My second and bigger final project at the animation school hamburg. I hesitated to upload this film here for very long, because I'm not completely happy with it as it is now and I want to change some things when I have the time. But as I will not get around to upload much art here in the next months, I think I can at least share it with you in its current state as a little excuse There will be a refined version somewhen in the not so near future, but right now I'm busy with finishing university. :'D
Of course I didn't make this film all on my own:
Animation: FX, automaton, robo-fish, lady: Daniel Leyva robo-fish, octopus: me lady: Johanna Oberbörsch
This is my November 11second club entry. It was pretty rushed at the end of the month, so I know it still needs a lot of work, and many fixes have been pointed out. I will return to this one and fix it when I put together my new showreel, but for now I'm done and want to focus on this months entry
At midnight on Saturday, I was struck with inspiration. I grabbed this rig and this audio (how these two fitted together in my head, I'm unsure) and heres the result I have always wanted to so a lipsync with this particular character.
Personal Animation school work from Media Design School, Auckland, NZ. Animated in Maya 2014. Rig credit to Roger Feron.
Wolf walk cycle we completed on our first week back to school, first formative of the 5 week creature component. Took about 3/4 days to complete this one. I'm pretty happy with the result though I'll look to make a few changes here and there and polish it a bit more. Any feedback is welcome, I'd like to have this piece perfect before putting it in a showreel. Any comments will be appreciated
Hey guys! Its been a while since Ive uploaded an animation, work has just kept me so busy. I must make more time for my animation. This is my August 11second club www.11secondclub.com/ entry. For the first time, I made it into the top 20, which I am thrilled about! The story I went with is that their relationship is not what it was, and she feels its time to move on.
