She always rubs her mouth,
like there’s a secret she can’t say out loud.
Tracing her own lips to prevent a smile, a frown, or a tear.
Sometimes her real smile peeks through, but you can only see it in her squinted almond eyes; dark amber, and soft, just like that bashful grin.
Sometimes a frown shows when no one is looking, followed by a wistful sigh and a simple wipe of the palm across that silent mouth, trying to push the bad feelings and words away.
Sometimes tears roll past her knuckles; she fails to catch them at the source because she’s scared to wipe her eyes raw, so she brushes them away after they’ve fallen in the crook of her pink lips.
She always hides her mouth,
as if she’s afraid to speak.
She never faces you completely,
like you’re not worth her full attention.
Averting her cold gaze, she walks with a haughty, empty stride.
Even when her striking blue eyes are pointed at you, her chin is always tilted up and shoulder

Sneaking in through my window and seducing me out of sleep
She keeps me up past sunrise, whispering sweet promises in my ear
Silencing me with her smoldering passion, stripping me until inspiration strikes
She makes me sing, until the sheets are slathered in a thick skin of poetry
Sending shivers up my spine and igniting my senses with her ghostly fingers
She is a lover and a shadow, nowhere to be seen when I wake
Sometimes, she is my psychosis
Suffocating and strong, I can do nothing but submit to her grasp
She seethes, like a snake constricting around me until my sight blurs to smoke
Slowly, she consumes me with sick reverence and searing obsession
She stifles me because she refuses to be restrained, yet I long for her kiss
Severing haggard breaths from my lips, leaving me stunned and aching
She is a succubus and a nightmare, haunting me
Sometimes, she is my saint
Stifling sobs against my shoulder, shaking me until my tears start to fall
She has so much

She couldn't stand it, she just couldn't.
The others steered clear of Katara as she marched through the Western Air Temple in another one of her unpredictable rages.
Some of them shook their heads at this outburst. Katara's little fits had been occurring more frequently ever since Zuko had joined their group. And while most of them understood her anger, they were also growing a bit tired of her attitude.
Being aware of this, she kept to herself more often and would seek refuge in one area of the temple where she knew she wouldn't be disturbed.
Here, she would release all her emotions through intense waterbending training, focusing her energies on improving her skills.
The latest grudge she had been harboring against the young firebender was that of becoming popular within the group.
Katara frowned as she remembered how easily he had been accepted and forgiven by everyone else.
Aang's kindness was expected but even Sokka had been won over by the firebender. Even he

What do you say, Momo? Katara asked her furry companion, a cup of tea before we get back to the king?
The lemur gave a chirp of assent. The waterbender smiled and walked towards the new teahouse. But just as she was about to enter, a waiter came out and closed the doors.
Isn't it a bit too early to close shop? Katara asked curiously.
I'm sorry, miss, the waiter replied, but you should come back later. We're just closing now to prepare for tonight's big event.
What big event? the waterbender inquired.
Well, the man explained, to celebrate the grand opening of the Jasmine Dragon, our boss has decided to throw a big party called Music Night. Good food, great tea, music, and lots of dancing! It is going to be a lot of fun! You really should come.
Katara hesitated for a moment. They were in the middle of preparations for an invasion. Was it too capricious to b

"Not quite." Sara stated. "Eden was a project launched by the Evergreen Corporation to help find solutions for world hunger, environmental regrowth and rebuilding habitats for endangered animals. "Longshot! Give it back!" Smellerbee cried trying to snatch her sweet bun out of my grasp. She was only seven though, and short for her age, whereas I was nine and more than a head taller. She loved me though, even with all my teasing. I found her, cold and half starved, when she was six, after she had lost her home. I had brought her here, to Jet's forest, and we have lived together ever since. Jet, as the oldest, always took care of food for us and sometimes managed to snag treats like candies or sweet buns.
"Why don't you two just go and get married," Jet teased, making a kissy face while he watched the two of us run through the trees. Smellerbee glared, she was clearly annoyed with both of us. It must be hard being the only girl. Finally giving up on trying to reach the sweet bun, she pounced and did the sweeping kick Jet had shown her, instead; knocking me off my feet.
"Victory is mine!" she cheered as she took the bun from me before I had time to react. With

I can't seem to find or fix myself
Lost in time, such a ugly place
With each line, I'm losing my face
starting over new, because I have to
Change myself yet not be like you
But I'm empty within, only so much one can take
Trapped under my skin, I told myself not to break
And if I do, pick up the bits
Smile and pretend
Like I don't give a shit
Who are you but who am I?
Words sound true but They're a lie
Happines so new but then it dies
I don't know what do, so I look inside
Inside I find hollow, no surprise
Don't want to face tomorrow, so I hide
deep in the darkness, where I find something more
Don't know what started this, but theres blood on the floor
What looked to be nothing turned into a freak
A monster inside, pretending to be weak

She acted like a child, she was so happy and wild
And she would always share her love,
She was always with a smile
But one day I noticed, she was no longer happy
So I approached her and said “Why so unhappy?”
She didn’t respond, she just started crying
Later she said “My father is dying.”
Her father had cancer, bedridden and solemn
I only had one answer, “We both know where he’s going.”
She grabbed my hand and responded with “Thank you.”
So then we stood up, and continued growing
A few weeks later, her father passed away
But I always held her, day by day
She never left my side, I helped her feel beloved
On the worst days of Summer, I gave her my love

"Oh!" Katara slapped her phone shut and nodded. "Yea, yea. I am."
"Well, git over here, then!" Sokka insisted with a wave of the arm. Katara sighed deeply, her concern for her friend having been spiked up sharply since she had last seen Jane huddled on her bed the other day.
She sat down at the wooden table, Aang to her left, Sokka and Suki across from her, and Toph on the tables narrow side between Aang and Suki. A small pile of red cards had already been laid at her chair. Apples to Apples was a curious card game that Toph couldn't play, of course, but enjoyed spectating. Sometimes the group would alter the rules a bit and have Toph judge the winner of every round, but she wasn't up for it this time, it seemed, preferring to lay her

A few minutes passed. Lu Ten finally lifted up the flap of the tent and entered. General Iroh who sat alone, waiting for the approaching battle just like his son was, looked up as Lu Ten entered. He smiled widely upon seeing his beloved son.

I remember the basics: you had two eyes, two ears, a mouth and a nose. I can't remember what color your eyes were, or what hair style you had, but I do remember that you were tall.
And facial hair. I definitely remember that, because it tickled every time it grazed my cheeks.
But it's been... a week? Maybe two. Hell, I can't even remember when it was I last saw you, and it's driving me crazy. I can barely concentrate on everyday life because i'm trying to put together the pieces to this puzzle, but it's not easy.
All the pieces are blurry; a big collage of colors that are supposed to somehow make a face... your face.
I don't remember what your name was, or how tall you were, or even your age. Are you older then me? Younger maybe? It doesn't matter.
I might not be able to
