“The difference between grace and mercy is simple.
Mercy is not getting what you deserve, and grace is getting
What you do not deserve.”
As Loki walked around the palace, he made his way to the gardens. He still couldn’t believe that Thor had simply let him go without a punishment. Yes, he had sentenced Loki to imprisonment in the palace, but it was no different from what his life had been before he’d escaped to Jotunheim. There was no added stipulation, there was no privilege removed. Nothing had changed.
He continued to walk, lost in his thoughts, until he heard someone come up beside him. Glancing over his shoulder he saw that it was Frigga.
“May I join you?” she asked.
Loki nodded. “Of course,” he replied, and the two continued to stroll through the variety of trees and flowers.
“I am pleased with Thor’s d

The new heart of Europe.
Where business meets future.
'Pfff....' You scoffed at the papers in front of your face about your destination to gain more inside of the area and your mission while the limousine smoothly drives you through the streets of Stuttgart.
"Would have been nice if they gave me a picture of my target or something!" you yelled to yourself as you flip through all the papers before you gave up with a sigh and threw all the papers back inside the folder.
The limo stopped right in front of a massive building with large columns and arches aligning the windows showing off its glorious architecture. Your door was opened by your driver, and you stepped out revealing your long emerald dress with a knee-high slit on the side and v-neck cut slightly revealing your cleavage.
'I'm gonna kill Stark for making me wear this!' you thought angrily remembering when you were back at headquarters looking for something to wear for your mission, and Tony popping o

Thor, if you had heard Fury right, tightened his grip around the hammer, at which Agent Romanoff dropped her hand to her belt and Agent Barton's hand twitched towards his quiver.
"I just want to know where my brother is"
"Well, maybe you shouldn't have lost him" Agent Barton said with a smirk.
Agent Romanoff elbowed him and Fury glared in his direction, his eyes then flickering towards you.
"Miss [l/n] knows where he is"
Your eyes widened in shock at you being dragged into this.
"I... uh..." you stuttered
Thor took a step towards you "You know where my brother is?"
You looked around "Who's your brother?"
"Do not jest with me Fury. This mortal does not know where Loki is" turning his back on you
Right. So Loki was this guys brother. Why did people always insist on leaving vital information like that out?

His hands were shaky.
As if his godly porcelain body was not of his kind, for a moment it felt like he was a timid human boy you had a crush on for so long that you finally managed to open up to each other and this was your first hug. His big yet weak hands were still around you and you could feel the pleasant icy feeling down your spine—how you yearned for his touch was unexplainable; you came back to your senses when his hands brushed and fell from your shoulder. You pulled yourself and looked into his eyes and your heart started to race because it’d been too long since you saw them, “his” emerald eyes. The worry in them was yet another dagger in your heart and it made your eyebrows curl just like his beautifully ordered ones. Loki’s thin lips parted gently and you knew he was going to tell you something but you stopped him with your erratic whisper.
“I will save you, don’t say anything. I will save you…” you squeezed his arms ti

Chapter 1: Drunk
"Hey! It opened!" Your friend, Annabel, said in a slurred voice. She made her way through the now opened doors. You stumbled in after her.
"What's a shild?" You asked between hiccups.
"I think that says SHIELD." Annabel laughed as her head lolled to the side. Your giggles filled the large room the two of you were in.
"Are you sure we're at your house?" You managed to get out between your laughs. Annabel nodded and pointed at what looked like a table.
"That is definitely my couch!" She said as she walked to it. She laid across it and rolled on her side. "You should totally get me another drink _____!"
Your head lolled to the side before you could nod. "*hic* Okay!" You stumbled around in search for Anna's fridge.
The walls didn't look the same as they did when the two of you left for the club. The night had started as a bore, but Anna wanted to celebrate. Celebrate what? Well Anna said life was a celebration so you two ended up at a club and got drunk as

Tony's house was slick and modern. His bar was even more impressive. He sat you on a very comfy bar stool, and asked what you wanted to drink. You politely turned him down, saying you had enough drinks for the night. He nodded, either agreeing that you had enough, or confirming the fact that you were a lightweight. It was hard to tell which was which, but it didn't matter, at least he offered you a place to stay for the night. When he sat you on the bar stool you instantly took off your heels and began massaging your sore feet, hoping beyond hope that you wouldn't be forced to wear another pair of heels for at least two weeks. Tony sat beside you, sipping on a martini and staring at you intently. "Tell me a little about you," he said between sips.
"U-uh, um, well," you didn't know what to tell him. You could tell him straight off that you were some freak experiment and didn't know what abilities you had, or you could tell him that you were a girl you work at a college coffee house and

