"Holy crap, I can't wait to play this!" I thought as the newest version of Amnesia was downloading. It was currently on 99% and has been for the last 5 minutes.
"C'mon, load!" I said frustrated.
Immediately after I said that, a pop-up came up saying:
Are you sure you want to play?
"Of course I want to play! I wouldn't sit here for the past twenty five minutes downloading this if I didn't want to play!" I said, a confused look on my face.
I clicked enter and the screen went black.
"What the f-" My thoughts were interrupted as everything went black.
I awoke, groaning.
"Oww, what the hell, how did I end up in my bed...?" My voice trailed off as I realized that I wasn't in my bed, in fact, is isn't even my room. "Where am I?" I thought, getting out of the green bed. I looked around my surroundings finding grey walls stained with blood, a green chair in the corner, a mahogany dresser, and a desk with a note on it. I walked over to the note and picked it up.
JohnKat Karkat paced the livingroom impatiently back and forth. He once again glanced at the clock. "Where is he?" he growled to himself. It was nearly midnight and he still wasn't home.JohnKat2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
After ten minutes of pacing, he got a text.
sorry i forgot to tell you. i'm not going to be home till really late.
Karkat rolled his eyes. That would've been nice to know a few hours ago. He had classes in the morning and staying up this late is going to kill him. He's not going to have any energy whatsoever. Maybe he would just call in sick tomorrow.
He sighed and headed towards the bedroom, crawling into the bed. After a while of tossing and turning, he fell asleep.
John returned home from work around three. The guy who was suppose to come in never did, so he ended up working two shifts. Now, all he wanted to do was go to bed. He had a feeling it was going to be a while. The human knew that he was probably going to get an earfu

Chapter Five: I can see no way
Green eyes slowly open to look around a room that was clearly not his. At the bedside stands a man who is familiar, and clearly not happy about him being in his room.
"Hello, Dean." Castiel greets and Dean groans.
"Son of a bitch…what time is it…?"
"Around 5, you have been unconscious for about three hours." He mumbles before the room falls silent. It's awkward, undeniably so, they have avoided each other since the dinner incident a while back. Yet here they are, alone in Castiel's room. The last situation either of them wanted.
Dean rolls over and buried his face into the pillow, the smell of Castiel bringing a red tint to his cheeks, "This is your bed isn't it?" He asks quietly and Castiel looks at him incredulously.
"Yes." He answers, choosing not to question how he knows.
"Still as organized as ever I see."
Castiel shrugs, "It works for me."
A nostalgic smile comes to Dean's face as he cl

Chapter two: Dealing with a drunk
Castiel lies in the dark bedroom, tossing and turning as he desperately tries to sleep despite the nagging feeling that Dean needs help. Well, obviously the man needs help; he willingly went to Crowley's and stayed for three hours so there's obviously a few screws loose in there. But all joking aside, he was seriously growing concerned. Glancing at the clock he groans when he sees the time; 2:30 A.M., he should be asleep right now.
He makes the decision to call Sam, since they all gave one another their numbers earlier that day, just to see if Dean had called him. No answer. Gabriel doesn't answer his either. Of course, a normal person would be asleep right now after a long day of settling into your new home. Not Dean though, of course not, not his roommate.
The small creaks from the bed grow louder as he slowly crawls out of bed, his eyes narrowing in distaste at what he i
Anatomy Discovery (Johnkat) (Chap 1)"What the FUCK Egbert!? Stop leaving your stupid ass junk round the house!" The grey troll bellowed as he glared at the spectacled human with great annoyance. Dangling from his clawed fingers was Johns beagle puss glasses. The spectacled fucktard was always leaving his stuff around, and due to his short temper could not stand it in the slightest. John, who was busy communicating on Pesterchum curiously turned around to face the infuriated troll. "Hey, calm down Karkat. People forget things ." Completely indulged in ferocity, Karkat took Johns response as an insult. "FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!" Chapter One: The boy in the woods
Crescent Meadows is a pretty small village, nestled in a valley and surrounded by neighboring towns no one has ever heard of. In fact, to get to the closest place anyone knows of takes at least three hours. And even then it’s pretty iffy. The village is relatively dull, nothing of note happening very often. The last big thing to happen was the disappearance of a boy over a decade ago. Nikolas Winters, a fifteen year old that arrived home at 10:30 one night, only to have vanished by the next morning.
The town is split in who thinks it was his family, and who thinks it was someone else, but even that drama has died down in the last six years. The parents, Nora and Robert, have since moved on; having three more children and never mentioning him once. It’s relatively suspicious, at least to one local raven haired boy named Alexander Roland and his best friend Kri

