Autumn Blues by juliart5

Fall Landscapes

There’s something about the brilliant colors of the dying leaves of autumn that reflects the wonders and the sorrows of life. It’s as if by waking up each morning into this beautiful world of natural colors, we are being given our bittersweet reward for surviving another year on the planet. We are regaled with a brief seasonal ceremony of the turning of the leaves, nature’s gift for our eyes as a promise she will soon return after her yearly rest. And then it’s time to let winter’s grey pallor unfold over us in blankets of dark cold rain and bright brisk snows; we sleep, the autumn’s leaves having promised… the warming light will soon return.

So this is one of my ways of coloring scanned lines that I feel work pretty well. I'm new at narrating through meh vids but I'll better I swear. lol!

... have fun watching, comment and of course....subscribe> www.youtube.com/subscription_c…

Drew a ton of faces of random deviants from a couple journals back. Unfortunately video issues ensued and I was unable to record it. That made me think "I'll have color it on vid". ;) So that shall happen.

Busted! by MarcoRibbe-de

Thank you, Paul Feig and the entire Ghostbusters production team, for paying attention to the dreams and fantasies of a quite sizable demographic usually ignored by movie greenlighters.

TThank you for producing an all-female “Ghostbusters” as that classic’s sequel, rather than doing the usual “getting all the guys back together again” for a tired reunion no-brainer. The impetus for a “female team” comedy is reputedly the success of mega hits with female leads, both ensemble and as buddy team ups.

We here at deviantART want to reassure any less-than-fully-committed producers, studio execs and distributors that the idea of “female Ghostbusters” is not just a clever twist produced in pitch sessions seeking a comedy “like ‘The Heat.’” The concept has a far deeper resonance than that, having been a long-standing desire in the hearts of women moviegoers for many years now, as evidenced by DeviantArt’s massive gallery of female Ghostbuster fan art.  So stay the course on this project; it’s guaranteed to be extremely bountiful!

Our editorial team will be following closely and rooting for you every step of the way.

Your Thoughts

  1. Is this just the beginning of Hollywood finally letting females star in the hero parts at long last? Who’s next?

  2. Which macho actor would you like to see having to be rescued by a female ghostbuster love interest because he’s terrified of ghosts?

  3. The female ghostbusters will no doubt have very form-fitting “uniforms” (i.e., nothing like the guys’ shapeless maintenance coveralls). It may be a small price to pay to finally get lady busters, but do you still find it kinda annoying?

  4. Instead of the Marshmallow Man, which little girl’s comforting friend will turn into a rampaging Godzilla-sized monster?  Mega-Barbie? Her Giant Little Pony?  Dora the Terminator?

  5. Which four ladies would you call to save your city?

Thank you, paul feig and the entire ghostbusters production team, for paying attention to the dreams and fantasies of a quite sizable demographic usually ignored by movie greenlighters.

A Titan A Day...

Wed May 15, 2013, 2:02 PM

....Keeps Deathstroke Away.

**UPDATED**

Hey everyone!

I did one Titan character each day from May 16th - June 3rd, in Glen Murakami's animated style.  To make it more fun for me I tweaked the models, or made their costumes closer to the comic outfits.  As I finished them, I would place a thumbnail in this journal to sort of document the progress.  Well it's finished.  I did every side-hero character in the Teen Titans animated show, and just the keep track of them all I placed them all in alphabetical order.

Anyway, here are the characters I finished:
Aqualad/Tempest, Arella, Argent, Bumblebee, Bushido, Gnarrk, Herald, Hot Spot, Jericho, Jesse Quick, Jinx, Kole, Más y Menos, Omen, Pantha, Red Star, Speedy/Red Arrow, Terra, and Wildebeest.

TT - Aqualad / Tempest by Glee-chan TT - Arella by Glee-chan TT - Argent by Glee-chan TT - Bumblebee by Glee-chan TT - Bushido by Glee-chan  TT - Gnarrk by Glee-chan TT - Herald by Glee-chan TT - Hot Spot by Glee-chan TT - Jericho by Glee-chan TT - Jesse Quick by Glee-chan TT - Jinx by Glee-chan TT - Kole by Glee-chan TT- Mas y Menos by Glee-chan TT - Omen by Glee-chan TT - Pantha by Glee-chan TT - Red Star by Glee-chan TT - Red Arrow by Glee-chan TT - Apprentice Terra by Glee-chan TT - Wildebeest by Glee-chan

Below are the main seven, just so everyone doesn't feel gypped:

TT: Nightwing by Glee-chan TT - Cyborg- Redesign by Glee-chan TT - Raven 8 by Glee-chan TT- Changeling by Glee-chan TT - Starfire Resign 2 by Glee-chan TT- Kid Flash 2 by Glee-chan TT - Wonder Girl by Glee-chan

For the record, all Titan characters are owned by DC Comics and by their individual creators.  It should go without saying that they are done in the Teen Titan animated style created by Glen Murakami.  Also... I do not own any of these characters.

Catwoman Leaks Justice League Contract Details to deviantART

Outrage:

Robin Tops Wonder Woman

This morning the Today Page Editorial Team was reading through Mike Fleeman’s coverage on The Wrap discussing Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsugihara’s press conference this week where he revealed the DC Comics movie schedule. As we were sharing our thoughts (placing our bets) we received our first major exclusive from our share@deviantART.com tip email address. It turns out it was from Catwoman.

The Miss–Chief maker, Catwoman, leaked all of the Justice League movie contracts for the new Warner Brothers slate. While we were reviewing the contracts we quickly understood why she decided to leak them to the press.

WONDER WOMAN is being paid less per film than ROBIN, THE BOY WONDER!

Warner Bros. and the Justice League have thus far refused to comment on this article.

Questions for the Reader

  1. Are you fed up with the gender pay gap?
