Meet Riley. Looks familiar to someone from Kaleidoscope 1 huh? HAHA.
The funny thing was when I sketched him out he initially had an eye patch, then I kept asking myself doesn't he look like another character? Later I was looking through some of my old work and was shocked that he I drew the eye patch on the same side as Lavi/Rabi from D Gray. Subconscious drawing? So I made some changes and kept him looking close to Rylee.
Character design by me.
Oh man so Kaleidoscope keeps getting pushed back because our coder is having college issues. It's his last semester so there's a lot of work for him to get finish. Art wise everything is done. I am helping right now with integration and naming conventions.
This was a really unexpected little project. I'm absurdly excited for Age of Ultron (and clearly have been for a while if you've seen my previous posters) so today I just decided to work on a quick little poster for the film. Turned out rather well. I'm not a particular fan of posters that make almost everything blurry, but I figured since this was only intended to be something quick, it wouldn't be too bad. The logo was fun to put together; I definitely think the destructive look of it works well.
Playing Portal 2, you may notice a sign somewhere in Old Aperture that depicts a test subject carrying a very... retro portal device. I decided it'd be fun to spend the morning designing a range of 'Quantum Tunneling Devices' that predate the modern Portal Device.

It's cheeesy but hope someone likes it! Tom Hiddleston is one of the judges! O_O I am freaking obsessed with Loki right now...more Tom Hiddleston art on the way haha
EDIT: WELP it didnt get approved... sigh.....that was like 6 hours of work for nothing. I am upset that it wont even have the smallest chance of getting looked at by the judges *cough* *cough* Tom... bummmmed...
