Author's Note: This fic came to me after I heard, then saw the video for, the A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera duet "Say Something". It struck something in me and... well, this story is what came of it. If you haven't heard it, it can be found here: Say Something.
Usage of the cover image, entitled "Mission failed" was granted by artist f19850928.
Warning: I never thought I would write one of these, but it turns out I was wrong. Not only is this a sonfic (something I'm not a big fan of) but it is also a Death!Fic.

All the chibis were fighting with each other (heroes vs villans). You giggled at them and they stare at you. You pick them and hugged them. They squeak in a cute tone and the heroes ones hugged you back. You layed onto your bed but your eyes caugh a little masked guy. He has alot of guns and he was equiped by bullets and a sword. He was playing with a knife while he was checking his laptop something about his next victim. You pick the little one and he groaned annoyed.
- You're getting annoying- he said in a chibi nonchalent tone but you could hear an annoyed voice. You rubbed his head slowly.
-You are a cute mercenary. May i ask your name?-
-Just call me Deathstroke...
-His name is Slade Wilson! and he was our worst enemy!!- little Dick Grayson hissed angrily glaring at the mercenary who seems careless about the boy's reaction.

Author's Note: So, I've been rewatching the series, gearing up for the relaunch this friday (SQUEEE!) and as I was watching 'Depths' this bunny started nibbling and I couldn't shake it. I had to write it. I didn't want to - man, I really didn't want to! - but I did anyway and here it is. I hate it. Uterly, totally, comlpetely, and all because it made me cry. I kid not. Full on sobbing while I wrote it and I really don't want to post, but I will anyway because they say misery loves company and so I'm taking you all down with me!
The sharp intake of air was the first indication that things had gone wrong.
The battle on the beach came to an abrupt halt as the two powerhouses stopped, face to face and chest to chest.
No one moved, no one dared breathe.
And then Aqualad jerked his arm forward and plunged the blade of water completely through Nightwing's sternum and out between his shoulder blades.
"You lose," Kaldur hissed in his former teammates face and pulled the
Ultimate Spider-BloatAs the city streets glowed under the bright lights of New York City. Spider-Man could hear the cheers and jeers he often did as he swung through. Tonight though wasn't so much the usual routine of swinging around aimlessly until trouble showed up. Tonight he had gotten a text message about a friend wanting to meet him in a hidden area. So traveling to the rooftop in question. Spider-Man skidded to a stop glancing back down at his text. "Man if this is another set-up I should just get a new phone number…" Spider-Man stated to himself.Ultimate Spider-Bloat1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This
"You're late..." Danny Rand, aka Iron Fist walked out of the shadows. Dressed in his green and yellow attire. The mask covering the top of his head. "Sorry about the text, Luke wouldn't let me use a voice call. Something about it costing more."
"Hey I'll have you know I'm a very busy man. Lots of…" At that moment Spider-Man couldn't really think of what he had going that night. Besides another quiet night at the house doing
Skipper Arrowtree: New TargetThe dim glow of the morning sun prompted his eyes to open. He rubbed the blur from them as he sat up in bed. 7:32 am. Too early by most sane people's standards, but he had classes today. Better get up before I fall back down, he thought. He clumsily got to his feet and shuffled to the bathroom. He bathed his face in cool water before taking a close look at it in the mirror. The late nights were starting to leave their mark.Skipper Arrowtree: New Target3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Even as a child, Skipper could have never envisioned a life like this. It was the kind of stuff you'd find in Saturday morning cartoons; college student by day, fighting hideous mutant creatures by night, with incredible superhuman powers. Superhuman, maybe, but in Skipper's case, they were just plain weird. The whole thing could've been prevented, if only he hadn't put his arm near that anemone. He shook his head. There was no use in thinking like that. Obviously there was a reason for all this to happen. He just had to make the most of it. Aside from all the resul
Fantastic ExpansionBeing in the Fantastic Four meant always being ready for anything. Some days are hectic, filled with bad guy after bad guy, near disaster after near disaster. Today though wasn’t really one of those days. No emergencies, no Doom, No Nick Fury. Nothing. Reed Richards took it all in stride. Spending the day in his lab, still in his blue, white, and orange unstable molecule suit. He had just finished up a prototype when he glanced over at the nearby computer screen rubbing his eyes. 11:23 pm. Reed sighed realizing the day had now come and gone. It was then hearing the quiet that made him think for a moment. Something he was well used too but it was a different matter all together.Fantastic Expansion1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This
He stretched his head out of the lab, looking down the halls and seeing that his teammates, Johnny Storm, Ben Grimm, and his girlfriend Susan Storm, were all asleep. Reed smirked slightly, as he retracted his head back to his body.

