DC: Meetings - HemaBaneArkham Asylum was growing ever restless. There was something in the air, some kind of spark, that was bringing a cold tingling to everyone's spines. Guards were becoming more wary and less forgiving, actions that had been halfway permitted of the inmate patients were no longer tolerated. Some of the more boisterous of criminals were growing silent. They all knew something big was coming towards them, though few had any clue what it was.DC: Meetings - HemaBane2 years ago in Romance More Like This
Hema Aron was included in this, though she was aware that she knew more and had more freedoms than many of the other patients. She didn't deserve them, but Margret Rowe had taken a liking to her, and if Hema were to be honest, then she would admit that she had grown to enjoy Margret's company as well. The moments that she was able to spend with both Margret, a guard within the asylum, and the youthful Yuki Scarlet, another patient, had been comforting. A strange thing when you are locked in a place such as Arkham, Hema thought.

Your eyes fluttered open as a bright ray of light flooded your tiny closet sized room. You instinctively reached over to your bed-side table and grabbed your goggles. You securely fastened them to your face before you opened your eyes. You crawled out of your tattered bed and made your way down the creaky old stairs of your safe house. You walked to the front door of the house and made sure the door was still securely shut.
You noticed a trail of crimson blood drip from inside the lock. You knew instantly that they'd been here last night. You could basically smell the chemicals that they'd left. You made a mental note to switch safe houses in the next couple days or they'd certainly find a way in.
"Good morning," a voice greeted.
You turned your attention away from the bloody, splintered door and towards the voice. A tall blonde haired male stood before you, his blue eyes studied your suited body.
"They were here last night," you muttered after a few minutes of dead silence.
72. Insomnia - JohnlockJohn lay awake in bed, an all too familiar violin screeching downstairs. Of course, it wasn't actually screeching, but at three in the morning it might as well be. Now if it had been in the afternoon or sometime that wasn't in the middle of the night, the violin would be quite pleasant.72. Insomnia - Johnlock3 years ago in Romance More Like This
He squeezed his eyes shut and held his pillow up against his ears. The action was futile, he knew from doing so several times before. Upon realizing that it still wouldn't work he let go of the pillow and opened his eyes with a sigh. He kicked off the blankets and stood up, walking over to the door of his room. He opened it up just enough to poke his head out and yelled, "Would you keep it down! Some people are trying to sleep!" He tried his best to sound threatening and angry but it only came out as tired and groggy and not intimidating at all. The sound of the violin paused for a moment and John thought that he finally got through to him. Unfortunately he didn't and the screeching continued. John sigh

John and Sherlock had been living together for quite some time now, and the detective had gotten used to the various females that appeared around their flat now and then – John's girlfriends, ex-girlfriends, patients, relatives of patients, and basically every other girl within a half mile. However, he could sense that this time, it was something different. She didn't seem as if she was John's love interest; they seemed to be on more of a casual basis, so it could be easily assumed that they were colleagues.
“Sherlock, this is Joan...” John said, leading her into the living room that day.
Of course, introducing her by the name was meaningless – Sherlock would forget it anyway.
“Hi,” she said a little bit cautiously, shaking his hand. Beeswax cream, Sherlock noted mentally. She washes her hands frequently, has callouses on her palm - obviously works with her hands - but sh

John dragged his feet up the stairs. He’d been called into A&E because of a huge fire that had broken out near Westminster, and because of the sheer number of casualties he’d been forced to work nigh on six hours after he’d already worked a 12-hour day at the hospital.
And I’ve been working like a dog
It wasn’t that John particularly minded working at the hospital, but he wished he’d had more than just two hours between times. He was sure that after all that time, Sherlock would’ve had something else explode in the microwave and he’d have to clean that up as well.
It’s been a hard day’s night
John finally reached the top of the staircase and stumbled into the living room to find Sherlock sitting on the sofa with a plate of toast, watching the news on the telly. Without looking up, Sherlock asked, “So how was it?” John

Careful when you come in.
Mrs. Hudson is trying to hide mistletoe around the flat.
Inconvenient. But why does that equal my need for caution?
Because she's taken to hiding in the closets when I come in so I don't see what she's up to. Wouldn't want you to attack her because you don't realize it's her.
John, I could recognize her perfume from a mile away.
It was a statement of fact, not an insult!
Why is she hiding mistletoe around the flat anyway?
She does it every year.
Yes, but in the past years you and I where only friends and she was attempting to remedy that. Now we're a couple and it serves no purpose
I don't know – nostalgia?
Yes I'm sure she looks back fondly on the days when you refused to go through the door-way behind me because of the mistletoe over it. Ah, the memories.
Stuff it. Besides, everything was different then.

Chapter 18: Forgiven
The boys giggle and talk as they finish their brownies. The duo finds a movie and watches it, Conversations With Other Women. Why did Gumball agree to watch this movie? Because, Darwin wanted to watch it. The two boys where snuggling on the couch the whole time. Soon enough, the two head upstairs and go to sleep, with one thought on their minds: Best. Valentines. Ever.
Darwin is the first to wake up from his warm slumber -like usual- and looks blurrily over to the purring boy beside him. He smiles and turns around, so that the sleeping cats nose and his own touched lightly. Darwin strokes his hair tenderly, causing Gumball to sigh in his sleep. The fish found it ironic how Gumball seemed to always purr whenever he was around, when the older boy never seemed to purr when he was younger. He liked the fact that he made his lover feel that relaxed around him.

Before I was trapped by this sneaky god I was a normal mortal girl living on what they called Midgard. I had an ok life living in my small apartment alone. I was watching T.V. when I heard a knocking at the door followed by a thud. I opened it to a large man lying on the floor mat. He was quite big, his muscles where bulging out of the navy blue shirt he was wearing. His golden hair was covering up his face. I bent down and removed them, revealing a handsome face. I gently touched the man's cheek, but he suddenly opened his eyes.
"Ah," I scream jumping to my feet. The stranger

Do you recall that email your sister sent a few weeks ago?
How could I forget?! And why are you asking? I thought we agreed not to talk about it.
Well you're memory isn't as impeccable as mine, so I was simply double-checking. And I don't recall agreeing to any such thing.
You did. We were having tea that night and I was deleting the email and I said "We don't ever mention this again" and you nodded and said "Mmhmm"
I wasn't agreeing with you! I was confirming that man's answer to the trivia question on the telly – don't you remember? The question was about the source of Ricin. Honestly, John - you should pay more attention.
I give up. What do you want? You texted me about it for a reason. Don't tell me she sent something else!

The Blind DateHarry Watson rolled her eyes and grinned as she read the most recent entry in John's blog. She barely cared about the case itself but ever since she'd read the first entry about Sherlock Holmes, she'd been curious about how her brother described the man. He seemed to almost have a schoolgirl-type crush on Sherlock, which Harry pointed out in a comment with glee. Further entries showed how John was slowly falling for the arrogant detective, though every hint Harry left was resolutely ignored. The Blind Date3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

Hey it wasn't denial!
Really? Cause I seem to recall hearing nothing but "I'm not gay." from you.

I love Sherlock and I'm attracted to him but only him no other men. So not gay.
