how to improve at drawing: a guideSo as I sit and read my comments, I found that alot of people want to know how to improve.how to improve at drawing: a guide1 year ago in Personal More Like This
I'm betting you are tired of hearing people say "practice"?
Well for me, improving is not instant. I may not even notice it, but every time I draw im improving a little.
How to Improve:
Draw all the time, draw everything you see, draw what you want to draw, draw in other peoples styles, draw realistic, draw cartoon, anything. JUST DRAW. Do it all the time. Draw in your notebooks and on your homework.
Do you hate the way you draw eyes? Maybe your paws/hands need more practice? Then find references and use them. I personally don't always find the time to use references, but I find when I do, my art is 10x better. Just practice drawing those eyes you've never gotten quite right. Look at other art and see what you really like about their style. And then try it out.
Now that you've practiced a bit more, draw somethin

I hope it helps!
1. You need a draw.
Ill be using a old one of cake!
2. Save/Export it as BMP! This is important, if you dont save it as .bmp the glitching wont work!
3. Now that you have your .bmp file open it in WORDPAD, yes the normal text editing program!
4. And after you opened it in wordpad it will prolly look something like this:
5. DONT CHANGE ANYTHING!
Just click save!
4. And after that, your picture will look something like this:
And that's it!
If you want a different glitch version just open A COPY of your drawing (bmp) and drag a picture or gif file into the code!
Pokemon X and Y Shiny Chaining GuideHi All! Since I got pretty good at chaining, I decided to share how I do it~ Now remember, everyone has their own ways of chaining! You can find your own method or try another! This is the way I chain for shiny pokemon :3 And sorry if there is any confusion with this guide, I'm not very good at explaining things!Pokemon X and Y Shiny Chaining Guide9 months ago in Personal More Like This
>>WHAT YOU NEED:
+Poke Radar (Obtained after you beat the game. It is on the second floor of Prof. Sycamore’s lab.)
+TONS of Repels. At least 300 to 500. I usually buy the Super Repels since they are cheaper than Max Repels. But use whichever repel you want to! As long as you have a lot, it won't matter.
+A pretty big patch to chain in. You can chain in smaller ones, but I’d recommend a big one if you’re just starting. The best patches to chain in are the big green grass patch on Route 7 near the caves, Pokemon Village, and the large patch of purple flowers on Route 5 just before Camphrier Town.

Options are: Icon, headshot, bust, fullbody, reference sheet (of one OC in different poses/angles including descriptions) or a complete scene (including multiple, interacting characters, also as part of the background)

these are the rarity charts for mantibabs.
Blue shows the very common traits found in the species. very beautiful to bab society.
purple is uncommon. some uncommon traits are beautiful to babs while others are made fun of, hated, considered ugly.
pink traits are rare. some pink traits are thought of as gorgeous, blessed, sought after. while others are thought of as bad omens, disgusting, shunned.
Grey and Black traits are extremely rare/illegal. these are unheard of, babs are afraid of them and hold nothing but animosity towards these traits. mantibabs with these traits have a 90% chance of being killed and a 10% chance of being left out in the wild, abandoned, left to die.

$1 USD = 100
The following prices are dependent on how detailed your request is and estimated time taken for each commission.
I'm more than happy to negotiate on pricing to a certain extent.
Price is also negotiable for each additional character in requested image.
To specify, this category is for my own experimental purposes.
I'll draw your character(s) how I please and with a shading/coloring technique of my choice.
This also means I can choose to draw them full-bodied or not.
This is the "mystery grab bag" of commission choices.
$2-10 USD / 200 - 1000

Shaving Faux fur:
For Faux fur plushie makers, You should invest in a WAHl Kennel Pro, I bought two Andis clippers, both gave out after trimming faux fur for a few min. Also Make sure to keep your Clippers oiled and cleaned after using.
I recommend trim the Faux fur first before cutting out the pattern, so if you do cut too deep you can always make a new piece to replace it before sewing your plush together. Make sure to trim with the fur pile not against it, or you will just cut all the fur off, you want to trim it not make it bald.
Keep in mind being a plush artist gets very pricey, with Faux fur some fur colors are rare and you will some

And id like to publish the result.EXPERIMENT RESULT (HOW TO GET POPULAR ON DA)1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Just so you know, getting popular on da don't really help you improve ur art skills wish to me is the most important thing of all.
First of all, i hawe to tell you that i named submissions after the style i used, for example:
Submission 1A here and submission 1D
The 1A style is Thin line-arted with colorful shadows, and 1D is semi realism.
The 1A style allowed me to produce more art a day (since it takes less time to produce).
I submited around 2 a day and gained 8 watchers a day. But not much comments and favs. Since The 1A submissions where so close in date, my watchers could not comment on all of em.
But the styleA FAN ART got much more attention.
Fan art gets more attention since they often have huge fan bases. So when people

