He had to know why.
The fact that he even saw her was utter coincidence, true he was -is- the fastest man alive, but that by no means equals having any of sense of direction. In his defense he wasn't quite used to heading to the Batcave from Hong Kong, it threw his bearings off completely.
Wally found himself wandering Gotham city, sticking to rooftops to avoid the post twilight hustle and bustle on the streets. The impending darkness wasn't helping at all, and he was just about to give up on trying to be independent and call Bruce on his comm link for directions when he spotted her.
It was almost as if she could fly.
Any given person on the street wouldn't have noticed her, no, she moved too fast for that. But Wally, being -the- fastest man alive could see her clearly. She flashed across rooftops, movements all precision and grace as she jumped from ledge to ledge,

Everyone said their goodbyes in private and Bruce was last. Clark laid a hand on his shoulder as he left, face betraying his own grief but he didn't say anything, for which Bruce was grateful. He stepped inside the Med Bay, closing the door behind him, and forced himself to walk over to the lone occupant on one of the beds. As he moved closer his mind played over the events which had led them to this place.
It had started with an explosion at a military science testing facility but the government had refused the Justice League's help to start with, until they realised they couldn't control it and there was going to be a catastrophic loss

He knows that Thanagarians act like humans at times, but they also act like cats and wolves and birds.
They pluck their feathers when depressed, they bare their teeth when angry, and they do this.
Bruce isn't sure if he should be amused or not.

The Legion of Doom. The anti-Justice League. If you're satisfied with the classic 13 members, (Luthor, Grodd, Brainiac, Cheetah, Capt. Cold, Sinestro, Bizzaro, Giganta, Black Manta, Riddler, Scarecrow, Solomon Grundy, & Toyman), that's fine. But, I decided to revamp the membership a little:
1. I started by deciding how many members there'd be. I went with thirteen, as a nod to the classic Legion.
2. I knew Lex Luthor would be the leader, of coarse. Not only that, but like the Injustice League Unlimited, I also added Joker and Cheetah. Lex, Joker, & Cheetah. The "anti-three", if you will. The opposing forces to Superman, Batman, & Wonder Woman. That left me with 10 open spaces.
3. Taking a hint from the first 3, I also added each respective nemesis of the other 4 iconic JLA members:
Aquaman - Black Manta
Green Lantern - Sinestro
Flash - Captain Cold
Martian Manhunter - Ma'a

You sighed. You had been in Twilight Town for some time, now. Your home had been destroyed ... and you landed here, which was a little daunting. But all of that had happened when you were very young. You missed Lea, your lively, wise-cracking friend. You hadn't seen him since your World collapsed and fell to darkness ... You were sitting on a hill, watching the sunset which never left. That was the only problem with Twilight Town ... 24/7, no matter how late it was, it was always sunset ... which was probably why it was so warm a lot of the time. You began to wonder ... how old Lea was now ... and where he was now ... had he fallen to darkness just like your world did? ... You shut your eyes as you recalled that horrible day
"Quickly, the town is falling apart! Take my hand!" Lea cried
You obeyed and you hung on for dear life
"Don't let go, (Name)!" He cried
But your grip was slipping

You had saved a Death Eater from getting the Dementor's Kiss.
Yes, he'd done bad things while working under the Dark Lord, and you knew it. In an instant, your thoughts turned to the Longbottoms.
You knew this, but you also knew that he was mad. You knew that that couldn't excuse everything; couldn't erase all those things that he did, but you thought it was worth something. And apparently, through a weird twist of fate (or perhaps, dumb luck), it was enough to convince Fudge.
You looked at him, Bartemius Crouch Jr., now sitting across the table from you, furtively glancing at his surroundings. This was your house; your semi-dimly lit living room. Did he know this?
Suddenly, his rough voice spoke up.

They brought you downtown to a medium sized Italian restaurant that you had seen many times before and had heard good reviews about, but had never actually gotten around to trying out for yourself. They brought you in through the backdoor and led you through the kitchen and to a small hall that had two doors on either of the walls. Lovino pulled the door down and helped the ladder come down slowly, and then all three of you climbed up.
When you got up into the room, you looked around. There were old curtains hanging on the windows and the lights were out, so it was kind of dark. It was a bit dusty and dirty in some places, but for the most part it looked pretty clean. The kitchen and living room were empty except for the kitchen appliances, sink and counter, and through an open door in a sma

It always managed to cheer you up if you were ever down. You sighed, your own smile forming on your lips.

Why do I just want people to shut up about this book? Well lets see why I hate the fans:
There are documented cases of people being harassed and actually physically attacked, I dont know how many of these are real but I wouldnt put it past the Twi-tards to actually do this. Im not going to even get into some of these cases; there should be a link at the bottom to this site that has documented these cases into a dictionary form. It explains itself.
The other reason I hate Twi-tards is that they think that Twilight is the greatest thing in the world, given to them by the gods as their holy book and that all opposition to it must be meant with hostility. I sh*t you not. Theres even a f*cking rel

Your adventures this time had brought you to a town in the middle of essentially nowhere. It was dark; the only light was coming from a scarce few streetlamps dotted around the town, casting a gentle, faded but somewhat eerie glow about the place.
The Doctor and yourself thought you'd seen something off in the distance–in the dense forest that surrounded the outskirts of town–so the two of you headed off toward it.
As you walked onward, the light got farther and farther away, growing dimmer with each step. A thick fog seemed to come out of nowhere and cast itself overhead as you approached the edge of the forest.
In the midst of the forest, what sounded like a low rumbling, almost growling, made its

I woke up with my muzzle pressed tight against the rough cast of a blue plastered wall, and for a moment, I was sure I was still dreaming.
Nopony. Just the blue wall and me.
Yes, I remembered, that's right, I'm not dreaming, as my eyes adjusted and the features of my old dorm room at Canterlot U slowly slid back into place. I'm not dreaming, I'm back here again. I shuffled around in the bed. I'd kicked the sheets off in the night and they lay in a heap on the floor right where Spike's little basket used to sit. He used to hate when I'd do that! Hehe.
My attention shifted to the very foot of the bed, where I contemplated the unfamiliar sight of my old window. I gently moved some books off the sill and unlatched the window with my mouth.