Chapter Eleven: Cue the friends
Dean yawns and wakes up, looking beside him to see Castiel sound asleep. He feels a little nervous but fights the urge to run. "Morning Cas." His voice is quiet, making sure not to talk to loudly to wake him up.
"Morning." Castiel mumbles, opening his eyes to look at the man beside him. "Feeling better?"
Dean grins, "Yes and I didn’t even hurl in your bed, so I guess that warrants future access?" He teases and Castiel smiles a little.
"I'll think about it."
"Ohhhh so now you're going to play hard to get?"
Castiel shrugs as he gets out of bed, "A taste of your own medicine."
Dean laughs a little, watching Castiel head to the bathroom. "Harsh, Cas, harsh." He gets up and begins to dress, hearing the sound of the shower as he thinks over the fact he actually slept with Castiel. Well, only in the most innocent sense, but it's still something. He's slept with a m

Chapter Four: I'll get around it
Sam stares at his roommate curiously. He has known Gabriel since he was two, before he could form coherent sentences, but ten years of distance and a four year gap in age is still a lot for someone to keep their childhood crush. Yes, Sam has had a crush on Gabriel since he knew what the word meant. Gabriel was always there to hang out with him when they were little and Dean was too wrapped up in Castiel. Of course it was mostly playing tricks on him but he still loved it.
Honestly he's amazed at his good (or is it bad?) luck of getting Gabriel as his roommate. It's been over a week since they moved into the dorms, and two days since classes started, and the two are getting along great. Everyone else, except Castiel and Dean, are too. They all talk about their majors and what they look forward to the most when they graduate. While he is going to be a lawyer, Castiel is there for fu

Chapter Eight: There but for the grace of god go I
Castiel wakes up with his head on Dean's shoulder and the older man's face seemingly buried in his hair. He shifts a little, the strain in his neck from his position growing as he wonders when Gabriel will let them out. Almost on cue, he hears footsteps outside and quickly moves away from a still sleeping Dean, gently resting him against the wall as he heads over to the door.
"Cassie, are you the one at the door?" Gabriel whispers and Castiel leans forward to whisper back.
"Yes, Gabriel, we have made up so you can let us out now."
"Have you really?" The skepticism is insulting, although admittedly warranted.
"Yes, Gabriel, now let us out. I miss my bed." Castiel huffs, crossing his arms and glaring at the door in spite of knowing Gabriel can't see it.
"You're giving me that indignant look right now, aren't you? With yours arms crossed and your ado

Chapter One: Breathe in
Dean lost his mother when he was four, his father turning to alcohol and his work at the garage to cope while he was passed to family and friends to be watched. Because of the lack of a maternal instinct, Dean was a very strong willed child and came off as rough, intimidating those younger than him. This was the case when he first met a curly haired brunette named Castiel. The boy was three and dressed in a strange outfit with wings on the back, sewn on by his strange adoptive parents Becky and Chuck. He was brought to Dean's house to play with his two year old brother, the two hitting it off easily. His older brother, a six year old named Gabriel, came along as well. Dean tried to play with him but the boy was so annoying he couldn’t help but run and hide from him. It was at that time Castiel and Dean truly met.
Sitting in a closet to avoid Gabriel and his constant pranks, Dean is sur

"Uh... was that Pewdie?" I said, hesitantly.
"I-I think it was." Mr. Chair answered.
"We should go check it out." I said, getting out of the bed.
"Hell no, I'm staying here, all safe and sound, I need my beauty sleep, I need to be sexy!" Piggeh said, getting back in the bed.
"Piggeh, you would need hibernation in order to be 'sexy'." I muttered under my breath as I put on my shoes. Mr. Chair and I walked out quietly, in case there was monsters anywhere, luckily, there wasn't. When we reached Pewdie and Stephano's room, we saw the door lying in pieces everywhere. I peeked in to see if there was anything. There was, and that something was Pewdie, who was huddled in a corner, shaking.
"Pewdie...?" I whispered quietly, but loud enough for him to hear. He looked up and ran to me, engulfing me in a hug. He hugged me so tight that I thought my eyes would pop out of my skull. Pewdie t

I have no specific place to call home
I am not crowded, nor am I alone
For I will forever flow

Chapter Three: I can never leave the past behind
Castiel wakes up around midnight to the sound of something thudding against his wall. The wall that holds a certain Dean Winchester on the other side. Groaning, Castiel rolls over, figuring it is just one of them moving in their sleep and hitting the wall. It goes quiet again thankfully and he begins to fall asleep when…
Thunk! Thunk! Thunk! Thunk!
"Dean! Winchester!" Castiel hisses, waking Balthazar and making the man look at him curiously.
"That is a very weird orgasm voice, Cassie." He teases, earning a harsh glare from the boy.
Castiel does not sleep much, or well, so when he actually manages to get to sleep he does not take interruptions well. "That is not what is happening Balthazar. That idiot is hitting the wall."
"Well, hit back." Balthazar suggests, earning an incredulous look from the teen. "Don't give me tha

