Yeah so, my job... It's boring, horribly stupid, and a serious waste of time. (most jobs fit some of that o_o) Too many clerks, too few people buying stuff.. There isn't anything ever to do, I just stand around trying to find something to occupy my time. Though some people might find that entertaining.. I don't, I don't like any of the people there so I wouldn't be talking to them. And well, time goes by much slower when I'm not doing anything. And all the carts are like... Stolen, there's like.. Barely enough to make one row. So we always have to go out in the icky heat to get like 4 that a spewn across the parking lot. And well, if they don't realize how stupid they're being, having so many clerks at 9 at night on a weekday (weekend even)... Well, I dunno. But they're pretty pretty stupid. And ALL that paper wasted just for a receipt that's for a stick of gum.. Agh! Man. My sentences are probably broken by now, if they weren't to begin with. So I'll just end this and say my usual line.

Stupid Albertsons

No offence to anyone, this particular one is just stupid.. Perhaps there's a few out there that are a little more intelligent.. Or maybe not.

And yes... I grow pointy ears when I clock in at that place.

Professor von Stephens: So, Quinn, whatcha got planned for this one?
Me: Well, i think-
Jake McKibben: (cutting in) Jeff's gonna paint himself lifting weights in the bottom corner! He'll be all, "Argghhh!" (struggling noises, pretending to lift weights)...
(awkward pause)
Me: Yep. That's what i'm gonna do.
Professor von Stephens: (shakes head, walks away)

Sorry, no self-portrait of me struggling under wights. maybe later.

I couldn't get this one to photograph well... but i guess i'm happy with how the tape looks. but i could have done better on the thumbtacks and the moth. *double *

I couldn't help but see it when I saw the original painting. I couldn't resist editing.

Finally! It took a long ass time but here is the final version of this pic I have been working on; I am using it as the final project for my digital media class. I am really pleased with how this one came out and now I have tons of momentos from the awesome Primus concert I went to: ticket, DVD/CD, all three sets on MP3s, and cool finished art piece.

Sorta a series I guess you could say. This is inspired by the greed in this world, or perhaps just America. I find it sorta sad that America has alot of money whereas other countries maybe do not so. There is poverty in America and with this President it has much more chances of becoming even more prevailent. Working at the grocery store has taught me so much about humanity and moneys coexistence. I am sadly a penny collector. Pennies can add up. I am cheap because I sorta have to be. I am not rich. Many people leave their change after buying groceries, especially pennies, they do not care about the small change. Only problem is they put that money right back into the corporate grocery store. All the change adds up! But when it comes to big bills they want it all.
Other people, homeless, hungry, or third world countries, would love those added up pennies. Ask any guy standing their with a cup downtown begging for "change"
But when it comes to big bills we all get greedy. Money is what runs the world. Big money runs the people.
