You heard pants and wheezes that screamed desperately for air.
The dark haired student in front of you, coughing while setting his red framed glasses on his rather beautiful eyes that deepen into an ivy-like colour, started to calm his breaths.
After looking at him carefully since you couldn't during class, you noticed that he had long legs, an attractive face that showed intelligence and theoretical thinking, overall a figure and character of a person that would definitely be popular, or be a main character in a story to make an example.
How desperately did he run?
Did you do something to him?
Ryuugazaki Rei was now directly in front of you, slightly resting his hands on his well built thighs, trying to catch breath.
"Y-You.." he barely choked out of his exhausted throat.
"Y-Yes?! I'm sorr-" before you could finish apologizing for whatever rude thing you must'

The sixteen year old brunette sighed as he forced himself to tune into what the teacher was blabbering on about at the front of the classroom. His brown and somewhat orange coloured eyes took in the almost illegable scribbles that covered the white boards surface, and he began to copy them down into his school book in his own understandable font. Ancient History was not exactly the brunette's favourite subject, but his grades seemed to show that he was rather good at every class he took, nevertheless. No matter his interest, his grades were always average, or just above. To be honest, he realised that this was because his social life had never really.. kicked off. No matter how many times he'd stammered out an introduction, he'd never really become close with anyone at the many schools he'd been to. In fact, he'd seemed to have attracted the exact opposite. Especially at this school. Alternia State High School was - without a doubt - the dirtiest, unkept and roughest school he'd ever t

Rex stared at the wall. Cody had gone drinking with the others, leaving Rex alone with Denal. Rolling over, Rex watched his most trusted trooper stretch and take off his armored boots.
Going to bed already Denal? Rex chuckled.
Denal turned and grinned at his captain, Well sir, we got training tomorrow dont we? With your drills, Ill need my rest. he snorted.
What? Rex grinned.
Oh its just the rest going off like that. Boy, their gonna have a hangover and go through drills. Sucks for them. Denal smirked.
Rex put his arms behind his head. He hadnt bothered to remove his armor yet. He wasnt even tired. After counting all of the scratches on his helmet, Rex glanced over to Denal who dozed with his arms crossed over his chest.
Loud barks of laughter and a hard thud directed Rexs attention to the door. Denal had awaken, annoyed at the interruption.
Sir are ok? someones slurred speech asked.
TMTY Chapter 11The many charts and displays on the bridge of DeJosa's cruiser glowed and beeped, with the occasional clone to check their readings. Skywalker and the 501st had already left for Teth in a smaller transport, leaving DeJosa to head towards her objective with her new company.TMTY Chapter 115 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Although the ship had to make a jump into hyperspace, no one in the command crew knew where the ship was supposed to go. DeJosa had never informed anyone of the location of the cruiser they were going to board, and on the command deck, she was nowhere to be seen.
Clone Commander Avon, the commander under DeJosa, waited impatiently for the general to arrive.
Avon was a very serious commander, and this was necessary to counterbalance DeJosa's aloofness. He was a babysitter; and without him, nothing on the ship would be done until DeJosa needed things done for her own benefit. This stress had turned his hair grey, and left him looking more aged than he was.
He had gotten to the bridge early, 4:00 a.m., on her orders. Th

The bell FINALY rang for school to end. Soul had told you to wait outside the school for him, so you made your way through the crowded hallways towards the entrance. You stopped outside the door. The mob of students slowly began to thin out, and after the hallways were empty, Soul and a group of other kids emerged from the building. "Hey, _____!" Soul said as he walked over to you. "Guys, this is ____. She's kinda new here.". The kids all smiled at you. "Hi! I'm Maka, Soul's meister." A girl with sandy-brown hair said to you. A boy with three stripes in his hair turned to you. "And I'm Death The Kid, but you can just call me Kid. These are my weapons, Liz and Patty." He pointed to two girls; one with short blond hair and one with long brunette hair. Suddenly, boy with pink hair peeked over from behind Maka. "Hey, Maka, who's that behind you?" You asked curiously. "Oh, this is Chrona! Come out and say Hi!" Maka gently pushed the boy out from behind her. "Um.. Hi..." You could tell he wa
Break the Ice (Contest Entry)This was not how Raven had planned spending her summer. Summer was many things, but freezing was not one of them. She shivered and pulled her cloak tighter around her, wishing now more than ever for a fur lining to keep the cold out. Next to her, Robin seemed to be fairing no better than she was. Raven looked around at her surroundings, longing for the beautiful visage that the Titans' Tower had to offer. If she closed her eyes, she could imagine the softness of the grass; the brightness of the sun warming her body; the crystal clear ocean that crashed lightly against her feet as she stepped on the edge of it. She could even imagine the thrill that she got whenever the alarm sounded, signifying trouble.Break the Ice (Contest Entry)3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
But there was no alarm here. There was no sun to keep her warm or ocean to dip her feet in. The Titans' Tower was her new utopia; something that she was unsure she would see again. Maybe the heat of flames would be better than the freezing icicles that surrounded them, but somewhere dee

Several hours later, I still contemplated these words on the bridge, watching from afar as Khan, Jaken, Blondie and a few other officers scrutinized a glowing blue holographic map. I wasn't really paying attention though, the wild pulsing of my heart drowning out even Khan's deep, velvety voice. I now knew why I had been blindfolded when first marched aboard the Vengeance.
I had only seen a glimpse of it, as Khan was careful to sling a muscular arm around my shoulders and whirl me back around to continue our walk the other way we'd came, back down the hangar and to the staircase. Yet I had seen it all the same, and clung to that fleeting image like a life preserver of old, the only physical hope I had of now, my only tangible plan of escape.
At the end of the impossibly long hangar, there had been a doorless room, a tiny communication base of sorts, and I had felt a rush of overwhelming joy when I caught a glimpse of what was in there. It was just a glimpse, impossibly fast, but I had

