Time passed, and sadly did the lives of many people, too. You continued onward, finishing off the easier opponents and now heading onto the more difficult ones with only a couple minor cuts. As you glanced up every once and a while, it seemed like the number of people on either side never decreased.
There’s way too many of them… you thought, running towards a long line of skilled fighters with some members on your team. You all dashed towards them as they noticed the stampede and got themselves ready.
“Be careful, guys! These idiots can be tricky to take down. Stay on your toes!” one troop called out to you and the rest of the people in the line.

This mansion was falling apart.
It was aged and covered in what appeared to be black slime.
Although the moon was shining brighter than you have ever seen it shine before, the whole castle seemed to be draped in an eerie shadow.
Thick vines were crawling up and down the sides of the gloomy castle, and dark, heavy clouds hung lowly, just barley scraping the tips of the sharpened watchtowers.
The only thing the darkness didn't touch were the flames below the castle.
A fiery inferno lapped at the edges of the cracked ground, successfully driving off anyone with the intentions to intrude- or escape. It looked like the only way to get in and out of the castle was to cross the ratty-looking drawbridge on the other side of the flames.
