Big, sparkling drown eyes filled with tears. They belonged to a sad little boy only about the age of six. He had raven black hair, wore a dark oversized coat, corduroy shorts and a blue t-shirt which was currently waded up in his tiny fists. A couple of salty tears hit the grass as he watched all the other kids either play games with each other or stop to give him weird looks. He sniffed once more turning and running around to the back of the school. No one cared. Soon he was forgotten as if no one noticed he was standing there in the first place.
The little boy ran until he reached the back fence. He fell on his knees shaking with quiet sobs. Suddenly there was a bright pink flash coming from the opposite side of a hill that stood just a few yards away from the fencing. His head snapped up to see. Unlike others would have he didn’t feel a

Prologue: From the Rugrats episode "Angelica's Birthday", Angelica feared growing up and taking on new responsibilities. So she dressed up, and acted like a baby in order to avoid growing up.
Angelica Pickles, the blonde haired little brat of a girl, stood as high as her tippy toes would allow whilst she hold onto the plastic bar, bordering her in her chosen prison.
“She’ll never get anywhere with those sissy swings.” Angelica stated, watching little Susie swing at the green Reptar piñata. “I’m going out there.” Said the dolled-up girl, in her blue doll dress, padded rear and grassy green bonnet that matched her bow tie. After watching Angelica drop her pacifier and kick up her leg over the walls of the crib, Lil from across the cage called out.
“Wait Angelica!” She said in her high-pitched tone of voice before her brother t

I watched my parents pull out of the driveway in their car, and speed away. I was being left home alone with my three younger sisters. Hannah (the oldest of the three, six years old), Emily (Second oldest, five years old) and Mandy (my youngest sister). I was to babysit them for a full week and a half while my parents left for a giant business trip in Egypt. I have an older sister also, but she lives out of the house, across town with her boyfriend, so I don't see her all that often.
The first few hours were easy. Us four watched TV, played a few simple board games, ate pizza for dinner, and did all sorts of stuff. Their bedtime came before I knew it. Just as typical for girls their age, none of them wanted to go to sleep. I decided to put Mandy to bed first... she was youngest, she would need more sleep, right?

Mrs. Berbrin sighed, putting on her earrings in the mirror. Friday night in mild weather, she and her husband were going to go out to dinner and a show. Of course, they had to break this news to their son.
"That's right, a babysitter. Nine's way too young to be spending a night alone."
The nine-year-old in question, Kevin Berbrin, held both his arms out, as though asking his mom to look at him, "C'mon! I'm in the fourth grade now! You probably let Geoff stay by himself when he was my age!"
"Actually, we kept him with a babysitter until he was twelve," claimed the boy's mother, sitting on the bed and slipping on her high heeled shoes. "When you're that age, maybe we'll talk."
"Twelve?!" Kevin's prepubescent voice reached a heightened pitch from the anger of the injustice of it all, "You're gonna give me a sitter 'til I'm twelve?"
"If you keep acting like this whenever we go out, I might do it even longer," she added, quite annoyed by this point. Once her shoes were on,

The kingdom of Arendelle was as still as could be as the grey night skies looked down upon it, the shops were closed with their owners having been snuggled under their sheets for hours, the sea was nearly still with only gentle waves cascading to shore, the only noises on the docked ships were the occasional scamper of a rat as it searched for food and the cry of the nocturnal cat as it caught wind of its midnight meal, and with the clouds covering it not even the sky was awake, it was almost as though the sky too was sleeping and had been since early afternoon.
A sleeping sky was very good news for the king and queen, their youngest daughter, who was just under five years old, Princess Anna took an early fascination with the night sky and th

“You’re welcome sweety.” Olivia’s mom said.
Olivia rolled her eyes. Her three year old sister’s family birthday party was taking so long. Did no one care about her schedule? She had a date with the cutest boy in the school tonight, possibly her one and only chance to become popular, and this little party that Maggie would never remember had taken at least an hour. Her dad was fidgeting next to her too. He was missing a football game for this.
“I’m going upstairs to get ready.” She said, getting up off the couch. Her mom caught her arm and pulled her back down.
“Just one more. Five more minutes won’t hurt.”
Maggie moved painstakingly slowly back to the pile of gifts and picked up the last wrapped one. She tore at the wrapping paper and finally unearthed a baby doll.
“Thank you mommy.”

The last thing she remembered was the teleporter flashing, and the beams of light blasting across the room. But, where was she now?
Tak's eyes finally opened.
She glanced around, looking for some sort of an explanation. It was a lab, obviously in space, for the stars sparkled outside of the windows and space chunks littered the sky. But, who's lab was it?
Tak's shoulders tenesed and her antennae began to bristle. She turned around, seeing a tall, teenage girl, holding a gaming device in one hand and a soda in The other.
"You're Tak, right?"
Tak began to recognize this young woman soon enough. "Gaz...?"
The girl just gave a nod.
Swallowing and pushing back her anntennae, Tak looked back up her.
"Do...you know where we are?"
Gaz shrugged. "Zim's lab, I guess. Dib sent me here for a super weapon or something, but,"
