My custom made figure of STARFIRE ffrom Teen Titans. I've been missing the original design of the Teen Titans TV show 2003-2006 since watching the new Titans Go! chibi style version which is fun, but just not the same.... This has been on the workbench for a long time now and I finally finished her. I'll post another pic soon with 360' views of all the details. This Kori is huge and stands 13" tall - about 1:6 scale. The eyes have 6 shades of green and I painted in the gems too. Her outfit is done in color changing paints that have deep purple with pink gleam and the blue has an ice blue Iridescence that plays with the light for really great effects.
The horse gestures aren't actually traditionally done, they were done with my tablet using the ink pen in SAI.
This is the batch of animal gestures I included in my portfolio. If memory serves the timing for each varied from *about* 30 seconds to 5 minutes. Approximately. I think. All were sketched from random photo's I found, or from videos on Youtube. The horse ones are actually from photo's I've taken of my horse, Joker
My favorite is the grumpy gorilla. It looks like he's going "No, it's mine. >C"
Mediums include Pencil, Conte, Pen, and tablet.
I just felt like uploading something. It was either this, or a huge sketch dump of GarGar related monsters. That will probably be coming up next, or close to next.
I drew this one way back in like, October, I think... but I spent sooooo long on it!! But it's sooooooooo awesome!!! *SQUEE* This is, by far, the best hands/Realism I have ever drawn!!
When I was drawing it, the guys hand (one with the chains), was drawn upside down, not to mention meant to be the girls hand XDDD. Then I flipped my paper upside down and it rather looked as though it was grabbing for something than hold it open to some one else. So I kept it flipped and began drawing the girls hand. The picture looked good as a rough sketch, but I was worried if I shaded it, I'd ruin it, I've done that before. However, I decided to take a leap of faith and I shaded it. It looked even more amazing. The chains and ribbon were a last minute touch to add a deeper meaning to the picture.
