Commissioned art doesn't always inspire you. how many Wonder Woman paintings can you do before you start to lose interest? (A lot, actually, but you get what I'm saying.)

As a devoted fan of this graphic novel, Id been waiting for the chance to illustrate these characters for years. I have Ray Cuthbert to thank for it. Since then I have received more Watchmen commissions and I'm just as jazzed about them.

A commissioned piece. The client wanted a Batman that resembled David Finch's work. I adore Finch's work. I hope I gave him and Batman a bit of justice. :D Nothing compares to the original.