I've lost it all. And I could've saved them.
I overheard the conversation with the killer...talking about my family. I didn't give it much thought...which made it the biggest mistake of my life. Only hours later did I realize...he was out to kill my family.
Then Bruce took me in. I thought I was fine. Being Robin was...amazing. It was even more amazing that I worked side by side with THE Batman. Even so,I missed the ones I lost and had much more to lose.
Soon,I began to drift away from Bruce. We began to fight more, disagree more..and become less of a family. I moved away and became Nightwing.
Being Nightwing was just as fun as being Robin...but it was definitely more heart-aching. I always missed my parents, and then I missed Bruce. This was why I was mad when I found out that I had a successor:Jason Todd. My only little brother, and I treated him horribly. I was a terrible example to him. I've always wanted a little brother, then when I got one on a silver platter,I ref

Dr. Strange was giving it as a present to Charles Xavier, with Bobby tasked with going to Strange’s mansion and picking it up. Although when he returned Xavier left for important matters. Author's Note: A while back, I held a poll on which RiD one-shot I would write next. This one came in 4th on Deviant Art with 13% of the vote and 3rd on with 14% of the vote. I've tried to write the others before it, but they weren't cooperating so here we are!
This has been a nibble in my mind for a while now and I think I've broken through my writer's block enough to get this out. I hope it meets my expectations as well as yours. It begins during the battle on Malina Island at the end of the second season episode "Alienated".

Batman was on his usual night patrol. He made the roof top of a tall building as his operating point, from where he could have a clear view of the street, especially the museum, which, according to his sources, is the site of action for the night. He was alone. He insisted Robin to stay out of these chilly night patrols and concentrate on his studies. His grades were beginning to worry him. He had not faced such problem with Dick, he perfectly balanced between his studies and his work. Tim, on the other hand was so obsessed with his newly acquired Robin persona that he dreamt of flying the streets of Gotham all day. No wonder there was a protest from him to Bruce's decision, but the big man had the final word.
The night was colder than usual. Why could't Joker choose a better day to bother him? There was no reason why he should rob a museum, except to attract Batman's attention. "Crime is no fun withou

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is a continuation of my AU of the Episode "Depths". I've been working on this for a while and I'm rather pleased with how it turned out. I borrowed a bit from DC Comic "Nightwing #114", because it's one of my favorites and I really wanted it in my story. So I took it and rewrote it and put it here and I'm not sorry! LoL! Now, a lot of people have wanted this continuation, so I hope it meets with your expectations. Please, enjoy!
DISCLAIMER: Seriously, do I really have to do this again? I will if I have to, but by now you should all know that none of this is mine. It's really not. All recognizable DC Characters belong to DC Comics, and the story and plot belong to the Troll - *WHAP!* - Muse. I'm just the person who gets to type it up.

"Door's open, come in!" he called and his sister's smiling head appeared in the doorway.

"Of course. What's up?"
Jade went in and closed the door, then she placed herself on Chris' bed and sighed.

Chris furrowed his brows. "I thought we had already solved this out?" he asked. "You had no idea that being shoes sucks, theref

Great. The rolling pin again. Indigo brandished that instrument of torture in her hands, then applied it to Kane's legs, flattening them out gently.