Now, a lot of you guys out there are probably saying,
"Ugh what's she trying to say her dogs are just fat with swirl tailz!11"
Well, that may be, but if they were really as plain as a fat, swirly tailed anthro, they probably wouldn't sell as well nor be renowned for the traits that set them apart from the rest, which I'll delve into later.
So, here are some tips to creating something fun, successful (if you put in the work), and original!
For starters, pick an animal or creature to base your species off of.
Pick an animal you don't see used too often, OR pick something you KNOW you can give original traits.
What I mean by the above statement, is that if you pick a common animal, like a dog or cat, and basing them off of drinks or biomes (desert, forest, beaches), ec

This is the first part of a tutorial series that I will be working on in the future and will be released whenever I find the time for it.
In order to know how I can make them better and to make it easier for you to understand the things I am talking about it would be appreciated if you would leave some feedback!
For this tutorial series I am explaining different elements you can create or modify with the help of CSS. The level of experience that is needed to be able to understand the tutorials can differ and will be in no order. I will try to explain the things as simple as possible though.
To create a scrollbox you don’t need much, just a box with a limited height or width in order to enforce the scrollbar. If you don’t limit the dimensions of the box it will adjust itself to the space given by the browser resolution and settings.
The limited dimension itself doesn’t create the scrollbar,

This is a Color Wheel that shows all the colors and how they are aligned with one another.
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown etc.
Now let's learn more about these colors
The Primary Colors
Q: What are Primary Colors?
They're the main colors in a color wheel that can be blended to create other colors
The Primary Colors are Red, Yellow, and Blue.
Pokemon X and Y - The shiny fishing methodHey guys!Pokemon X and Y - The shiny fishing method1 year ago in Personal More Like This
So, some of you may be wondering why if all sudden everyone is finding shiny fish pokemon but don't tell you how. Well, here you go.
Recently a new way of finding shinies easily and fast was discovered. To be said right from the start, this only works with Pokémon that you can fish for in X and Y.
The method started to circulate yesterday due to the NPC that hands you the Super Rod saying:
"This is just a rumor, but word is that you can catch some rare Pokemon through consecutive fishing!"
It is very likely the rare Pokémon he is talking about are in fact shiny Pokémon. The method below has been discovered and tested by many. I myself have tried it and obtained shiny Relicanth, Dragalge and Poliwhirl with it, two of my friends got shiny Seadras and my boyfriend got shiny Clauncher.
What to do:
- Find a Pokémon with Suction Cups or Sticky Hold for their ability. In gen 6, Octillery and Inkay are easily obtainable Pokémon that can have Suction Cups. Gulpin and Tru

commissions? check my journals or the link on my profile.
How long have I been pixeling?
-Since late 2011.
How do you achive such soft looking shading on your pixels? Do you stick only to the pencil/fill tools, or do you utilize brushes?
Or do you just use enough colors to make it blend nicely?
-OPACITY there I spilled the beans countless times now.. opacity with the pencil tool. It just helps me finish pixels faster and keeps me in touch with my painterly-side lol.
I DONT USE THE DAMN BRUSH TOOL. JUST LEARN TO USE THE PENCIL TOOL'S OPACITY SETTINGS. ITS AMAZING...
smooths everything out. but leaves it pixelated. If you use the brush tool. im pretty sure its gonna look blurry
What program do you use?
-photoshop cs3, I suggest you learn photoshop cuz I love it/plus its free lol

Tips For Commission ArtistsHello! I thought of making this small guide, based from my personal experience, to give tips to artists, mostly beginners, to be more successful at selling commissions, since seeing from my previous journal many had difficulty with it. So here are some tips to help boosting your sales.Tips For Commission Artists4 months ago in Deviant Events More Like This
Have your commission info somewhere visible
Possibly, people won't even know you are taking commissions or if they are open if you don't put your commission info somewhere they can see. You can do this in a journal, that I mostly recommend, since it will be showing into your watcher's inboxes and most of your watchers probably rarely visit your profile page. You could still also use the commission widget, or donation poll to write your info. You can also link to your commission info in your signature or the artist's comment of new drawings you upload.
Keep it simple
Don't add too many unnecessary rules or in

So I'll help you get started by supplying some information and also recommending a couple very nice and informative tutorials about Flash. Plus don't be discouraged if you suck at drawing in Flash, I provided a fair amount of information for an alternative solution at the end!
What you need:
- Flash* (any kind of Flash where you can write Action Script 2.0... NOT Action Script 3.0, these tutorials cover AS 2.0)
*If you're wondering what kind of Flash I use, I'll tell you. I use a super old school Flash that does the job juuust fine. It's called Macromedia Flash MX, also known as "Flash 6.0 r25" Yuuuup, really old. I've had it since junior year in high school (approx. 5 years). I have Flash Professional CS5, and it looks pretty much the same as Flash 6, so don't worry.
