The Strike of Tigress: Chapter 2 Everyone stared at Wally, who was still standing with his finger pointed up. Kaldur finally stepped up and said, "Wally, I know you're still not over what happened, but revenge won't be the answer." "Kaldur's right, I was a bit shakened myself, but still it isn't right at all," M'gann piped in with an innocent tone. Wally glared and said, "Do you know what it's like, having to run around for 8 years, looking for the man who killed our teammate?" As he walked, he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned and saw that it was Dick. Dick, with a sad look, whispered, "Wally, I know what it's like, wanting revenge for a loved one. So I'm not going to persuade you not to. About this, you help us; I'll personally help you find Sportsmaster. And this will be between us." Wally looked at him in surprise and smiled, "Deal." Many people can't understand how someone can love someone from the same gender.
Many people can't understand how someone can love a person that is twice as old as themselves.
Many people can't understand how someone can be in love with a person that is twice as young as themselves.
But I did.
I loved him; the at least 30 years old man from the house a few blocks away.
No one knew, no one ever would, not even him. That was at least what I had hoped.
It had started out small with an encounter after throwing up my lunch in front of the apartment complex he was living in.
I've tried to hold it down but I was sweating – it was summer – and tired and as I've tried to force it back down my throat and not letting it out of my mouth by pressing my hand firmly on my mouth, it just broke through my lips and fingers and landed right on the ground in front of me, some of the yellowish vomit landed even on my shoes, even my shirt was a mess.
The reason why I had been throwing up?

"Well, yeah "
"Then examine it. This may give us a hint on whom we are facing."
Flash shrugged and examined the bullet. He raised an eyebrow and said, "It's not just a bullet. It's a bullet that a sniper would use or something." Wally faced the others, "Whoever did this has a very sharp aim." Nightwing rubbed his chin, "To be honest, this is the first time the woman has ever used a sniper gun. She would usually jump

The entire Team was sitting on the grass near the back door to the mountain, enjoying relaxation after a mission. M'gann was making goo-goo eyes at Superboy, as usual. And Wally was doing the same to M'gann. Artemis promptly smacked Wally on the back of the head. He sent a glare to Artemis and went back to staring at the Martian.
Artemis rolled her eyes and let her thoughts slip. Damn Wally, making damn lovey-dovey looks at Megan. He hits on any girl, well excluding me for some reason. I'm an okay looking girl, right?
A realization hit Artemis harder than any punch, kick, or weapon that had hit her before. She likes Wally. Oh shit, this could not be happening, Artemis thought to herself. Before she could come up with another thought that should make her be thrown into a padded room she excused herself.
"I'm gonna go inside, have fun guys." Artemis quickly got up. Before she could make her escape Zatanna ruined her departure.
"Why? It's a nice day." Zatanna frowned

I didn't straighten my hair,
And I didn't put on makeup.
I closed my white blinds and let
The light shine through
For a fresh background.
I stole my fathers camera,
Turned on my iPod, and began to dance.
I held it away and smiled,
Letting the -click- of the shutters
Blend with the music, forming its own beat.
I grinned and twirled in one of my sister's dresses,
Not giving a care should she walk in.
I laughed and fiddled with my hair,
I was coy and shy and natural.
I shed my shell of T-Shirts and jeans,
And let myseelf be free.
I look at the pictures I had taken and said,
Oh- there you are.
I've been looking for you.

No one had really known what to say.
It was an awkward moment when the team discovered their red-headed bro alone in the training room, dancing to a Spanish salsa.
Wally has always danced, and he thought he was pretty good. His mom had tried, when he was much younger, to put him in dance classes, but to no avail. At that age (or any age, I guess), no little boy liked feeling like a girl, and as the only boy in any dance class, that's exactly how he always felt. After the accident, when his uncle took him on as a protégé, Wally revisited dancing. Barry said it was training; that being able to dance would help him flow and move and even, no pun intended, be light on his feet. Like football players taking ballet.
The first class he took, classical dancing, was boring as hell and ended up being his favourite. He wasn't the only boy anymore; he made friends. Girls would clamour to be his partner for whichever dance they were learning next (at their age, the

So, naturally, it lifted his spirits a little to go inside. A man with so much love to share?
He's one of the few in this world
To take the time to show his care.
Did I mention to you my hero
Who helped me to lay down my knife?
He brought to light my joy inside
And reminded me the temporariness of strife.
Did I mention to you my saviour,
Who made me come to love me?
He blesses this world with all his work
In his constant support and charity.
Did I mention to you this humble man,
Who cares for the world deeply so?
He makes you laugh and makes you cry
Through the genuineness he shows.
It's hard to believe that this one man
Could inspire so many to chase their dreams
And prove to all who hear his words
That it may not be as difficult as it seems.
You call us your heros, your shining stars.
Thank you Mark for all you do.
It's people like me who want to prove
That the real hero is you.

In this hopefully short essay, I shall attempt to explain what each of them is, their current founding history as of the submission of this essay, and what their awesome cool powers are. At the bottom of the essay is a list of definitions of the more obscure aspects of the Green Lantern, if there's anything you don't understand, please say and I shall address it. The rest of this is going to be a little less formal, so I hope you'll read it *Smiley face*

Soft touch of her lips rescued me from another action, where I was dying for a millionth time. "Wake up" whispered her voice into my ear, and only now I've realized that I was dreaming. Without opening my eyes, I pull her closer to me and breathe in the smell of her hair. It's wet, seems like she's just got from the shower.

And your eyes turn from blue to gray
And in the winter I'll hold you in a cold place
And you should never cut your hair

She laughs quietly and kisses me one more time. "Good morning". Another kiss. I finally open my eyes and all I can see is her bright blue eyes and light pink hair. Morning sun doesn't deny itself pleasure of playing with her hair, and I can't resist it too. Gently touching her skin, I take away wavy lock from her face.
