Ch.2 How the Baseball Jock Fell in Love
Hi, for those of you who don't know me, my name is Jack Frost. I just moved in this cold town called Berk, I can definitely say that it's different from where I came from. Though the people here seem to be…well similar to the ones from Russia. Yes, I'll admit it, I'm from Russia. Now I don't have any thick Russian accent or anything like that, because I've only actually been living there since I was ten. It's just my Uncle North who has the accent.
Some people tend to mistake him to be my dad, though I can see why, with us having white hair and blue eyes. Though sadly he's not, he is my dad's older brother. He has been my guardian since after the time when my parents died in a car crash…no one else really wanted to take me in except for North. Ever since then he became the best 'dad' I can ever ask for.
He is the manager of this famous world wide toy company, he sells and invents a bunch of new toys each year. Which is why we moved he

Ch1 The Boy from Berk
It was a sunny day in the Highlands of Scotland with a cool breeze coming off the ocean which was calm that day. Above it the blue sky was dotted with only a few clouds when suddenly a black streak shot by, the black streak turned out to be a dragon. The dragon was jet black in color, obviously a Night Fury, with greenish-yellow eyes. What was different from most dragons was he had a mechanical fin on his tail that seemed to be attached to a saddle he was wearing on his back and there was a boy sitting on the saddle. The boy had dark auburn hair with green eyes and was wearing dark green pants, a green tunic that went to his mid-thigh, a brown belt where there looked to be a small knife, and a riding vest. The thing that stood out on him was that while he had a typical Viking-style boot on his right foot his left was a spring-loaded prosthetic leg that fit into the stirrup on the dragon's saddle. His name was Hiccup, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III to be precise, an

“I kinda have to, Jack. He’ll find out on his own soon enough anyway. You know what he always says: Nothing happens in the town that I don’t find out about.”
“Well, just know that I’m here for you, Hic. I gotta go pick up Emma from dance. Love you.”
Hiccup smiled at his boyfriend’s words. “Thanks. I’ll tell him tonight at dinner. I love you, too, Jack.”
“Alright, call if you need me. Bye.”
“Bye.” Hiccup slung his backpack over his shoulder and slipped the phone into his pocket.
As charming as Berk Academy was after hours, he’d much rather be at home.
As soon as he left the warmth of the school the chill in the air had him pulling his jacket closer to his body. He sighed, at least it was Friday and h

His question was cut short when a snowball hit him in the back, sending the uncoordinated youth toppling to the ground in an ungraceful heap.
Hiccup rolled over, bringing one mitten clad-hand up to wipe the snow out of his eyes, and heard Jack laugh.
The white haired teen came out from behind a large tree, blue eyes sparkling with mirth.
“You, sir, are playing a dangerous game! Going up against this much raw... viking-ness! There'll be consequences!” Hiccup warned, propping himself up on his elbows to glare at his boyfriend. Jack smirked down at Hiccup and raised an eyebrow. “I’ll take my chances.”

Suddenly, something hit him in the stomach, causing him to bolt up in pain. "TOOTHLESS!" Hiccup yelled at the black cat. It looked up at him with those big green eyes and meowed. Sighing, he moved the cat off my lap and decided to get up. "Useless cat." He muttered as he slipped on a clean shirt and pants. Toothless meowed again and Hiccup turned to see him holding his glasses between his teeth. He smiled at him and slid them onto his face while giving him a scratch underneath the chin. Let Me Teach You "Hiccup, what are you doing?" I heard Jack ask as he peered over my shoulder. We were inside the Great Hall, alone for the most part. Or I hoped, I really didn't need other villagers to see me seemingly talking to myself. "I'm reading," I replied, tilting my head down at the book on the table. "It's a very good book."
"Oh," Jack's voice dimmed, and he stepped back, only to jump over me and land effortlessly on his toes on the table. "Why don't you stop reading and we can go outside and have a snowball fight? Or build a snowman, or ice over a few walk ways to watch some good wipe outs? Or-"
"Or how about we stay in here and read?" I cut in, smirking a bit. "There's plenty of books in here I'm sure

The words faded away as Nick walked down the stairs. Jack looked at his alarm clock. The red digital numbers showed “07:30”. Jack got out of bed, and walked to the closet. He picked one of the five blue hoodies and one of the three pairs brown pants.

