ALL HAIL DOOM! Whether it's a death ray, army of giant robots, or just a good old fashioned invasion, the Fantastic Four's signature villain Doctor Doom is probably behind it. Here I've created a custom Marvel Legends Doctor Doom using the DC Universe Doctor Mid-Nite base body, LCBH Wraarrl feet, Wringwraith hands, and lower arms/legs from a DCU Iron. Doom's head is a CamcoKid specialty headcast and a tailored Marvel Select Doom cape. Apoxie sculpt was used to create the armor circles for his joints and lower leg flanges. This time Doom will not fail!
Hey All! Super Extra Special thanks to Adrian Nation for the Nose, most of the Mouth and Ears, the basics on the costume, this is pretty much a Mod of his Super Stellar and Awesome Robin III (3) Tim Drake to look like Damian Wayne (Bruce Wayne's Son) and the current Robin, Robin V (5). (Dick Grayson -1 Jason Todd -2 Tim Drake -3 Stephanie Brown -4). The Little Red Strip at the bottom attaches just under the belt, although their are no slit marks. Enjoy everyone, more to come! ***I just updated him to a Yellow Belt Buckle like in the comics ***
Made for a friend for his birthday. Teddy happens to be his favorite character from the Young Adventures so this happened (conveniently enough, same week Joann's had a bear pattern on sale for 2 bucks).
Basically sewn like anything else, though not the best sew job I've done, first time I'd made a teddy bear and everything so going to say did a pretty good job (the fabric was funny, you couldn't touch that stuff without green fluffs attacking you).
A 'Property of Wiccan' patch was thrown on his butt for the fun of it~
I created a custom octo-plushie for an Etsy customer based off of her design. She wanted it to resemble both Tony Stark/Iron Man AND Captain America. She also requested that the mustache, cape, and mask were all removable. This is what I came up with!
The mustache is attached with small snaps that are hidden behind the large button eyes. I was able to shape the mask and make it stiff by gluing a piece of felt to the back of a piece of fleece. I then hand stitched around the edges and carefully pulled the thread tight, in order to create a rounded mask shape.
The plushie itself is made of fleece. The back of the mask and the Captain America emblem on the cape are both made of felt. He's stuffed with fiberfill stuffing.
If you are interested in creating your own custom octo-plushie, please send me a message on Etsy. I'm terrible at remembering to check my DA account! Here's the link: [link]
