Similar Deviations

To anyone who wants to post screenshots, etc... Just send me a note first. That's all I ask. And I'm not going to say no to /anybody/, it's because I want to see what you have created~!

First off, I love love LOVE Super ScribbleNauts. It is one of the best DS games ever.

And when I found out there doesn't exist a mix-and-match/dressup/Create-A-Character for this epic series, I had to make one. This is a holiday gift to every single person who has supported me and my dressups. Everyone who has favorited and commented. Indeed, for everyone who has even viewed my work. You guys make the magic happen.

I also realized (very quickly) that I really wanted to add a lot of content to this one. Final counts include: 46 individual shirts, 46 individual bottoms, 23 hats, 15 masks, five sets of wings, 12 unique items, 46 left socks. I also chose to make it in Scribblenautic style, rather than my own. It just felt more authentic.

This happens to be the largest-scale dressup yet, in terms of individual items. I lost track past 1,500. In light of this, I decided to go with a different, cleaner layout. Please, tell me what you think of it!

Two important notes: One, I am in no way affiliated with WB Games or 5th Cell. This flash should be viewed as an homage and a show of my deep affection towards Maxwell and Scribblenauts.

Secondly (and this is important), remember:

Wow, so this has pretty much had it's run already on Youtube and Newgrounds, getting well over 2 million views across both sites...figured I should throw it up here anyway.

This was a lot of fun to make, combining my love of Watchmen with my love of saturday morning animation and synthpop.

Yes, the music is written and sang by me too...you can probably tell.

If you haven't already seen this - please enjoy.

I did this cartoon for live105.com for their morning show "The Woody Show".

It took me 3 months and I'm still not too happy with it the lip sync ended up being off.

The audio is a rant about cast member Greg's trip to a local Office Max and their inability to price things correctly.

(WARNING: Contains sound that'll automatically play!)

June 2, 2014 Edit:
I can't believe I actually figured out how to get the music to behave the way I always wanted it to ever since I first made it, holy crap, this is freaking amazing!! All of the tracks come from the Game Boy Advance game Sigma Star Saga, which was one of my favorites~.

But wait...there's MORE! >>>

:star: TABLE OF CONTENTS :star:

Phew! Finally finished. I had this idea since last summer, but have never been able to finish it (or even make much progress on it, for that matter) until now. This was originally going to be the second book that Amy and Chikorita wrote, but since I had no interest in illustrating a fake backstory that no one would ever believe anyway, their second book ended up becoming their first. Yaaay!

(Yes, I know Chikorita's not back yet, so let's pretend they finished this during Event 6.)

And the reason I have this in my Sixfold-League folder? This is, believe it or not, the prologue to the series I'm going to create for the group. A PMD-E/SXL crossover of sorts! Dealing with sound in flash the way I want it for this storybook is really hard, so I'm just going to keep things simple and have this without sound until I either figure out how to do it or someone helps me out with it.

The only thing I'll say for now is: Pay attention to the character of Evil Empress Paion. She'll become rather important for said series, despite the fact that she lived 1,000 years ago from events in the present day.

And bonus trivia: Those of you who know Ashley's Theme from Warioware might recognize a certain few song lyrics on a certain page.

Characters in this story:

:bulletgreen: Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and Arceus
:bulletgreen: Random Elgyems and Beheeyems
:bulletgreen: Random Psychic-types (represented by Lipless the Gothita)
:bulletgreen: Evil Empress Paion the Beheeyem
:bulletgreen: "Legendary Hero" Gallade
:bulletgreen: High Commander Tierney the Beheeyem
:bulletgreen: O-Bem the Beheeyem
:bulletgreen: O-Beema the Beheeyem
:bulletgreen: Rigley the Elgyem and Psyme the shiny Beheeyem of Team Paion
:bulletgreen: Ligray the Elgyem
:bulletgreen: Blune the Beheeyem
:bulletgreen: Amy the Jigglypuff and Chikorita of Team Pecha
:bulletgreen: Jody the Bisharp
:bulletgreen: Rallen the Beheeyem

ah yes.. someone has to fucking do it

It was clogged up in my files somewhere, it was half finish, maybe an old episode of Fridays With Pewdiepie made me piss my pants so hard, I started making some stupid flash about it, eventually a few days later I got bored and lazy, I stopped making it. Then a few weeks I started to get bored and looked through my files and found this thing, and then you know... I finished this. But I had trouble uploading this shit, it was suppose to be uploaded last week, but then Deviantart says there is an error, I was very confuse, I tried to fix it, but as always, I'm busy. Then today I eventually fix the problem, which is as always the fucking music BUT WHO THE HELL CARES, WHO READS THE DESCRIPTION ANYWAY

it was "inspired" by this episode of Fridays With Pewdiepie www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHsS-L…

beautiful music --> www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste…

It make take a little while to load depending on how shitty your internet connection is.

If there are some bugs, please tell me :3

I'm not even sure if the music match the thing (me and my stupid music choices)

PROFESSOR LAYTON PART 2: [link]

So after sitting on my copy of Professor Layton and the Curious Village for nearly 3 months, I finally managed the brain power to finish the game.

(Damn you red ball stuck in a box filled with blocks! Damn you to hell.)

I liked the fact that I had to obliterate the mindset that I was playing an adventure-puzzle game--and instead a collection of puzzles with an optional narrative behind it. At first I was actually trying to avoid the puzzle triggering sequences, thinking that they were just distractions. About a quarter of a ways through though, I finally understood that the puzzles ARE the game and everything else is just charming fluff.

Anyway, like most things that move me for the time, I decided to make an animation about Prof. Layton and Co. (i wanted to make one off of a DS game for a while...). The entire process from idea, recording, and animating took about 12 hours.

Let me know what you think!
