The Last of Us Parody. Story. The light was shining through the roof; dust could be seen in the air. The boards above could be heard creaking, as the entities upstairs walked over, dust fell into the room with two people, a man and a woman. The Last of Us Parody. "Do you think we should be all the way out here? This is Firefly territory." said the woman, her hair now dirty blonde but brighter blonde fragments could still be seen in her hair from when she used to have it dyed. "This isn't exactly a good place to be searching for supplies."
"Does it fucking matter? We need to survive, then we need to survive." Said a man with blonde hair as well, only his was a more natural blonde. He grunted and looked up as more dust fell from the roof. "What the fuck are they doing up there?" He said. The difference in their heights was obvious the man was a fair few inches taller. But they both wore long, torn blue shirts that came with a backpack companion. Their shorts were long but also tattered and worn out, the mans were actually burnt a lit
The Problem With Character SheetsAlright, there are some pretty awesome character sheets out there. I don't personally use them, but I've seen others make them work. I'm not here to dispute the fact that they've got some utility, but I am here to point out one big problem with relying on a list of traits—which is generally how character sheets present these things—to define your character. The Problem With Character Sheets2 years ago in Literature Features More Like This
(Note: This also applies to Mary Sue tests. 'Not a Mary Sue' just means your character isn't a perfect storm of coincidence. It has nothing to do with likeability or even believability. <insert dictator here> isn't a Mary Sue, either.)
I think this approach is, if it's the only approach you take to figuring out a character, a really bad idea.
Take a moment to think about your best friend. What's their favorite food? What are they good at, and what are things they do that make you Google good places to dump a body?
Rude Much ~Lana Walker One-Shot~ Gotham was mucky as I walked down the street. a drunk woman laughed on the arm of a Suit, He smirked at me as I passed. I felt my hand squeeze on the gun in my sweatshirt. I passed them and I felt his eyes on me as I walked away. The cold rain started to fall on the polluted streets as I headed for my apartment. Winston sat on the steps his leg twitching as he looked across the street with his eyes, searching for his dealer. I rubbed my thumb over the trigger of the gun and smiled as I walked past him and into the building. The building was falling apart, but the rent was only 250 a month for the tenants, but the landlord was terrified of Oak so he lowered ours to 100 a month. I still wonder what she did to scare him so badly.Rude Much ~Lana Walker One-Shot~2 months ago in Literature Features More Like This
I took the stairs two at a time, my eyes focusing on the steps. As I reached the fourth flight of stairs, I ran straight into a 'wall'. Falling backwards onto the hallway below. I grabbed the gun out from my sweatshirt
YJ: FF: Danger of LightThe first memory i could always recall before all the others was of her face. The sadness and rage in it, then there was the fire. Her glowing green eyes burned for something, that I did not know of. At least not at that time. She was beautiful, even with the blood on her face. I don't know why, but I trusted her, I never trusted anyone like I trusted her.YJ: FF: Danger of Light3 months ago in Literature Features More Like This
She was a storm, bring disaster, rage, and death. I was the calm before her storm, and the rainbow after. We were perfect together, the perfect team.
We had complete balance, and were completely in sync.
She was the first person who I truly cared about that left me, and it was all my fault.
I do remember things before her though. I remember him.
He was different from her. He was different from the people in white as well. The fire in his eyes had been ripped from him. I wish I could of figured out why.
He always smiled at me, the fire slightly sparking, but never staying. He always was calming, he talked to me about the world as he a

"Ne, K-Kazuya I think that this is enough practice for to-DAY!" You squealed jumping out of the catcher's way as he attempted to silence you.
"No, no, no," your boyfriend's eyes gleamed lips upturning, "you need a lot more practice." Attempting to capture you again, you giggled barely managing to dodge the boy.
