The one thing they had never discussed was why they were feared by humans. Jeff, who was eating old trail mix he found collecting dust in the cabinet, finally asked:
"Ben, what makes you so..paranormal?"
"well..." Ben said, glancing around at objects in Jeff's old house. His dark eyes finally settled on a CD player. "...I can posses and travel through electronic devices". He then turned into a glowing teal mist and flew through the CD player. It then loudly started playing a Brittany Spears song. The sudden loud sound made Jeff fall off of the couch, spilling the trail mix everywhere. He cringed and threw his hands over his ears. "I GET IT! I GET IT!!" Jeff shouted over the loud music.

Jeff woke up sweating and almost crying. His vision was blocked by a towel he had put over his never-closing eyes. He immediately ripped the towel off his face and looked around. He slowly stopped hyperventilating, and calmed down. It had only been a nightmare, but his memory was hazy. He was laying on the couch of his living room, and it was still late at night. Ben had already left, back into the cyber world. One thing he remembered about his dream was that Liu was there. He was yelling at Jeff in an unknown language. Liu looked angry in the dream, and his clothes were soaked in blood. That's all Jeff could remember.
