like my minds giving
I'm taking the breaths to stay
Cause I know we're good for something
We just haven't made it yet
But we'll feel it

and we come along,
under the moon and stars.
And as love sings its song
together our hearts
will become a key.
To not many doors,
And if its true
together we can open this door.
To all of it's blissful paradise it has to offer.
And together we'll walk
through it's deep path,
surrounded by a forest,
listening to love's song along the way.
Following it's tune to lead us the way.
Till the day the last leaf falls on our path.
For some its soon and other's its not.
But as we obey the song,
we hum along the farewell.
But if its true,
me and you
as this path turns and joins to form a new.
All the while humming along to our love's song.
The forest holding our path
also holds a lake with flowers in constant bloom.
And if it's true,
then we are immortalized there.
Playing in the sunlit skies,
and dancing under the star and moonlit skies.
Singing to our love
Forever in our blissful paradise.

In and out, I breathe, and my breath is heavy. I can feel the cold water running down my spine as I shiver in blind, mindless fear.
While we were still at home, I was always thought to be someone who will one day rise from the crowd as the shining hero of my people, and never once have I shown even the slightest sign of resistance against such fate. However, I’ve always been haunted by an enormous sense of guilt, because I knew that when the day came I found myself in the face of danger, this would happen. The cold fear running through me, my blood freezing in my veins, and my mind blank, deprived of all though; all of this I have already seen happening a long time ago in a premonition that couldn’t have been anything but true. Thus, since that time, I have known that one day I will let them down. Yet, I continued to play my part, giving speeches of false hope while standing in the golden light, still knowing that soon I will be reduced to nothing, a mindless fool no better

Love is the stuff of dreams and fairytales.
Friends walk away.
Love takes work.
Life is full of surprises.
Sadness and darkness.
Beautiful light and glimpses of joy.
Forever is a really long time,
But can pass in the blink of an eye.
Life is a beautiful tapestry,
Shimmering with possibilities.

And I thought it just might…
…go away when I awoke.
But all it did was evoke
What I knew you to be.
And it never stopped hovering over me.
The emotion is here,
And I was there,
Dangling over the bed,
Obtaining the image that I was dead.
You came over and tucked me in,
And as I foresaw this, I saw you grin.
You were so happy to fix me,
Just like you are when you see
Me after years of only dreaming
Of the skin you always see gleaming
And the small lips curving into a smile.
And you think it was all worthwhile
To see me all grown…
You have chuckled and shown
Me what I wished for long nights
And shown me such lovely sights.
I had a dream about you yesterday.
It brought me to see you today.

I would try to defend you
In doing which I lost my dignity
But it didn't help me
They called me a monster
They locked me in a cell
No matter how much I cried
You never came to rescue me
The path is blocked by many foes
All of which I cannot defeat alone
Remember all the times I won the hunger games?
It was because you were there
I am nothing without you
I know Mitch
There's little we can do
It's just you, me and this brick wall between us
Please don't leave Biggums
You're my only hope now
It's not fair
Just because you're a little bit fluffier than us

Hug her tightly,
And let there be utter silence;
Because her mind is in chaos,
Let silence soothe her heart.

Lament of a Dying SamuraiI will always remember the first day we met. You, the young daughter of a Master Samurai, and me, an apprentice to your father. You were shy that first meeting, I remember that. From me, you hid your face in a fan decorated in cherry blossoms and wouldn’t meet my eye when I feasted on your beauty. I can remember you standing next to me, shivering in that light kimono of yours and your full red lips turning a shade of blue. The snow drift had cut off our training hut from the rest of the village and your father had left to see if any road was still useable. We huddled together on the mats, our hands on each other’s for warmth. You told me your name that day. It was Misaki. Beautiful blossom. I never forgot it.

The Death Knight, Part 1It had always saddened me that I never remembered what my life once was. Day after day, traveling the world and fighting against the true threats of it with nothing more than a horse and a pet zombie fighting alongside me, I pondered my past life. In rare times I would get minor flashes of my home, some sign of who I was, but they made no sense. It was only worse knowing that the only connection remaining to that life, the last person who knew who I was, I had personally killed months before. Back when I obeyed his command. My aim has been realized,
I have wrapped you up in lies;
This entire time we have spent
I have been deceiving you.
A warm and safe haven
For you I have created,
So that you would trust
And you would believe
Every word I have been saying.
But I'm not the only one,
Look around and you'll find
Not a single person here is honest.
We've all been setting you up,
We've all been working hard,
And when you need us most,
We'll laugh and let you fall.
Oh, there really is no reason,
Though you'll try to find one;
This is, quite simply, just what we do.
If we are to be honest, then you really must know
We have all simply been dying to kill you.
