i feel like i mentioned this, but i may have just told a few people, but im making sailor moon cosplay accessories to eventually sell at anime cons and online.
so this was made out of sculpey. it took forever. i decided to start with the eternal brooch since it is probably the most difficult to make. i told myself, sean if you can make this, you can make any of them. it took two tries, but i think it came out nicely.
i already made a cast and now im playing around with different ways to do the resin. i think ill just do it clear and then do a light coat for the gems so they have a translusentish feel to them. solid gems dont look as good.
A pic I did not long after finishing my Hive Tyrant. Found a use finally for the Necron Warrior that's looking up!
In the pic is my Hive Tyrant, Zoey, Lil' Nasty, a Hormagaunt, Gary Goyle and a Frag Spore Mine on the Tyranid side.
The Necron side has a Warrior and a Pariah in it.
Slightly outnumbered, but that's how Tyranids work so well!!
My beautiful friend Kat [link] commissioned me to make her a Belle costume, I can not get over how much she looks like her! November 14th A few of my friends and I put on a princess picnic [link] where we were lucky to have such talented photographers like September Sky [link] and Indigo [link] photograph the event. September Sky took this breathtaking photo of Kat.
Make-up: I wanted a glamorous looks with out being too over the top. Neutral shades of tan and brown on the eyes with a peachy pink blush highlighting the cheeks. I added faux lashes and blended them with in with her natural ones with black mascara.
More Chobits!!! This time it's Elda/Chii as a body paint!!! I haven't done a body paint in so long!!! Please note i am TOTALLY covered her, the lines of the pasties and thong have simply been photoshopped out. I am as covered as the actress for Mystique in the X-men movies which are PG-13 movies.
I wanted to do something different for a body paint this time around, and in the end the design is a little similar to Asuka's plugsuit in some ways. Still i don't see many cosplays of Elda, since there really aren't a ton of good reference photos of this outfit.
Cause I was bored, and started playing with makeup. I ended up painting half of my body in blue. The chest part , I did in a hurry because I was already tired of it. That's why it doesn't look very good.
Used the same blue light from my Phazon corrupted Samus pictures. Cheap wig, but... What do you think?
Here they are, the newly completed Maitland masks that I sculpted for Halloween.
Both are sculpted out of blue construction foam, painted with acrylics.
