Recently, I've been doing some illustration work for the DC Super Heroes line of chapter books, published by Stone Arch Books. The titles in this great series are aimed at younger readers. It's been a blast returning to my roots and drawing the characters of the DC animated universe -- and this time around, I'm inking and coloring, too!
This is the final cover illustration for "Batman Undercover," written by Paul Weissburg. I did the pencils and colors, and my pal Dan Davis handled the inks.
I decided to try the contest, too...with SHAZAM!!!
Captain Marvel first appeared in "WHIZ COMICS" #2 (1940) published by Fawcett, but due to some legal stuff, his publication stopped in 1953. Later on in 1972, he found a welcome home at DC Comics becoming one of the most popular characters in the DC universe. I drew the "NEW 52" version where he first made an appearance in a back story in "Justice League #7". No longer 'Captain Marvel', he is now only known as "SHAZAM"!
From left to right : Red Hood aka Jason Todd ( 2nd Robin ) , Red Robin aka Tim Drake ( 3rd Robin ) , Night-Wing aka Dick Grayson ( 1st Robin ) and finally..........oh come on ! You guys know who is it ! Batman aka Bruce Wayne ^^ FYI , this is my first time drawing something with MS Paint ! So please leave your advice or comment down below ! i'm trying my best to improve my drawing skill
This is part of the finale of my story involving Batman and Detective Yin revolving around The Mystery of Bruce Wayne. How he became who he is, why he didn't turn out the way he could've...or others did. Who trained him, who betrayed him, and who he may have betrayed.
Detective Yin finds all this out in more as she unravels the elaborate enigma behind who this seemingly mild businessman is, and what may have driven him to become one of Gotham's greatest heroes....as well as discover one of it's most feared villains, HUSH; a brilliant man with an ambition to end both Batman AND Bruce Wayne.
