While on my Holiday vacation in Grants Pass Oregon to visit my parents and grandmother I ventured into a local comic shop. It was a really nice comic shop and had quiet a selection. I was browsing one of the isles when I came across not one but two comics side by side from Anthro artists here on DA! It's pretty amazing and a humbling experience when you stumble across artists work from DeviantART out in the real world! Especially artists you've been following for years! Congrats you two on your accomplishments and sharing your talent and imagination with the rest of us!
The comics I came across are "Lackadaisy" by tracyjb and "Nordguard - Book One - Across Thin Ice" by screwbald and Tess Garman !

Hell’s Kitchen in New York City was a pretty rough place
Like many areas of the city in the 1950s and 1960s, poverty gave way to hardship which in turn created crime. The New York of that time period would be unimaginable to people only familiar with today’s Disneyland–inspired Times Square. But back then things were tough.

Many deviants offer commissions, but how do you effectively advertise them? This article will go over some methods for maximizing the exposure on your commissions so that they can be as successful as possible.
This is the one method I cannot stress enough. Commission Widgets are one of the most effective ways to advertise your commissions because they not only feature your commissions on your profile page, but also add them to the searchable database of dA's Commission Page. Numerous deviants use the Commission Page to find artists to hire, so it is a smart idea to add yourself to the database.
However, simply slapping a commission widget onto your page is not enough. You need to make your commissions as appealing as possible through the following steps:
Commission Examples: The Commission Widget allows you to display several examples of your artwork,

Marketing Materials For ArtistsEDIT: Well butter my biscuits, some of my gifs disappeared into the interwebs. I'll remedy this soon!Marketing Materials For Artists1 year ago in Art Features More Like This
It’s no secret that us artists aren’t great at selling ourselves. The creative process is so much work it’s easy to assume that your work will be able to sell itself. Sometimes it can, but that’s not usually the case. Even if you aren’t interested in going commercial with your career (and there is absolutely nothing wrong with going that route), it is important have professional materials to present to clients, employers and galleries. If you aren’t interested in being “full time” with selling your artwork, I think it would still be good to consider putting together marketing materials as a means of creating good client relations.
This journal will include a number of things you may need in marketing yourself, but also if you are applying to art schools or for various jobs in art. I would also like to note that you d

He was an artist you might not know.
But you’ve met his children…
It’s rare that a “new” iconic monster is born and becomes forever identifiable,—— no matter the variations, by generation after generation. So it was when George Romero created the ultimate “zombie” in his Night of the Living Dead in 1968. Zombie Apocalypse fans today may have never heard of George or seen the original “Night,” but the zombies they so love in fare like The Walking Dead owe their existence to Romero’s original vision.
In 1979, screenwriter Dan O’Bannon craft
