"Well, she's asleep. So of course she is," Kara said in a matter-of-factly tone added with the role of her blue eyes.
Kara didn't want to say it, but she was just as confused as her husband. She'd thought that the baby would pitch a fit and make a racket that could be heard from the far side of the cosmos--she may have even *anticipated* that.
"Maybe we're just lucky," she said, nodding her head. "Out of all the Legion parents, we get the nice, quiet, well-mannered baby."

A descent of villains and a hero, who passed on 12 - level intellect to him, Brainiac 5, also known as Querl Dox of Colu, developed from a clinical case of Antisocial Personality Disorder [ASPD] to a fairly rounded individual during his time as part of the Legion of Super-Heroes [LSH]. The definition of ASPD is someone who lacks empathy. They tend to be callous, cynical and contemptuous of the feelings rights and suffering of others. They can be excessively opinionated, self-assured or cocky. They feel that ordinary work is beneath them and have no true concern for the future. This was Brainiac 5 of the post Zero-Hour continuity.
-Interactions: Brainy's Opinion of Others-
Querl would be known as Brainy whether he want to to be or not, did not like others. Brainy never held back his opinions of his teammates or anyone else in the beginning. If Brain thought you were an idiot, he would tell you, without a si

“If anyone knows the Doctor, if anyone can find him...”
Mels whipped around in the hallway, her eyes staring at the TV screen. There was the Prime Minister, on national television, asking for the Doctor.
She gripped the change of clothes she’d snuck into the Pond’s house to get for Amy. Her hearts hammered.
He was in London.
She could see the ship floating over the city long before she roared into the environs. She’d boosted Jake’s Ferrari again. He was going to be pissed.
And she’d been following the reports on the radio. There had been sightings of a swordfight on top of the ship. Two figures, seen from a distance by the news helicopters.
She'd triangulated the sightings, and found his landing site. She stared at the furrow of earth plowed down the side of a hill in a public park.
The furrow was empty.

APH: Under the MistletoeIt's been a few months since I met Matthew Williams. I was the new guy at the academy and I didn't know anyone there (besides my step-sister of course). To be honest, I didn't want to go to the school. I was going to be a senior and staying here for only one year would be pointless. But Emma just kept pushing me into coming here and I eventually gave in, submitted an application and well, here I am. When I got here I didn't think I'd get along with anyone. Everyone had their own groups and seemed to know each other inside and out. But that was until I met him.APH: Under the Mistletoe4 years ago in Romance More Like This
It was purely by accident. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and I ended up crashing into him. He completely panicked afterwards after he saw me; insisting it was his fault but I assured him it was nothing. Though he didn't have time to stay and chat, he handed me his dorm number so we could have a proper get together in the near future. Best decision I've ever made.

I'm going to start this right off by saying that this is not a defense or glorification of all writers or fans of slash. I know there are plenty of slash writers who will slash anything that moves, and that a good deal of slash fiction out there is pointless smut. Is there anything wrong with this? No, there isn't, though it is not how I choose to operate at all. There are plenty of shippers of heterosexual pairings who also write nothing but pointless smut, but the difference is that every person who likes heterosexual pairings in a fandom is generally not automatically lumped together with these people, the way that all slash fans frequently are. I am writing this essay from the perspective of a writer who likes slash, but also likes well-thought out writing of any kind. I have written and drawn a great dea

There is no warmth in my heart when I think of her anymore. There is no feeling of lightness, but rather a heavy feeling, as if I were Atlas with the world on his shoulders. When I hear a song, any song really, it somehow speaks to me, reminds me of her. So I cry. A tear slips out here or there. Or in some cases, when the song is wordless and I have time to think, I hyper ventilate a bit, tears streaming down my face. My heart breaks and it hurts so much that I physically feel it in my chest. My head becomes light and I feel like my eyes are burning, that with every wipe of my hand across my face to wipe away the tears, I am pulling off the tender skin. I have to wonder if it hurts this bad for her too, or if I was just too invested and it bit me in the ass in the end. I don't regret loving her. Contraire I love that I loved her, but it hurts so much. There is no shortage of memories to make my heart clench, no absence of pain coursing through me, and certainly no surplus of

A heavy silence followed Krillin's exclamation, and everybody's attention turned towards the young crime fighter. Said crime fighter told herself that maybe she should have thought better before revealing the identity of her father. After all, these people were Gohan's friends, so it was obvious that they knew that her father didn't defeat Cell like he pretended to, and that it was in fact Gohan who had accomplished the feat. These people probably hated her father for what he did, and she couldn't blame them. She just hoped that they wouldn't judge her because she was her father's daughter; it wasn't her fault, after all.
"Is that true, Gohan?" Chichi asked her eldest. "Videl is really the daughter of this man?"
The young Saiya-jin scratched his head, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Didn't I tell you?"
"No " The mother of two looked at the girl who, she had hoped, would become her daughter-in-law. Although she knew that Videl didn't choose her father and

And I am regularly asking God, why he'd decide to be so cruel as to make me this way? It isn't any fair. In a world where everybody is homosexual. It is so hard for me. They point at me and whisper behind my back. Calling me nothing more than an animal. An animal! They say that if God intended us to be mindless animals that he wouldn't have given us the minds or the ability to create life without performing animalistic sex acts. They call me unnatural. What's wrong with me? Why am I this way? I sometimes wish I were a lesbian. Or at least bi-sexual. Although those poor souls are often being picked on for not "making up their minds". I cannot help how I feel. I cannot help who it is that I fall in love with, cannot control their gender any more than I can control my own.
Oh God. If I could be a homosexual, don't you think that I would?? To fit in, to be normal. I feel so conflicted. All my life I have been bought up to know that homosexuality was the norm

Through the Mist he led them to Avalon
Told them tales, and sang his Peterbird song
Following the trail, he led them through
But when they reached the end, the children couldn't belie

This is the year 2012, and we've come a long way since the older days of slavery, women being treated like objects, and inequality. However, there is one issue that is slow in catching up with the time.
What is this issue, you're asking?
We're making progress, but the progress is slow, and, in other countries, people are losing their lives and being treated as if their homosexuality is a disease. Homosexuality is not a disease. It is not a choice. When you tell someone that "Homosexuality is a choice", think about the words you're saying. Is heterosexuality a choice? No. If homosexuality was a choice, why would you think people would choose to be persecuted against? Why would you think that people would choose homosexuality, something that, in a lot of countries, a person can be killed over?
The answer is simple. Homosexuality is not a choice. We're born homosexual. It may not make its way to the surface until early or even later in life, but the fact remains. If a so ca

Chapter 1: Tragic Honeymoon
''Maka'' I looked deep into my green eyed love and now my beloved wife. We laid on the bed after an amazing night. Yesterdays ceremony had been perfect, our wedding was first in the church, I still remembered how amazing Maka had looked when her father took her to the alter, She had a plain silk wedding dress, a bouquet which contained blood red roses, her hair was braided and put up in a net coiffure with a tiara on her head and her face had a little make up which made her look gorgeous.
I remembered the moment we both said 'I do' and Maka had been crying with joy, I had only had tears in my eyes but at that moment we were so happy. Then the first dance at Kids mansion, it was magical, we both danced around as we looked into each others eyes, it felt like we danced for ages.
''Soul, we need food for breakfast, we need to eat.'' I snapped out from my memories and I looked at my wife laying in bed next to me. After the wedding