Tears threatened to plummet from the corners of my eyes, Odin’s words piercing my sanity and heart to where it felt as though I’d collapse from lack of oxygen with every ragged breath I struggled to intake.
“And by all means necessary ,you, out of pure hate, and disrespect; departed from your chambers, and the safety that Asgard’s boundaries provided!”
His booming voice rattled every inch of posture I was still able to hold in this horrid situation, though the fact that my two older brothers eyes were observing from the sidelines; as they watched my dignity slowly deteriorate without the slightest bit of concern forming their godly features drove me more of the bridge that was already falling beneath my feet.
The only act I could perform was too gaze down at the marble floors, and just anticipate my consequence to be presented, and hope it not be to bleak.
“I have no other choice but to band you from Asgard, and any other of its partnering realms!
The Reveal - Loki x Reader (Chap6)You waited impatiently for Loki to return, wondering what would happen. Was that the man who stole the book before? If it was, would he get it back? You played around with your fingers, something you did when you got nervous. You lifted up your head from looking at your fingers to see Loki heading your way. Was this where it would end? Would you never see Loki again? Could this possibly be a good thing though? Maybe he was evil and didn’t have feelings. Your brain and heart couldn’t agree. You felt like you were about to explode, unable to decide what to feel. Tony was sitting on the floor in a pile of wooden planks and screws with his nose buried in an instruction leaflet. You placed a hand on your heart as you realised he was perfectly safe. You pursed your lips in thought, why would the great Tony Stark need instruction for what looked like a table. Your mouth drops open. "What do you mean, you did? Do you mean you actually took over the city, or what?"
He laughs harder. "I mean that I did try to take over the city of New York. It's just that no one is really supposed to remember that little incident. After the whole fiasco, S.H.I.E.L.D. didn't want the mortals to live in fear of aliens and other realms and Gods, and therefore forced me to wipe everyone's minds as best I could. My magic is strong, but not all-powerful, and to hide it in plain sight, they turned it into a film. Everyone already knew about my idiot brother because of what he did here a few years back, but I was turned back into fantasy."
"Oh," you mumble, trying to make sense of all this.
"You're now wondering what's real and what isn't, then, are you not?" He guesses.
"Well, yes. I mean… where did Thor's second movie even come from? Was that all just make believe?"
"No, that was real as well

DepressionBeing sad is normal.Depression8 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Depression is not.
Depression is more common than people think.
Others do not understand what it feels like for the blade to be across your skin.
They do not know that black hole in your soul that eats at you.
The only way out of the black hole you see is red.
When people say "I know how you feel" you sink deeper.
Trying to bring you out only makes you dig deeper sometimes.
You feel worthless and a burden.
Depression eats at your soul until you give in.
You never know when depression will hit or what will trigger it.
Even though you can't see it the only way out is not red color but flesh color.
Color of the people who truely love you and hope to reach you in time.
No one can be forced out of depression.
No one will survive depression if left on their own.
Do not let anyone who suffers from depression suffer alone.
No matter what the person tells you.
Depression ends in red if no one cares.
Let depression end not in red but in life.

Is this what pain as a mortal felt like? No wonder they were such feeble creatures. My right hip throbbed and I let out a slight gasp as the pain escalated. For a moment I felt pity for anyone that had to endure such pain, but then I casted the thought aside. That’s not like me.
I opened my eyes as I lay on the ground, dazed. Where am I? Niflheim? It was black as night here, and the sky was adorned with stars. No, it cannot be. Niflheim is encased in darkness. There is light here. Upon realizing where I was, I groan.
I stagger as I attempt to stand. My magic is useless, for it has been taken from

I wonder if those people ever tried working their way through the system. Being passed from person to person like a mess nobody wants to deal with. That's how I feel. I 've seen 6 people, so far who claim that they can help me, and the people increase every week.
They claim that the medication will work, that I should have counseling, that I should try to "See the light at the end of the tunnel". If you've ever been down, it's the last thing you want to hear. Did anyone ever tell a moth
