Jason Todd was the second Robin after Dick left to lead the Teen Titans. Batman found him on the streets after he tried to steal the tires of the batmoble . He would later adopt him and train him to become Robin. However Jason differed from Dick in that he was far more brutal in battle, not even giving criminals the option of retreating. Still his heart was in the right place. Fast forward several years and Jason is kidnapped by the Joker, beaten viciously with a crowbar, and then left alone in a room with a bomb. Batman tries to rescue Jason but the bomb explodes, killing Jason, mere moments before Batman reaches him. Bruce would later go into a brief depression and consider Jason's death his "ultimate failure".
A Poke'mon Bottle I painted for a friend's birthday-both Ninetales normal and shiny colorations along with glitter dots over the transparent background so it will look cool when behind a light source. Fabric paint on glass.
After Jason was killed by the Joker and buried, his body was obtained by Ra's al Ghul who felt guilty for collaborating with the Joker and indirectly causing the death of an innocent. Ra's used the Lazarus Pit to revive Jason but the process took a turn for the worst when Jason went on a violent and mindless rampage that took him over a cliff. It was assumed Jason had died "again" but years later he would return to Gotham under the moniker of the Red Hood. Jason no longer identified with Batman and made it his new purpose in life to clean up the streets of Gotham of crime. But instead of doing it with a code of honor like Batman, Jason turned to executing the criminals himself. Ultimately Jason wishes to kill the Joker since he's the reason he died in the first place.
I have been hearing lots about Adventure Time and seeing tons of fanart of it so I finally decided to watch a few episodes and make some fanart of my own as well!! I made some plush keychains too but I am waiting for parts so they are not complete yet...in the mean time I finished these clay charms ^^
Starting with Katamari, I guess I like to make a series of charms of interesting looking characters to challenge myself. Next was Angry Birds, then Mameshiba... I now want to create a series of Candy People charms because I think their designs are really cute!! I hope to make more popular ones....(like Earl of Lemongrab because I really like him )
To start, I made Peppermint Butler, Candy Magician and a Cupcake Person. They are a little big (keychain-size) but I'm not too confident their arms and legs will hold (even though I reinforced them with wire inside) so they will be funky necklace pendants.
I only made these three for now and it took me a while...@_@ It's funny because I posted two WIP videos of these using the Vine app on my ipod, and people left comments like 'can you make me a batch?' and 'i wouldn't mind buying a set!' and I'm thinking, you honestly have NO IDEA how much work is needed to make just these three, let alone a whole set. You are better off buying a plastic figure of the character and making your own accessory... >__< But of course...I like to do things my way. They were fun to paint though so I will be making more if I have the time
Handmade with Sculpey oven-bake polymer clay and painted with acrylics, varnished with Varathane.
I made a new 3DS case, but now for my 3DS XL This time I made it with the Pokemon theme because of the new Pokemon X/Y! (I made it before buying the game, but only had time to upload the picture now...) It's in the same shape of the Zelda themed one I made for my small 3DS, but now it's crocheted ^^