Taking over the bridge of the Enterprise, Spock commanded for communications with New Vulcan. On screen, his elder and alternate counterpart Ambassador Spock was shown. It has been a while since anyone on board, including yourself, had last seen him during the incident with the Romulan, Nero.
They exchanged their greetings before continuing on.
“In your travels, did you ever encountered a man named ‘Kahn’?” the temporary Captain Spock asked bluntly.
The Ambassador took a deep silent sigh before speaking, “As you know, I have made a vow never to give you information that could potentially alter your destiny. Your path is yours to walk, and yours alone.” You cou

"Oh ok, smart ass, you land a escape pod while we fly into a atmosphere, I mean, you can't even DRIVE escape pods!" Boil retorted appearing from the dented pod, two blasters in hand.
Waxer grinned as he replaced his helmet," I bet I could do better buddy, but at the moment, we need to figure out where General Kenobi is."
Boil threw Waxer his blaster and went back into the pod. He reappeared, his helmet underarm.
"No, first we need to find where in the hell we are." he griped, rubbing his nose before putting on his helmet.
Waxer warily looked around at his surroundings. Steep rock walls surrounded them, the sky a open blue above. Waxer kicked the dusty earth.

The vampire and the adventurers arrived at the doors of the candy castle. Marshall Lee's face was twisted in a scowl. Fionna, on the other hand, was excited. She knocked on the big doors and stood back. They opened to reveal the Gumball Prince already waiting.
"Welcome Fionna and Cake! So nice to see you! I've been waiting and-- oh. You brought him?" Prince Gumball frowned at the sight of Marshall, who stuck out his tongue.
"Well well, nevermind that, come in!" He lead them to a room where there was a chalkboard and a few desks.
"Now, the other day Fionna you told me you would like to learn the basics of math, so I've prepared some lessons for you." Gumball took some papers out of a drawer and walked over to the chalkboard.
"Today I'll be teaching you the basics of addition, in which you will--"
"BOOOOOOORING!" Marshall yelled out. He snickered and unfolded his umbrella.

Era Longman wiggled her toes over the edge, feeling the expanse below her. Her face was covered in tear streaks, dirt and just a little bit of blood from where her father had hit her. The height began to weigh on her so she backed up a few inches and shivered from a breeze that swept over her skin. Era sniffed and wiped a fresh tear from her eye. She had been out a night and a day without food, water or shelter. She stood at the northern end of the forest, not where the road was, but to the east of that, where she could stand from a cliff and see the lights if the city. There were extra lights on this very night for it was the night of the harvest festival.
“And my birthday,” She said to herself in a parched forlorn voice. She licked her dry lips, going over in her mind what she was about to do. The idea of jumping scared her, but she saw no other option for herself. Era thought of her father and five brothers, and her heart
Shut Up About TwilightIm getting sick of everyone talking about Twilight. I dont care whether you absolutely love it to death or hate it and have burned your own copy. Just stop talking about it. Why do I just want people to shut up about this book? Well lets see why I hate the fans:
There are documented cases of people being harassed and actually physically attacked, I dont know how many of these are real but I wouldnt put it past the Twi-tards to actually do this. Im not going to even get into some of these cases; there should be a link at the bottom to this site that has documented these cases into a dictionary form. It explains itself.
The other reason I hate Twi-tards is that they think that Twilight is the greatest thing in the world, given to them by the gods as their holy book and that all opposition to it must be meant with hostility. I sh*t you not. Theres even a f*cking rel

The fog thickened in the faint light of an all white rising sun, and settled into London's Trafalgar Square, as if the clouds themselves had descended from the glowing grey heavens above, blanketing all in mist and mistique. The normally bustling beloved locale was nearly vacant due to the earliness of the hour, and the strangeness of the weather. There was however, one lovely young woman seated on a bench in the square, not repelled by the fog like so many, but attracted to it like one chasing a dream. This was heaven, her heaven, when modern day London was transformed by all the alluring secrets, and mysterious beauty of the past into the setting of stories she so loved, the very air alive with romance, danger, and intrigue. A feeling that was left in another time, that beckoned to her, reaching for her even now. She smiled softly to herself, breathing it all in, letting it overwhelm her senses. She pulled her posh lavender pea coat a bit tighter, smiling to herself, watching the whi

Edward Elric didn't know whether to laugh or back away slowly.
Roy Mustang was asleep on the couch in his office, an amused looking Maes Hughes prodding him in the shoulder.
Maes turned around and grinned at Ed. "He was stressed, so I told him to just take a drink." He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "Didn't end well."
"He got drunk at work?" Ed asked, completely confused. That was definitely a NOT a Roy Mustang thing to do.
"Technically, he was done with work. He just got to jumpy too drive, and then too drunk " He shrugged, guilty smile still in place.
Ed paused, turning his attention to Roy's open shirt. He smirked as a plan began to form in his mind.
"Hey, Hughes?" Maes looked up at the blonde. "Awkward question but, has Roy ever slept with a guy?"
Maes's eyes widened in shock before answering in a perplexed tone, "A couple times Why?"
"Oh no reason." Ed forced the smirk off his face. "Hey, you should go home. Gracia must be wondering why you aren'