Dean stares across the table at his brother and Gabriel sharing a drink while they wait for the waitress to bring Sam's. "This waiter is shitty."
"Dean, be nice." Castiel sighs, "He's busy."
"If I have to watch my brother share a drink with Gabriel for one more minute, I'm gonna-!" Dean gets cut off by the waiter returning with Sam's drink.
"Sorry for the wait!" He apologizes, smiling at all of them.
"No worries." Castiel says, returning the smile to distract him from Dean's scowl.
"Yes, well I will return shortly with your meals!" The man quickly walks away.
"So…." Gabriel begins, leaning back in his seat, "Christmas break…or 'winter vacation' is coming up. What are you planning, Cassie?" He asks and his brother shrugs.
"I was thinking of helping at the church with the children and whatnot." Castiel answers, "Hopefully they will give me a cot."

Chapter Nine: And I'm ready to hope
Apparently Balthazar being right can, in fact, be something good.
The small brush of lips that Dean initiates is quickly escalated to an open mouth kiss, both of them panting and groping into it. Castiel never expected this to happen and before he can really take the time to rationalize it his hands are running up Dean's sides before sprawling out on his chest. It's incredible, finally getting to kiss Dean. However, as amazing as it is, air inevitably wins out Castiel's desire to let Dean devour his face, as he is very much trying to.
"Dean," Castiel murmurs against Dean's lips as the man's hands continue groping him, "Dean I need….air…"
"Oh," When Dean finally pulls away he rests his forehead on Castiel's, an unsure look on his face, "Sorry."
"You really don't seem sorry." Castiel mumbles, smiling a little, "You know I think I saw a field of flowers down

Castiel Novak is nervous. You can't tell from the look on his face, but he's apprehensive as he enters his new dorm building for the first time. It's a good college, fairly prestigious for New York, so Castiel was expecting no less than pristine condition, in regards to the buildings at least. The people are far less wholesome. Already he spots some men hitting on the RA, a girl named Anna that he met through his brother Gabriel who also has a dorm room here.
In all honesty, Castiel had desperately prayed he would be allowed to share a room with his brother and ensure no unnecessary association with one of those fools who come to college simply with the interest of partying. Sadly, in some cruel twist of irony each Novak has become stuck with a member of the Winchester family, whoever they are. Castiel is stuck with one named Dean, a twenty-two year old just starting college. Not t

Chapter One: The man with the brother's complex
Castiel has been dragged into a lot of things thanks to Gabriel. However, never in his years would he have expected something this stupid. In front of him is a sophomore, a very disgruntled sophomore at that. Sure, friends of his brother's one night stands have come to yell at him since he is younger and more fragile looking, apparently, but never has it been a brother.
"I think your brother is dating mine." The man, something Winchester, since he's no doubt talking about Gabriel's friend Sam, practically growls out. His voice is low, full of rage, and Castiel would honestly be worried if it weren't for this happening at least once a month every semester before this one.
"Sam and Gabriel are just friends, I am fairly sure." Castiel responds, keeping his eyes on the guy. "You can ask your brother, however, if you really want to know."
"He won't talk to me about Gabrie
A Peek to the Present -GamTav/GHBSum-A trembling could be felt in his skin, mirrored in my own. It was a tremor born of lust, the simple contact of my fingertips on his arm the cause of it. From relaxation to alert tension, his body responded in ways only youth and love allowed. From his inner arm to his bicep, from his bicep to shoulder, my hand roamed of its own accord, seeking more of his quivering, watching carefully as his sepia eyes hazed and dilated with adoration.A Peek to the Present -GamTav/GHBSum-2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
The name came on a heated sigh, and despite my mind's cries of 'too soon, too soon', our lips were upon each other in a vaguely familiar dance. Pressure then lax, shift and turn, bumping noses with a whispering set of giggles. The steps were becoming second nature fast, given the frequent lessons under sun, moon, and rooftop. We were still young, innocent hearts in blossoming bodies. Breaking away was nearly painful, but we kept close, noses brushing as we pressed light noisy kisses upon one another's lips to keep the hurt at bay.

Chapter Six: Stuck still no turning back
Castiel sneaks out of his room, praying not to meet with Dean, who is doing the same thing. He quietly tiptoes down the hall, books close to his chest as he heads to his first class of the day. When he finally reaches the end of the hall he lets out a heavy sigh of relief. "Thank good-!" His words quickly fall as he and Dean look at each other in horror.
"Fuck!" Dean hisses, turning around and heading the opposite way as Castiel turns and goes out the back way of the dorm. It has been way too awkward, and tense, but mostly awkward, between to two of them since the crash. Everyone now knows how much Castiel still cares about Dean and how Dean got hurt because he was thinking of Castiel. Including each other, which is the part that is keeping them away. How are they supposed to go back to everything? Just admit that they still care? Dean doesn't think he deserves h
