Grayson turned to the young voice belonging to the CEO of Wayne Enterprise. Grayson sent a small smile to the business man.
“Of course Mr. Wayne. I wouldn’t have much of an investigation without ya.” Grayson greeted the CEO warmly as they shook hands.
“Please, just call me Wayne. With the amount of time we’ve spent together the last few months, I think we can drop the formalities.” Wayne corrected. Grayson just nodded and took a seat in the empty chair in front of Wayne’s desk.
“So Wayne, what is it you want to talk about. Has the mob contacted you again? Has He been sending you threats about the inheritance?”
Wayne sat in the extravagant leather seat behind the desk, tightening his tie and fixing his cufflinks.
“No, they have gone underground again. They have been laying low ever since the news published the investigation. It’s a shame how press always needs the next hot

Jason recognized that his name was called but blatantly ignored it, involved in repairing his motorcycle.
He gripped the wrench in his hand stronger and jerked a bolt extra tight to let out his annoyance, mumbling, "Tim..."
"JAYJAY?! YOUR ASSISTANCE IS BEING REQUESTED!"
He looked up from his spot kneeling in front of one of the tires. He huffed as he threw his wrench aside into a toolbox and wiped the grease off with a handkerchief, "What do you want, baby bird?"
"DAMIAN'S SMOTHERING COLIN WITH HIS PELICAN!"
He wiped the back of his still oily hand on his forehead, "Again?"
"HURRY PLEA--- AAAGH DAMIAN, MY LEG IS NOT FOR TEETHING!"
Rubbing his temple with his fingers, he walked at his leisurely own pace down the hall, despite Tim's desperate cries echoing down the halls. He finally located where the shouting was coming from and creaked the door open with one hand to peek in.
All three of the young boys were engaged in a frenzied dog pile. Tim was on the bottom, looki

Once upon a time there was a dark knight who protected his kingdom with valor and bravery, outwitting the slime of the earth at every turn. He had few allies: a talented blacksmith who gave him armor and weapons, a chief guardsman who worked with other goodhearted men to help when the knight could not, a kind healer who was there in his greatest times of need, and a faithful servant who raised him into the man he was now. For a time this knight, who was secretly also the crown prince, did well, protecting his people and destroying the evils that plagued his people.
But one night, when he took some time to do his princely duties, he failed to stop a crime upon a visiting troupe. An orphan was made, with nowhere to go and unable to continue with his parents' friends and allies. Though the lower authorities said they would handle the boy, the crown prince, also an orphan, took the child in as his own.
For a season the prince managed to hide his status as the dark knig

The metal forced the air from his lungs as he was dropped. A heavily booted foot shoved against his back and he was suddenly sliding, his body twisting and rolling uncontrollably. There was nothing for his bare feet to grip to slow his descent and his cry of pain echoing close around him as an exposed rivet gouged into his calf. With his hands bound behind his back there was no way he could brace him as his uncontrolled descent came to an abrupt halt when his shoulder slammed painfully into the bottom of the pit Dick Grayson now found himself at the bottom of.
He groaned at the flare of pain, and looked back up the way he had fallen. Corrugated metal sides surrounded him and the thick ripple-like surface pressed into his back. Half of a large metal door was swinging into place twenty feet over his head and beyond that he could several feet of soil and stone above that.
Dick felt the thread of fear and swallowed the rising panic. But seeing the interior

Nightwing: *narrating* This is bad. You think you can watch something on the news or hear something from a friend about Gotham City and think its bad. You don't know even HOW bad it really is.
In the smog over the city, we can see a small dark figure.
Nightwing: *narrating* This isn't as bad as the quake, or when the Clench ran through the city, or the Zero Year,or the Night of the Owls; but it's close.
We see Nightwing is the speck, he's on a hang-glider.
Nightwing: *narrating* A gang war has broken out. A big one. Penguin, Black Mask, and the Falcones are at each other's throats; each one blaming the others for inciting it. The Gotham Police can barely keep order, or protect the civilians.
The hang-glider goes over a bridge, armed thugs can be seen below.

It was hard for him to be there, on so many levels. He really shouldn't be there. The others were avoiding their families and friends, staying in the shadows like they all promised until they figured out how to fix things. But as soon as he heard, he had to see it for himself. The others couldn't blame him. They'd do the same if one of their own had died.
Steph and Cass wanted to go with him, but that was risky. If too many bats, or doubles of bats, appeared in Gotham, things could spiral out of control. One at a time could come though, if he tested the waters first. Shaky, Tim made it to the grave site and gaped at the headstone.