A small, brown-haired little boy called out, his Irish-accented voice carrying eerily over the silenced village. The intruders stood frozen, every eye of every resident of the tiny community on them. They were large, much bigger men than the colonists had ever seen before. They were nothing like them, they knew not of who they were or where they had come from. They seemed very intimidating; carrying large swords and weird contraptions made of wood and metal. They wore horned hats upon their heads as well, adding to the frightening image they displayed.
And yet. . .
The child who'd spoken earlier suddenly rushed out from behind his mother who reached out timidly to hold him back. The boy tilted his head, and freed himself from his mother's protective grasp. He walked up to the man at the head of the newcomers, head still to one side as his arms hung loosely at his side. His eyes shifted down from the man's f

The silent night of the Hogwarts halls was disturbed as a girl with wild, fiery hair whispered towards the white-haired boy leading the group of six to the seventh floor. The boy, Jack, spun around so that he was walking backwards and pouted playfully at the girl.
"You wound me Mari. When have I ever got us caught?" he said, not bothering to keep his voice down as his hand went to his chest as if he had been physically wounded.
"Correction," the girl walking next to him said, also not whispering. Utari's black braid and green and blue feathered earrings swung as she turned to fly backwards with Jack. The light on her wand shined off her citrine bindi as she said, "You've never got us caught without meaning to. There's a big difference bro."

The bell rang out as a flock of birds flew from the watch tower. Students bustled about, chattering with people they know, and some making new acquaintances. The sun rose high into the sky and a late summer breeze washed over the open area. A few students walked inside the building, while some were still making their way over on the path. However, one student remained behind on a bench, a freshman dressed in a white uniform. His pen slid over the pages of a tattered sketchbook. His tongue stuck out to the side a bit as his emerald eyes followed each stroke of the pen. For a moment, his left hand rested at his side, and the lad smiled at his work. His smile soon drooped as his pen went back to work, gliding over a few mistakes left behind from before.
“Hey! Stop that,” a feminine voice called from behind him. His pen stopped for a moment; his ears tuned in to the conversation budding behind him. Again, the voice continued,

I noticed a swarm of dragons all around the village and sighed.
"Another dragon attack," I muttered as I stopped flying towards the island.
Just because most of the mortals couldn't see me didn't mean that the overgrown flying reptiles couldn't. I watched for a while as the dragons continued flying around the village. Suddenly a black dragon came barreling towards me, I barely made it out of its way and that's when I heard someone yell.

Summoning the wind I dive after them. The person-a young boy-is yelling. But before I can reach him, the dragon swoops underneath the boy, and catches him? I stop and stare as the boy clips himself into the saddle I hadn't noticed before.

Imagine this setting: We skim above a dark, wild ocean. Then we turn towards a lone island, its name, Berk. It is a gigantic shard of rock jutting straight out of the water. Our sight gazes over rolling hills to reveal a small village nestled on an outcropping of sea mounts.

He would ask questions that no one knew the answer to. The adults hated that, it made them feel dumb,

Hi, for those of you who don't know me, my name is Hiccup. Well actually it's Hamish; Hamish Horrendous Haddock…the third. But most of the people in this small cold town name Berk; started calling me Hiccup when I was five because of the fact that I had the case of the hiccups for a whole week. So that nickname has been stuck to me ever since, even my dad started calling me Hiccup not too long later…wonderful.
I was also kind of known to be useless in my town, no one really cared for me or wanted to be my friend. The only friend I did have was my huge black dog named Toothless (because when he was a puppy he had no teeth), and the only thing that I was good at was art. But no one seemed to really care about my artistic talent. For what the people here really care about having is brute strength.
