I'm aware that there are other Ivy pics with the caught Batman setup, but I liked my sketch too much to change my picture after the others got submitted ^^ It was a ton of fun doing this and learned some stuff too, so very pleased all in all
Image shows Poison Ivy, Batman and Robyn, all proberty of DC Comics. This is for the "SCRIBBLENAUTS Unmasked" Contest here on dA.
Here is Superman and Wonder Woman two of my favorite DC character Just try to capture the moment when the badguy tore apart the place and suddenly a hero or heroine come over to do their job, protect the innocent and beat up the badguy...
Superman first appeared in Action Comics #1 (June 1938) and subsequently appeared in various radio serials, television programs, films, newspaper strips, He usually wears a blue costume, red cape, and stylized red-and-yellow "S" shield on his chest. This shield is used in a myriad of media to symbolize the character.
I draw Superman with Superman Uncahined costume : On March 4, 2013, USA Today announced the official title of the series, Superman Unchained. To celebrate Superman's 75th anniversary, the series would launch on June 12, 2013, two days before the release of Man of Steel
When I saw that notification for the Scribblenauts contest, I started drawing immediately and didn't stop until I was finished! What are the odds, too: I finally caught up with Young Justice yesterday. Anyway, I was going to draw just the Robins, but I like Cass too, and I figured I might as well make the numbers even. Man, I hope multiple characters are allowed.
From left to right (I can never remember the number of Batgirls): Stephanie Brown (Robin IV/Spoiler/Batgirl) Jason Todd (Robin II/Red Hood) Dick Grayson (Robin I/Nightwing) Bruce Wayne (Batman) Tim Drake (Robin III/Red Robin) Damian Wayne (Robin V) Cassandra Cain (Batgirl)
All the characters belong to DC, Scribblenauts belongs to 5th Cell and WB Games. All of the characters have appeared in some issue of Batman.
Poison Ive from Batman DC comics (first appear in Batman #181 (June 1966))
Because beautyful things can be danger too >
I wanted draw Poison Ivy as firs (it's my fav female DC character), when I started this pic yesterday in contest folder was no pic with her but well... it took me too much hours so when I finished there was already few pics with Poison Ivy ;__; Anyway I put here many details as I could, probably it's not enaugh but I tried at least I have today some crisis with this pic too, wasn't sure why I even trying because there will be a lot more better stuff... but why not? Challenging ourself is good, right?
Wanted to try my hand at the new Scribblenauts contest DA launched, especially since it's open worldwide!
So here's one of DC's most powerful magicians, Zatanna! She quite often 'hides in plain sight', disguising her magic as just simple tricks and illusions to the average person, and her costume over the years has always been a sexy stage outfit, complete with wand and top hat.
First appearing in a Hawkman Comic back in 1964, she has since appeared in numerous titles across the DC universe, including, but not limited to Batman/Detective, Justice League, Green Lantern, and The Books of Magic. She took part in the Identity Crisis and Infinite Crisis series, and had her own four part comic simply named Zatanna as part of the Seven Soldiers of Victory event. She's also made appearances in the animated series of Justice League and Batman, and has had a few videogame appearances too. ~Info via Wikipedia~
It was really an interesting style to try out, and I'm pleased I gave it a shot, because it was a lot of fun too ~
Teen Titan characters for the Scribblenauts Unmasked competition. All characters used: Raven, Starfire, Trigon, Beast Boy (who is the green Octopus thing in the corner), and a little Maxwell who's hiding in the UFO. This is my first ever contest entry, so i hope i win even though I'm not exactly popular Edit: added texture to the black background to make it look less dull and also faded out ravens tentacles owo