He was only ten years old.
Horror filled him, more than he'd like admit. He hated the brat when he was alive. He took everything from him when his whole world was crashing down. Dick. Alfred. Steph. Robin. He tri

Dick’s blue eyes went wide and he quickly swam to the nearest wall. He pulled himself up and almost out of the pool before two strong arms wrapped around his waist and pulled him back into the water. Dick splashed and tried to kick at Jason, but Jason was not letting go anytime soon.
Dick began to laugh as Jason kissed at a spot beneath Dick’s ear lobe. “Jason, stop!”
Jason smirked against Dick’s bitter, wet skin and lapped his ton

It was beautiful, this hotel in which they'd decided to create one last memory. Of course, the black haired beauty lying buried in those sweat soaked sheets didn't know it.
It was better this way, she kept telling herself. If anyone could understand leading a new life, it would be him.

Dick and Bruce were definitely different. After a few nights on patrol, he'd found that he actually missed the quirky quips that slipped out from his mentor occasionally. He missed the simple reassurance, and he missed the subtle warmth that could be found woven within his strong voice that never really left.

There is a hood attached to the armor for stealth, as well as a scarf with a split end, like a swift's tale. He often brings it up to cover his mouth for stealth, but normally wears it "because it looks cool". He also wears a domino mask. The armor itself is light yet extremely durable, and is molded to Sam's body. As a growing boy, though, Sam needs to make a new set every so often and will us

The crowd was thin, maybe a few dozen people, but it was enough for the drone of voice to fill the gymnasium. The bleachers were all but empty of spectators, only a few parents and chaperones willing to brave the cold snap that Gotham City awoke to on the first Saturday of December. The cold that could be felt every time the door opened and a draft came in from the corridor.

Walking along the hallway of the living quarters in Titan Tower, Robin stopped short as Raven unexpectedly emerged from her own bedroom door. Her nose was stuck in a book, and as such wasn’t really looking where she was going. Robin nearly ran into her, though he needn’t worry, Raven probably would have changed directions anyway. She was empathic. Looking up from the ancient text she was engrossed in she saw Robin catch his footing.
“Morning.” Raven greeted him simply.
“Good Morning.” Robin replied back, with a slight aggravation in his voice. “Next time I should watch where I’m going.”
“Cute.” Raven raised an eyebrow, a flicker of a smile played at the corner of her lips.
“Are you hungry? We should get some breakfast.” Robin wisely decided to change the subject.
As they continued along together, they remained silent.

Wally walked into the warehouse, the same one that he had seen Artemis leave with Kaldur. He sighed, his features tense. He didn't know how he was going to tell both of them, but he needed to. He wouldn't leave the two of them in the dark. He walked towards a few boxes, leaning against them, and waited. He felt terrible, felt like he had gotten hit by a truck in fact. He didn't know what he was going to do. He sighed again; he couldn't just come out and say it. "Hey guys, you know that bomb you put in the Mountain? Ya well Nightwing sort of got caught in the explosion and he might die." Ya, that sounded like it would go over well.

For such a simple word, he found it quite baffling. By itself, it had so many variable connotations, and none of them were something a father wanted to hear. "What do you mean, gone?"
Eduardo Dorado Sr. stood in front of the work station inside the Zeta chamber, the computer screen before him now a random blur; his attention was exclusively on the cell phone to his ear, trying to focus on his own father's voice through the mounting tide of emotions.
Thiago Dorado clarified, "Your son has run off."

Quickly, he reminded himself of his co-workers flanking both sides, suddenly eyeing him curiously, their monitors momentarily forgotten as well. Covering the mouthpiece, he demanded, "Why are you calling me only now?"

Tonight's the night.
I'm not sure why, but I've decided to make this little audio journal before I go.
I feel the need to talk this through, even if it's just to myself.
Well, the old me.
After tonight I will be a different person.
I suppose I should start at the beginning.
I was a student at a prestigious university in gotham, studying for a degree in human psychology.
I was enjoying my school life, but something felt wrong.
It was a like a whisper in the back of my head, something was just irritating me.
My studies in human psychology started making me very cynical when I considered the state of the modern world.
In one class we were debating criminal illness, and someone brought up the topic of capital punishment.
We all talked but I felt I was the only one who really thought it could be a just decision in some cases.
The simple fact is, the world would be better off without some people.
The Scarecrow, the Riddler, Two-face, Poison Ivy and of course The Joker.
